Oh Man...how embarrassing! I didn't know this was a contest of creativity for the social media rules of SuperFly. Kicking myself. You guys are going to town on this. I will have to step up to the plate and swing away next week if I want the coach to put me in the game. Kudos people!

Hey Team FLY,

CRYPTOPIA now added FLY to the 'VOTE' list of coins and joined the rank of coins for trading. We are at the bottom of the list (currently), so apparently we are a new addition. If you have a Cryptopia account, PLEASE 'VOTE'.

If you have never been to Cryptopia, you may wish to take a look. I have been there for a few months now and it is my exchange of choice. Not a bunch of FuD in the troll-room, but you may need to learn Spanish, at times. I simply use google translate and am able to understand most. Besides, learning a second language is actually a smart move, in my mind. I find the GUI very easy to get around and interesting to use. If you need help, I'd be happy to lend a hand, if I can. Just PM me.

So...PLEASE take a look...see what you think of the exchange/site, and VOTE 4 FLY

Thank You,

CapnBDL

SWEEEEEET Finally received my FLY from YoBIT! AND, with that, I just cracked the top 50 on the richlist. I know it's not a big deal to most of you, but I really worked to get that 100 FLY. Made it ALL off of trading and selling. Not easy but it's amazing how much some people will pay for your old, dead coins. Took me a while....but I did it!!

Thanks to the FLY Team!!  Way to pull it together. Looks like Rum-n-Coke time....AGAIN! ARRRRRRG me Mateys

Guess I'm screwed to. I think if something is wrong with a wallet or exchange that the Coin people should halt the coin. My coins in cold storage too. We can't expect to see everything in these thread as there is too many and a work life outside of this. As a result of this I have withdrawn all my btc/altcoins out of Yobit. Cryptsy was done a month ago.

I think you have it wrong...umm...partially. YoBit is still a good exchange, for what they do, which is introduce new coins to market. Your BTC is safe. The problem arose with a code issue that wasn't caught 'before it went to market'. I believe it to be ...as much as I hate to say it... a YoBit issue. Not with any other coin, as far as I know, just with the way FLY does business. FLY and YoBit weren't compatible with the withdraw amounts, so...our coins got stuck in a mode I will never repeat (LOL). New words in my dictionary, 'Transfer from cold storage' now fall into the X-rated section, not to be viewed by children under the age of 18. (disclaimer)

You are safe to trade there...however, I take no responsibility for any trades made on my recommendations. (standard disclaimer).

Now....was THAT not a funny comment!! Comon ppl...I try! LOL Still in love with FLY!!

Address withdrawn.

All I can say is...WOW....I knew I had nothing to fret over.

Happy to see a dev stepped up to help out on the FLY withdrawal issue.

As promised....continuing an earlier post.

Even tho the current code is exactly what was asked for by Vegasguy, and Presstab left for vacation, I must exclaim that Vegasguy is working hard and with diligence to see to it that our FLY, stuck on YoBit, is taken care of and a solution is being sought out for the 'Transfer from cold storage' problem a lot of us are experiencing. I would venture to guess that I probably have the most FLYcoin on YoBit (>100)(idiot), and would like nothing better than to be able to 'take my coins and run'. It'll happen, that day will come sooner than later.

It's not a time to panic or sell (although, I'm still buying so....) and I know and trust that these things have a way of working out. I'm sure there will be some inside the community (& outside, as well) who will 'nay-say' the current situation and paint a different picture. Their opinion, and right to question, of course, but I am satisfied (for now) with the information given by Vegasguy during a YoBit chatroom talk.

Superfly works, and hopefully more will join those ranks (me included). To PressTab...enjoy the vacation, hope to see ya when you return. To Vegasguy....press on, a solution can always be found. To Both, make peace!

I, on the other-hand, am going to sit down with a cold Rum-n-Coke and enjoy a beautiful, sunny day in Florida, USofA

Not sure about that...I was watching too. Vegasguy admitted that Tab did what he asked. Problem is Yo won't do the % thing. I think VG has the problem with Tab 'cuz he took off on vacation. It all remains to be seen.

MY PROBLEM IN THIS IS I WANT MY COINS! I don't care about a petty argument that will blow over. The community is suffering. So is a friendship.

Comon, Vegasguy...get it together....Please ask YoBit to release our coins and fix the problem down the road. Sometimes you have to wait for the solution to appear. The 'TEAM' shouldn't have to take the hit. You and Presstab will figure it all out.

Just my opinion....& I'm sticking to it!

Thank You

EDIT;Although my initial opinion still rings true, and after an extended chatroom encounter with Vegasguy, I feel I have a bit clearer picture of the events that occurred concerning YoBit keeping our funds in check. All is not lost, nor is it as bleak as I had first perceived. I will continue on a new post with further explanation.

