But I don't really look for arbitrage. As I mentioned, my bet was $5. I prefer to either We gamble for funor win 23x5. Instead of "guaranteeing" $1 win. If odds were 2x it would be different I would definitely risk a further $50. Then I either win $55, or $45. Smiley

I agree with you. We gamble for fun, and trying to win over $100 is fun, while trying to win "guaranteed" $1 is rather depressing. I mean, if you can easily afford to lose $5, I totally understand what you did, and I think it was right. Counterbetting to have a tiny net profit is boring imo.

On the other hand I have doubt about you too - who would write garbage to make other feel small.
Everyone has their opinion - and you can't control the whole world opinion and you are not the only wise person to tell other what they should write. You have made a personal attack here.

It was rude. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. What I really wanted was to to make you open your eyes and see that the world isn't that evil as any dictatorship's propaganda making its listeners to believe. No one wants to start wars(vaccinate people with deadly vaccines, or whatever) and kill millions of innocent people only to reduce the world population and stuff. It's only totalitarian sect leaders and totalitarian governments tell their slaves that the only good force in the world is them. Don't be one of those slaves. You deserve a better life.
2164  Economy / Services / Re: POKER COURSES FOR SALE on: February 04, 2023, 10:53:21 AM

Yes, i buy 4 tickets. But i try to choose tournaments where it is enough to play until the final table, after that you prize is more than ticket.

If you don't rebuy/re-enter along the way, it is, but a couple of rebuys makes it not enough to be in the paid places to get your money back.

And while you fold cards your opponents think that you never bluff. Near the end of the tournament you can change strategy and the opponents still think that you never bluff.

Interesting. I'm using exactly the same tactic, and it works most of the time. It doesn't work only when your opponent has a really good hand. Then, of course, he calls your bluff and you lose.

If you play in one tournament it much easier to understand your tactics.

I'm not sure about this. In my opinion, if you keep changing your tactics all the time, it's impossible to understand it.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rejecting odd provider's limit on: February 04, 2023, 09:56:25 AM
The best way is to monitor gaming providers, because they're a different section but exist in all casinos, and that makes it look like all Casinos communicate with each other to detect players. I think if a gaming provider flags a player for being underage or fraudulent disputes they can easily track that person on other casinos using their detective systems. And this time the player may be unlucky and the account will get restricted after they've won some money. They could be a way other than changing IP, proxies, or even Kyc how these people determine a suspicious player. So, the way out is to change games and try focusing on games that has different providers. That way the user can be difficult to trace.

Keep in mind that there's another reason for someone being limited, and it's his/her gambling addiction. In some jurisdictions gambling providers are obliged to limit someone's stakes just because they are too big, or there are too many of them to consider them affordable for the gambler. So, providers put a limit on the stakes of such person, and then this person goes around forums saying he was limited because he was so good at betting and that casinos fear him.

I personally think that this is the main reason why someone is limited, but I have no proof of that, so, let's just keep in mind that there are such cases.

Great! I had a great read through @efialtis' post and his history of being a gambling affiliate. It was truly very very helpful. I will be sending him a DM, thank you. I wonder how involved he is with BTCGosu, I've also found that site to be extremely helpful.

I don't know whether you have already sent a DM to @efialtis(and if you have, and he hasn't reply you yet, please don't be upset, he's a busy man), but I want to tell you this: he's a trusted member of this community, and I personally have encountered with him on many occasions(via this forum and other sites), and it has always been a nice experience. He's a trustworthy guy, and I'm glad you've found the info on his site, BTCGOSU, helpful.

And, yes, it is his site. I remember him creating it and naming after his dog, Gosu. Smiley

This is really fun because it like hunting jackpot on slot using minimum bet. What’s your percentage on winning on doing this kind of bet and what’s your minimum odds to bet on pick like this. I do this sometimes on Basketball when the underdog team is behind by huge score hoping that they can still give an upset match in the late game but I always lose on an odds more than 20 or so.

