gifs speak louder than words ever could ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) A real, working NEM would speak louder than the entirety of this thread did. Ahhhhhhhh, you know what? Usuallly that's not my nature, but we're here on the internet and I think I will speak for all of us, when I'm telling you that you are going on our nerves. So PLEASE (not that I'm not polite^^), just shut the fuck up. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Time to go to bed now. Today, it was a good day, no matter what the trolls are saying! N8 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i don't know why you think he's trolling, but sadly he's right. Now it's 2k15, NEM was supposed to go out last year ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

most funny thing is that there is 1btc limit to invest!
lol...they think that so they can seem more trustworthy?

blah
So let me get this straight. You projected a guess for a low of $200 (though you expected it to happen last spring) and you also predicted that we'd be at $560,000 by later this year? Did you honestly think that both could come true? Or just covering your bases for either outcome, so you could at least come back to this forum and try to save some face? Instead of trying to descredit me why don't you reveal your genius for all to see? Here's a "predict the price at christmas" thread from back in november when the price was around $900 and riiiiising... $720
The average guess was over $2k, the actual price on 25th $660... on boxing day it traded at $720. OMG another terrible call! Probably invalidated for being a day out ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You keep saying I'm an idiot and haven't called anything right, and the only thing you can point to is something that hasn't happened yet? Something that isn't even a prediction of specific price but a general theory on how price will behave if we get mass adoption (still not read the first post huh?) I'm still waiting for you to admit who you are so that we can all see from your post history how early and accurately *you* called this bear market... one important question: after 4 months, do you think that what you wrote can really happen? or something have changed?

i don't understand...who care in which way they will refund us? why it's important to you?

Updating with some additional information to the blockchain address http://techcrunch.com/2015/01/05/bitstamp-bitcoin-exchange-hack/Bitstamp customers can rest assured that their bitcoins held with us as prior to temporary suspension of services on January 5th (at 9am UTC) are completely safe and will be honored in full. On January 4th, some of Bitstamp’s operational wallets were compromised, resulting in a loss of less than 19,000 BTC. Upon learning of the breach, we immediately notified all customers that they should no longer make deposits to previously issued bitcoin deposit addresses. As an additional security measure, we suspended our systems while we fully investigate the incident and actively engage with law enforcement officials. As an aside it makes the top 3 (Not the best start to 2015) I think it is still too early to call this hack to be over. When bitstamp reopens, it is possible the size of the hack could be extended when they refill their hot wallet and/or the process of having to tap funds from cold storage multiple times. it's too early becouse we don't have our money back yet. Really hope that list on first post don't need to be updated with this ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Bitstamp Service Temporarily Suspended
We have reason to believe that one of Bitstamp’s operational wallets was compromised on January 4th, 2015.
As a security precaution against compromises Bitstamp only maintains a small fraction of customer bitcoins in online systems. Bitstamp maintains more than enough offline reserves to cover the compromised bitcoins.
IN THE MEANTIME, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE DEPOSITS TO PREVIOUSLY ISSUED BITCOIN DEPOSIT ADDRESSES. THEY CANNOT BE HONORED!
Customer deposits made prior to January 5th, 2015 9:00 UTC are fully covered by Bitstamp’s reserves. Deposits made to newly issued addresses provided after January 5th, 2015 9:00 UTC can be honored.
Bitstamp takes our security and soundness very seriously. In an excess of caution, we are suspending service as we continue to investigate. We will return to service and amend our security measures as appropriate.

Avevo tutti i miei btc su bitstamp. I miei risparmi.
e come ti sbagli... P.S: scusa, non sono riuscito a resistere cmq, quanto pessimismo, su: anche io ho qualcosina là, ma intanto leggo: Customer deposits made prior to January 5th, 2015 9:00 UTC are fully covered by Bitstamp’s reserves. Deposits made to newly issued addresses provided after January 5th, 2015 9:00 UTC can be honored.

how can i know if they lost MY btc? i can't even log in!
Bitstamp said they will cover the loss, probably by their own money. And they should do that to regain some of their business's reputation, otherwise nobody would trade on their site anymore. where can i find their statement about this? They should publish a text explaining what's happening
explaining what? WE didn't care about you, fouls? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) BitStamp is down for sure. why? they have two options: 1. they cover the loss but their credibility will be almost zero anyway.who will deposit money into a former hacked system? maybe in time...but time is money and i am sure Bitstamp won't resist on market with all their monthly expenses which are not small at all. 2. they close the business and keep the rest of the money. very simple to do it. option one is not always true. for example c-cex.com lost all his btc in march 2014, but right now is more alive than ever. If they can recover all the btc, and prove that they will improve security, they can survive

But life is still going, just fuck those scammers on your mind. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) are you an early miners? 40btc is not so few.. anyways, when someone talk about their loss is better use percentage. If you have 40btc and lost it all is one thing, if you have 1000btc and lost 40btc is an other