Do we have a date or block number for PoW shutdown?
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Team FLY : v1.6 wallet released! The most trusted coin in crypto! on: November 11, 2015, 03:49:41 PM
NO....I tried to make these withdrawals before...but I think I got caught up in collateral damage (bad timing). I was advised to buy on the exchange as the price was cheaper than I could get through a 'private purchase'. Even so, there seems to be a great deal of conflict going on here and, with YoBit being the only source to purchase FLY...well, we are trapped in a duel we can't possibly win. Extremely frustrating for a currency I had such high hopes for. The price is dropping, but if I purchase more, I can't get at it anyway.

I believe that's referred to as "I'm screwed". I worked hard to get to a place where I could join the Superfly group, yet it remains out of my grasp. So unfair!

Tried to withdraw from Yobit to my wallet and the coins went into cold storage according to yobit. What does that mean? This is an indication for a new exchange.

Also so many still on wallet version 1.6.0 do we not upgrade to 1.6.1

You should definitely upgrade to 1.6.1

And DO NOT withdraw from YoBit for now because they have issue with additional 10% tx fee.

Now I am completely confused. I have ~ 84+ FLY that I have recently bought on YoBit, which means it has never been in my WinQT wallet. I am trying to withdraw it from YoBit now but it is stuck in the 'Transfer from cold storage' mode. Why am I confused? Well, if it isn't in MY wallet it isn't going to count towards Superfly. But now it's being said that I shouldn't take it out of YoBit (if I could). WTW ppl? And to top it off, YoBit is in a pissing match with vegasguy, which is probably why MY coins are stuck there to begin with. Too bad there isn't a clear-cut path through all of this nonsensical, egotistical BS. Can't we all just get along? And give some straight answers, PLEASE!

Thank you

Have u bought after our advice, to stop withdrawals from yobit till we found a solution?

@ joblo, Slava_K,

I have compiled just fine, in the past. Right up thru 1.5.69, then Community did an upgrade. Now, it won't even compile the files it used to. Not sure what my next step is. Might have to reload everything needed 'fresh'. Damn, I hate it when MS does it's upgrades.

Thanks for the info ppl.

HI,

I am trying to do a 'build' on the new ccminer, in windows, using Visual Studio Community but am getting errors when I try to load for a solution.

error reads;

W:\TEMP\ccminer-1.5.73\ccminer.vcxproj : error  : The operation could not be completed. Unspecified error

W:\TEMP\ccminer-1.5.73\ccminer.vcxproj : error  : One or more errors occurred.

Has anyone else had this problem and how do I correct? I know there is a working .exe in the 7z file but I like to build on my machine. What do I not have installed? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

It seems my original post has caused so much confusion I would like to explain a bit further. I was/am having trouble connecting to the pool. Here is what I was/am trying to do. I wanted to mine the 'Quark' algo...not the coin (payout to a different coin). While mining the 'Quark' algo, I entered a completely different coin/algo to be paid in (lets say Dash (x11), as an example). I set my GPU to the correct 'Quark' port of 4033. I entered my 'Dash' info (address), etc, but am getting the 'Authenication failure' error message.

Is that 'NOT' the way this pool operates? In order for me to mine a 'quark' algo, do I have to enter/mine to a quark address. If so, then your instructions are not very good and how do I get a pay-out to a different coin than what I mined?

I hope this clears up the problem and someone can now tell me what to do...other than tell me to read the friggin' directions. (not a noob, ya boob).

Thank You

yiimp doesn't do coin conversion so you mine a coin, not an algo, and get paid in that coin. It doesn't work like the old yaamp.

Thank You...that was such a simple answer which got right to the jest of the question. So much extra was made of the original....Much appreciated!!

Hey guys, so hearing from vegasguy that yobit and pretty much all other exchanges do not want to modify their code to work specifically for this new transaction fee that vegasguy had me implement.

I warned him in advanced that it would be tricky for yobit, and I thought he had already worked out the details with them in advanced.

I leave town for two weeks tomorrow and cannot handle any more changes for you all. There are plenty of my fellow crypto devs that should be happy to help you all come to a solution for this. Vegas guy seems to have hard feelings about this, but I was just doing what I was instructed to do and as an investor myself have always wanted the best for FLY.

If I can answer any questions, please let me know.

-press

Presstab,

Please tell me that, upon your return from vacation, you will come back and not leave us out to dry? I have been trying to buy more FLY so I can get into the 'Superfly' status, but if you aren't going to be back...then I'll stop buying. At this point, I can't see this being 'just vegasguys' coin. The rest of us have alot invested too. Are your returning?

Have a good vacation...hopefully, see ya in a couple of weeks. OK?

FYI;
PLEASE, don't forget to let those of us still trying to mine the last bit of PoW CBX available, as to when pure PoSP kicks in. Also, it might be a good idea to let the pools know, as well. We don't want any confusion concerning shares popping up and becoming an issue.