If you place a single bet with the odds 20.00+, you will almost definitely lose your bet, but for multibetting it is not so certain. Like today I placed a multibet on Duelbits with 43.61 odds:

I'm hoping to win because all the outcomes I bet on are pretty likely to come true, and, also, I won a multibet with 101.00 odds once, so why can't I win with 43.61 odds? Smiley
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 01, 2023, 11:04:07 AM
~
Those information is very crucial as it can change the situation in case something like that happen, the availability of the players or someone that's part of the team will be absent, I think for now the data that AI will detect are those that are available from the information bank that the user will pinpoint.

Unexpected things are not or will not be available, something that also needed to consider when trying to get a better chance
of winning.

And the information bank should be updated on a regular basis. To use it for sports betting predictions it can't be a bank last updated more than a year ago. Such an AI can be used for many things, but not for sports betting.

~ As what others have suggested that the database should be updated for the AI to work better or have a higher chance of winning.

If we are talking about predictions for the upcoming events, it's not about working better or having a better chance of the right prediction. It's about the ability to function at all. Without the latest information you can still predict many things accurately, but not the outcomes of sports events.

~
I don't know how your friend intends to attract gambleers to his  website but I think is not a good business strategy. Most people want to have a variety of currencies they could use for gambling. Restricting the gambling site currency to a private token would discourage people from using it. But like I said, if your friend does the right publicity and the games on his platform are interesting he might end up attracting customers that would have no choice but to abide by his rules.

Exactly. In the end it all depends on the game they are going to offer. I personally think that the probability of the game being better than anything online is extremely small, but if you think of it, it's kinda possible. I mean, not for everyone, but for a relatively small group of people, a million people, for example. It's possible that for them in particular this game will be the best game ever, and, of course, buying a token to play it won't be a problem for them.
2172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: February 01, 2023, 10:01:08 AM
Capital has the most important role in all phases of the casino, both at the launch and throughout its existence. After all, if the casino has no money to pay big winnings it can lose not only its reputation, but also its existence. After all, the reputation of the casino is one of the most important components of this business.

High-profile bankruptcies in cryptocurrencies made people think about the mechanism to prove ownership of funds, and I'm sure that after a while any platform that respects its customers will use such mechanism, including casinos.

There's a lot of talks lately about the proof of funds, but I personally don't think it's that necessary. Let us suppose someone won that much that a platform don't have cash right now to pay him. If it's a reputable gambling platform they will surely pay out sooner or later to the winner even if they don't have the money right now. Scammers, on the other hand, can show that they have enormous funds, while having no intentions whatsoever to pay out a big win.
2173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 31, 2023, 02:37:11 PM
Stake brand visibility will be insanely huge in formula races so congratulations Stake! And actually contracts everyone holding crypto because things like these definitely increase adoption when more and more people get exporuse to cryptos by gambling.

I remember people rejoicing back in time when different cryptocurrencies sponsored events etc that they will help with adoption but this is next level stuff.

I agree. Stake accepts cryptocurrencies, so if Stake is promoted, crypto is promoted as well. At one time PrimeDice did a great job for Bitcoin adoption(and doing it till this day, btw), and now Stake here just doing a next level stuff. Good job, Stake!

Ever thought you'd be able to go head to head against Eddie to win some huge prizes? 🎁

Beat Eddie's multiplier every single week to share in a $25,000 prize pool! 💰

https://stake.com/promotions/promotion/stake-versus-eddie

This is a great promo with an amazing prize pool! I especially like that it is about the highest multiplier, not the highest win. Regular folks like us, not big sharks, have a chance to win something too. Wink
2174  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: January 31, 2023, 10:12:49 AM
~
Maybe casinos that don't have a community or ignore it because they already feel that their casino business is able to develop and run normally with so many users in the casino.
But it's true as you said if they don't create a strong and good community then in the long run they will lose in competition with other casinos that have long had a community and loyal users.
This should be one of the development methods that every casino should do in order to survive and compete with other established casinos.

As you know yourself, it doesn't matter how successful and popular among users you are, if you are not improving, you are loosing in the long run to your competitors. Not to all of them, but to those who care about their customers' experience was getting better and better.

~ Casinos certainly know very well how they have to convince their community not to move to another casino.

Gamblers will be trying new casinos all the time. You can't do anything about that. Your goal should be to make them want to stay on your platform, while playing on others too.

2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gates of olympus on: January 31, 2023, 09:08:15 AM
just wanted to share my story.
in my previous reply I said I was unlucky in the Gates of Olympus game, because several times I lost and didn't get the RTP that was set.

