No promises on the holos, but its something I'm discussing now with a couple of the people in the group today.  Some of the makers suggested it themselves.  I hadn't thought about it earlier, but its a great feature.

If any of the other makers that are signing labels are reading this, I'm sure we would love to have you add holos to your labels, if you wish to, and can spare them.

Unfortunately, we don't have a generic holo sticker. Our new holo sticker is experimental only, and it reads, "Buyer Funded." Wink

Chris
2162  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB BTC via paypal (TRUSTED for OVER 2 YEARS) - LEGENDARY Member -175$ Available on: June 01, 2016, 07:29:50 PM
Small BTC-to-PayPal exchange completed.

My third BTC-to-PayPal exchange with kashish948. The first two were more than six (6) months ago with zero chargebacks. Fast and smooth as always. Extremely satisfied. Highly trusted.

Thank you, kashish.

2163  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectable auctions can be posted in this section! Use [Auction] tag. on: June 01, 2016, 03:58:10 PM
Agreed. I love the idea of combining sections using the [Auction] tag, but the editing abilities of both the seller and the bidder are tricky and potentially dangerous issues. I hope a solution is discovered. (However, it wouldn't bother me to continue using the two separate sections.)

Chris

2166  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Tile tracking device! .05 BTC includes shipping! on: May 31, 2016, 03:37:20 PM
To anyone from the U.S. who has had experience shipping to India, is there anything I should know?

If this works, I will take more international orders  Smiley

Thanks!

A few of my favorite customers live in India, so I've shipped there quite a bit. (In fact, I'll be sending another package to India tomorrow.)

The most important lesson I've learned is to provide extra, EXTRA bubblewrap. For some reason, it seems the India post can be quite damaging to some of its packages. (I've had more than one Bitcoin Penny™ package arrive damaged to India, but to nowhere else in the world. One of my customers suspects the India postal system's rough handling, and he should know best since he lives there; Personally, I suspect the India customs department for opening the package and inspecting the goods before sending the package to the postal department. Either way, shipping to India can be tricky.)

With your product being small, thin, and lightweight, you can easily ship several together in a small 4x7" padded envelope. It'll likely ship via USPS as a "large envelope," and it shouldn't cost more than $3-5 without tracking, at that low weight.

As for international speed, almost all of my smaller padded envelopes have been arriving within 5-7 days to almost anywhere in the world.

Good luck!

Me
2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Websites accepting bitcoins on: May 31, 2016, 02:46:19 PM
suggest me some of the great websites accepting bitcoin

TheBitcoinPenny.com  Wink

(Sorry, I couldn't resist. Personally, I think Purse.io is a great idea. Haven't used it yet, but I hear good things. And there are the classics, like Overstock.com and TigerDirect. CheapAir too, if you like to travel.)

Chris

WAWW what a nice shirt !!  Shocked i'm jealous now !  Grin

The blank (unnumbered / unsigned) shirts are available on our website, along with my personal favorites -- the DAVE coin and the SN coin shirts. (I really like the DAVE shirt. I'll have to buy one for myself soon. I already have the SN coin shirt...and I L-O-V-E it! Grin)

And the numbered / signed shirts are FREE with the purchase of a 2016 Special Edition Roll. Wink

2169  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WAITING ON PACKAGE][EU][GROUP BUY] 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ on: May 30, 2016, 07:03:44 PM
Alright! I have picked up the package and the coins look amazing once again (well done Chris and company). This means that I'll need shipping addresses, which is why I've sent each one of you a PM. Please remember to tell me if I still have an item of yours that should be included in this shipment.

I highly prefer to send out all the packages right now, even if you are part of another group buy of mine. Mostly because of all the extra stuff I need to keep in mind and the extra hassle it creates.

EDIT: I forgot to purchase the envelopes, so I can't ship them tomorrow morning. Sorry. I'll get some tomorrow and ship them out the day after.

Glad to hear the package arrived safe and sound. Please let me know if there is anything more I can do. Smiley

Thank you, Mitchełł, and everyone else who participated in the EU group buy.

Regards,
Chris Smiley

Misconception #1:
Yes, you can check. That's surely someone you typped a bad address. What's the txID ?
No, it is almost impossible to "type a bad address" because every Bitcoin address has a built is checksum that prevents that.  If you take a valid Bitcoin address and change one letter the address in no longer a valid address and will not be accepted by the wallet or the network.

Yeah, I had that happen on my very first BTC payment. (I was buying some kind of bitcoin collectible from a forum member here, IIRC.) The seller sent me the payment address, but I couldn't get the payment to go thru. I thought it was my newbie error, and I almost gave up on the whole bitcoin thing. (After all, it was my first time using bitcoin, and it wasn't working.) Finally, the seller realized that the final character of his address hadn't cut-n-pasted with the rest. It was nice to learn about the checksum. I sleep a little better now. Smiley

Chris

Update

The package hasn't arrived yet, but I can see on the PostNL website how much we have to pay the package, which is €64.09. I calculated €61,55 so I messed up somewhere, so I'll cover that difference. Anyway, I'll make sure I've got the money when the package guy comes knocking.

The error was likely mine while calculating the value for postage. (I likely listed full values for the items instead of reducing those values to match our 10% forum member discount.) I insist that I cover the extra costs.

Mitchełł, please PM with the BTC difference and an address to send the funds.

Sorry about that, guys. Smiley

Regards,
Chris
2180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 49 days till the halving, time is flying now on: May 24, 2016, 07:28:18 PM
As much as I would love for the price to skyrocket I don't think it's gonna happen, the current more or less stable trend will probably continue. That said, the market will definitely be a lot more tense than usual, everyone will be monitoring the price, panic selling/buying is not off the cards. So it is definitely possible that we experience some spikes.

I've been thinking the same lately. Probably not much sudden increase to be expected. A slow rise, with a small spike here or there, maybe. On the other hand, the recent slow drop was totally unexpected by me. Wink

Me
