Maybe some war on fiat pennies, a la 1944 steel Steel BPs would be kind of cool. LOL Regards, Chris

Further question. so this isnt of the 10, nore the FS, will it be marked prototype? or P1? is it a 1/1
This one will be hand-stamped with PROTO. No need for 1/1 in my opinion, but it does sound like a fun idea. Why not? UPDATE: The copper prototype manhole cover is now SOLD.
Thank you again to everyone for your enthusiastic support for our little company and it's crazy projects! And remember, our new 2018 JULIE coins will be here in just a few short weeks! This is going to be our most exciting year yet, and it's all because of wonderful people like YOU! Regards, Chris

Funny you should say that, Ticked. This summer, we are planning to announce our TOP SECRET Summer Project for 2018 -- a matching paved road! The new concrete road is only 100 meters long due to obvious shipping issues, but it's still long enough to drive back and forth upon in plenty of Bitcoin Penny style! Regards, Chris Shipping a road, can't wait to see this one. The problem isn't shipping the road, it's finding the 20m x 20m postage stamp. Regards, Me

Damn! That is a beauty!
IS that pure copper or just the coating?
If it is a coating, does it also cover the reverse side? Can we see a photo of that side too please?
Thanks bro!
The antiqued copper finish is a high quality powder coat onto the cast iron manhole cover. Here's a quick indoor photo of the unassembled reverse side. (Outdoor photos in direct sunlight show the antiqued copper finish much better, IMO.) Once assembled, the smooth copper backplate will be hand-stamped with PROTO, much like how our factory seconds are stamped FS1, FS2, and FS3. (The PROTO will not be assembled until it's sold, since we don't know yet if it will require a privkey, funding, etc.) is this loaded? is this the same weight as the other ones you were selling bud?
Only the actual Limited Edition Manhole Covers (Nos.1-10) are pre-loaded with .01 BTC. However, I am happy to pre-load the PROTO upon request. It'll blend into the BP paved roads a bit. Perhaps if there were a good contrasting release with which to pave. Funny you should say that, Ticked. And here it is ! <snip> It's almost the same as on the doodle ! I really love my laptop how it is now. Thank you very very much Bitcoin Penny, digicoinuser and minerjones for giving me some cool stickers so I can personalize my student laptop.. Some students like it very much and ask me for stickers. I happily spread some around there. That's AWESOME! We're so honored to have a place on your laptop! Thank you. So many great stickers too! I love the python sticker. I know nothing about the programming language, but I'd recognize a Pastel Jungle ball python anywhere! (Or is that a Super Pastel Jungle? We'll have to breed it to find out. LOL) Oh! And save room on the other side, because we've just ordered our new 2018 coin stickers. Regards, Chris

I think they are absolutely awesome, and I think a book would be totally unique and extremely cool. I love that you included these with the rolls. Very clever and very fun. Thank you, frankbitcoin, and everyone else who supports our little company and its doodles. We appreciate you. Regards, Chris

TBH i don't know a lot about that but IMO you should just chill about it! i do know that you do not make that as an art but started as a fun little thing which we all have come to love. I just think, it would be cool to have a little book of those doodles like a part of my bitcoinpenny collection and how it will depict the history with little intro on how and why you started the doodles Good point, Sky. This book isn't about/for me; it's about/for you and everyone else. I lost sight of that. Thank you for reminding me. I am a little confused here though, are you gonna make the book with new doodles or put all the old ones ever made? I was thinking the later one Definitely the old / mailed doodles only. There are MANY doodles that were mailed to customers but never posted in this forum thread. Luckily, I scanned most of them, so if we print the doodle book, then you're sure to see several of those doodles. Regards, Chris

Those Gold penny doodles look amazing What happened to making that doodle book? I need it I love having my pair of Bitcoin Penny Doodles and I'd pay Bitcoin Cash for a doodle collection book. Chris, are you looking for a new project now that the manhole cover was a success?
Thanks for the kind words! Regarding the doodle book...The truth is that it's probably a quick and easy project. I have enough doodles. (Although, it's not a bad idea to wait until summer when I have a lot more to sort thru and choose from.) I have a pretty good informal outline for the book too. And I have a secret idea for it that I absolutely LOVE!!! Unfortunately, I do not have the will to make the doodle book project a reality. You see, I simply can't get over the feeling that releasing a book of my own doodles is just...arrogant. They're silly little doodles meant for momentary amusement, not real art. I'm in NO WAY a legitimate artist, and to release a book of my doodles feels like I'm pretending to be a real artist. It's hard to explain, but it feels unwarrantedly vain and self-absorbed to release a doodle book. OTOH... Maybe I just need to print the darn thing and stop worrying about if my doodles are art-worthy enough. Regards, Chris

Caveat: any coin/whatever maker shouldn't grade their own product.
Excellent, and very important, point. (Wait...all 2018 BP coins are MS71???) Regards, Chris

Agreed. Someone with years of coin collecting/grading experience + crypto collectible experience should start a small company to fill this niche. I'd use the service.

These are like finding the Golden Ticket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!!
What a compliment! I remember my first doodle, before my btalk days. I don’t know where it is but I can share that I’ve been rockin BTC Penny on the ol IPad since then. This feels like forever ago. The SW holo used as sticker showing strong noob skillz. https://imgur.com/a/nVBJtWon’t misplace it this time Thanks for allowing us to be featured on your iPad, ChiBitCTy! (No Cubs sticker?) And the new 2018 coin stickers will be here soon! (Free with every purchase, as usual.) We'll be sure to send a few your way. Regards, Chris