If we don't make millions of bets, we shouldn't expect getting the RTP. Theoretically, after 200 spins on the Gates of Olympus we can get exactly 96.50% of our money back(the slots' RTP), but, I think, it is as unlikely as hitting the jackpot. Smiley

but on this day I was able to melt the heart of the zeus grandfather and I was given 100x.
even though several times I played Gates of Olympus I was only given 3x at most. but unfortunately when i get lightning 100x i use only small bet of my local currency.

but I'm proud of myself for conquering grandpa zeus.
I made the link if someone wants to see my victory. the equivalent of $20 https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/Ip9HUophb4

Great win, mate! Congrats! To me, what matters the most is the multiplier. 100x is definitely a nice win. More victories over the grandpa Zeus in the future to you! Smiley
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 31, 2023, 08:29:10 AM
~ I feel like gambling is something I do when I feel lazy, I sit on my couch, open a tv series on netflix, half watch it, half not watch it, basically looking at my phone while the series are going on, and then I gamble on my phone for hours at the same time, and I am not even ware of the gambling I am doing, I am just having fun.

It's a nice way of winding down after a long day of work. I had some issues recently, so I had to be in doctors and worked after 6 pm, and I miss it direly, it is a good time to gamble, no strategy no nothing, just having fun.

Great experience, mate! First off, I wish you to get well as soon as possible, and, secondly, I'm really happy to hear that gambling for your entertainment is helping you to relax from your hard work. That's how it should be for every gambler.

And I absolutely agree with you on not turning gambling into a work. It should be there for entertainment, like in your case, and like, actually, it is for most gamblers around. So, of course, we shouldn't register on thousands of platforms expecting bonuses after not showing up. It would be like another job, I agree.
2178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 30, 2023, 02:26:23 PM
As far as I play gambling I only use the casino at point A, I think it's easier to do and more fun to entertain myself, Point B I've never done it and until today I haven't tried it, from a game perspective it might be very interesting because we will always competing with our opponents, but unfortunately I personally can't play and understand the game especially poker I can't play it, maybe I need time to study the game at point B so that betting in my game is more challenging and fun.

Don't worry, if you gamble just for fun, you can forget about PvP games, and you won't miss much. Smiley
I'd say, PvP games are for those who want to spend more time than just 30 minutes per week on online gambling. If you are satisfied with your Casino A option, just relax and carry on.

I will tell you one undeniable advantage of Slots over PvP games: with slots you never know what your winnings will be, I mean, they can be huge, while with PvP games it's capped by the prize pool.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 30, 2023, 01:20:26 PM
It's right, it's real. And I think that had been discussed a lot of time here in the forum.
Just like how news is easily accessed today thru social media applications, you don't need to go to the gas station for the local paper but instead just open your phone or computer, access your Facebook or Twitter, and voila, you have your news freshly made by analysts in sports and news outlets.
It's not different from how we accessed gambling now, and I can say many people are drawn back to it easily if ever they are on the losing side, chasing losses. That leads to addiction.
Everything now will be all up to you, the right discipline, make it just a hobby, not a habit, put a budget and don't go further than it.

As always, unless someone puts a gun to your head and forces you to gamble, everything depends on you. Around 180,000 people worldwide die  each year because of the excessive consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks, but the drinks are available everywhere, and they should be because of the benefits they bring to people in general.

Gambling is just one of many things that is very bad for you when abused, or, maybe "overused" would be a more appropriate word. If we are greedy, and it's never enough for us, we will find a way to get the thing we are craving for, regardless of its accessibility.

but back to our luck later on january 28th. as we have seen these days bitcoin is only running in the price of 22k - 23k as reassuring if the price prediction will only fall between it. but if my prediction is that bitcoin will be more than 23k

I think I know the winning price. Smiley

Most of the earlier predictions, including mine, were too pessimistic, as we can see now. But my second one wasn't that bad. Smiley

Now it's hard to say who will win because there were predictions by some inactive(in the forum) users in the thread, but whatever decision will be, I'll accept it, because I respect this simple law: "Your money - your rules".

Congrats to the winners, and thank you, Bitcasino.io, for the Bitcoin Predictor contest!
