So let me get this straight. You projected a guess for a low of $200 (though you expected it to happen last spring) and you also predicted that we'd be at $560,000 by later this year? On January 4th, some of Bitstamp’s operational wallets were compromised, resulting in a loss of less than 19,000 BTC. Upon learning of the breach, we immediately notified all customers that they should no longer make deposits to previously issued bitcoin deposit addresses. As an additional security measure, we suspended our systems while we fully investigate the incident and actively engage with law enforcement officials. As an aside it makes the top 3 (Not the best start to 2015) I think it is still too early to call this hack to be over. When bitstamp reopens, it is possible the size of the hack could be extended when they refill their hot wallet and/or the process of having to tap funds from cold storage multiple times. it's too early becouse we don't have our money back yet. oggi mi sono recato al chiosco dove era il lamassu per cambiare un po' di btc. erano circa le 16.30 eeeeee... indovinate indovinate!!! ERA FUORI SERVIZIO!!! e voi mi direte... "e che ti spettavi... quando il BTC è basso non vende nessuno!!!" o no???  probabilmente è collegato a un conto bitstamp.... in ogni caso non mi sembra che abbia avuto impatti negativi sul prezzo...no? |

And they should do that to regain some of their business's reputation, otherwise nobody would trade on their site anymore. where can i find their statement about this? explaining what? WE didn't care about you, fouls? BitStamp is down for sure. why? they have two options: 1. they cover the loss but their credibility will be almost zero anyway.who will deposit money into a former hacked system? maybe in time...but time is money and i am sure Bitstamp won't resist on market with all their monthly expenses which are not small at all. 2. they close the business and keep the rest of the money. very simple to do it. option one is not always true. for example c-cex.com lost all his btc in march 2014, but right now is more alive than ever. If they can recover all the btc, and prove that they will improve security, they can survive |

ma questo poi e da vedere, sta di fatto che se ora rubano per esempio 10000 bitcoin hanno rubato valuta virtuale del valore di xx milioni, quindi una persona si aspetta la giusta sicurezza, e puoi stare tranquillo che chi investe migliaia di euro sarebbe felicissimo di pagare un tot annuo per avere la massima sicurezza.
Ma il Bitcoin è sicuro... è l' utente che non lo è  FaSan Eh in effetti FaSan ha ragione , come protocollo è sicuro. Sono gli exchange e i vari servizi che ne fanno uso che sono "buggati" , la sicurezza devi creartela tu in primis. Mi dispiace io non la vedo cosi, nel momento che fai trading stai affidando i tuoi btc ad un exchange che ha il dovere di conservarli in modo sicuro. E questo vale per le banche e per le monete reali. La banca ti garantisce dai furti che subisce, c'è una legislazione che ti tutela e che obbliga la banca ad avere determinate caratteristiche per poter operare, in primis un capitale sociale ed un deposito atto proprio alla tutela. Ma qui parliamo di storia recente, se ti spingi più in là vedrai anche che in passato alcune banche hanno truffato milioni di risparmiatori e sono scappate con il malloppo, all' estero come anche in Italia. Tra i più noti il Banco Ambrosiano, la Banca Romana, La Banca Popolare del Meridione, e molte altre. E' per questo che la prima e più sicura tutela devi fartela da solo, nel mondo virtuale come nel mondo reale. FaSan ma scusa, i depositi non sono tutelati fino 100k per conto corrente? oppure questa è una introduzione recente? |

LOL, it is only 5 btc, I lost 40 btc from shit VOOTCOIN in July and August, because the Voot previous dev did insider trading and scammed us, and the dev screwed us all. Many ppl lost BTC. But life is still going, just fuck those scammers on your mind. are you an early miners? 40btc is not so few.. anyways, when someone talk about their loss is better use percentage. ti sei fatto il calcolo tu? che probabilità c'è che arrivi a 600$? mediamente bassa va inteso come un 30/40%? mediamente bassa è un po' generico A pelle direi che 50% e' sopra il valore di 383 e 50% sotto, 5% sopra la soglia di 3300 e 600 non ne ho la piu' pallida idea ... sarebbe anche interessante approfondire ... considerando che comunque 383 è un valore medio (se non sbaglio nell'articolo dice così..), non penso sia molto facile da stimare In ogni caso, per alcuni di noi, importano anche solo i valori max e min nell'anno |
