The 980ti with my public private bins(0.1BTC) is faster than the quadro K6000. Will it be faster than the pascal chips? quark@32 MHASH  (The 1.7.5 release does 17MHASH on the same card 980ti@ 1290core.) I hope it is faster then pascal.  SP I'm getting a 970 gigabyte g1 ... how is the hashrate on that with that private release ? |

Normally the difficulty will drop when the coin is tanking, as people are moving over to other coins.

Is there a particular reason Decred is tanking? I assume someone else has a better private kernel out there, it's no longer on par with Ethereum. Maybe even perhaps 40%~ better then SPs release. Could also be getting raped by FPGAs already.
if you look close they are following the same cycle of pump and dump, between 0.004 and 0.006, i would buy massively at 0.004, it will probably return once again at 0.006, but don't forget that pos miners are dumping for free The bots on Bittrex are working HARD to push the price down. And a lot of people are just dumping too. Difficulty at 375,000 ...  |

On Yobit there is a long line of buy orders it seems every body there saw a lot of potential of this coin to get pump in the future already had 5000 dimecoin on my Yobit wallet some of it comes from free coins please donate more so people will be aware of Dimecoin
I have also thousands of DIME sitting on my wallet, I am hoping that the 26BTC barrier will be broken soon so that DIME can jump start now.Hope to read DEVs update here. Good luck. i tried 1.579 but it is slower than the djrm34 mod for neoscrypt a bit slowe
also more not validate nonce, djm34 version is better
try quark. Slower turn your oc off.  Here is what I get on the standard clocks: 1290Mhz core. release 79 is around 500khash faster than 78 on the 980ti windforce G1 gaming  Ok on the 980ti.... but the 750ti is less. |

Hrmm at this point I cannot remember the title but I remember it said tpruvot 1.7 or so. Obviously a scam since when after the fact I went to the github and saw tpruvot wasn't even on 1.7 - lol - hind sight is always 20/20.
Any chance you mined Oxen? Some people confused ccminer having malicious code instead of Oxen which was malicious. cryptomining blog really? that site is huge for mining, how they can not check for malicious code, are they stupid? what was the miner with the virus?
Apparently people can hide their malicious stuff with FUD crypters so the virus can't be detected and can be triggered anytime, even like months later. it's not about antivirus, it's about code checking, no virus can be hidden if you have the source and you know what you're doing They obviously publish a clean surce with dirty binaries from a the private, malicious source. People would be fine compiling the clean source but they rarely do it themselves on windows. That will be very interesting. It might even convince me to make the switch from 7 to 10. Doing that will give b g legal permission to download every file... look at your file photos .. the whole works.. to the best of my knowledge. I WILL NEVER... NEVER GET WINDOWS 10! Someone told me he is ... can't say. |

I read somewhere that you got "robbed" by someone copying your wallet dats and actually got into your system with teamviewer?!
There are a few people who got robbed that way (search reddit).
It actually seems teamviewer is the culprit here.
Imo someone is bruteforcing teamviewer accounts. The attacker only needs to bypass the loginlimit somehow ...
Don't forget the basic teamviewer password is only 6 letters, so even if you set a permanent login password that is way longer that basic 6 letter pw is still valid.
(the default 6 letter pw can be changed to a 10 letter pw including special characters)
I doubt it's Teamviewer because it increases the amount of time you have to wait to try again after unsuccessful tries but it's possible. But, you can change the default password's length to 10 characters which includes symbols in Options\Security > password strength. And you can also disable incoming connections from outside your local network. It also makes windows much more responsive and don't use your bandwidth and of course it's completely safe from the outside (Options\General - Incoming LAN connections > accept exclusively). In this case you can also use local IP addresses to connect for example in shortcuts like this which is pretty convenient: "C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer\TeamViewer.exe" -i 192.168.1.x --Password doesnt_matter_local_only_password You mean anyone can get into team viewer if they know the id and root path? |

Curiously SP, why don't you try a miner fee in addition to a paid fee? As in you release a private miner for .1BTC or 2% miner fee. People who really want it will pay .1 and people who don't have the money will mine on 2%. It's safe to assume there is no exclusivity here as we aren't paying $500 for a miner, so people who really want it will buy it anyway as .1 is affordable.
I think I will do this, and include all the algos in one miner. Does that mean all releases from now on or just the ones who donate get the one without the miner fee? |

It mines all algo's when called on.... it does quark then switchs to neoscrypt then x13 ect automatically.
Yea I know that, but if quark doesn't work it will just skip to the next profitable algo at least that is what it is doing for me. Have you successfully mined any quark using that batch file? Yes.. I don't understand what you mean.....is it not mining quark at all? Nah yours should be ok. I actually specified the hashrate of each algo in -p like you are doing and it works! Too bad I'm not at home with the rigs :/ Ok good you got it working. |
