Let us be realistic to ourselves, is good to extreme to wait for government to make provision of every in a country, sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities but in some points government keep adamant of making employment be visible and available to the mass,  on my instinct I said without government employment man can survive, I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

If you think you are doing it with out government support, you are wrong, in my opinion. It's government that provides you with protection from both external(those that might attack your country) and internal(those that might attack your business) enemies. It's thanks to the government you can buy the equipment without being scammed, and it's thanks to the government you can return it and take your money back if the quality is bad.

But if you just mean that we shouldn't wait for the government to provide us with proper job, I totally agree with you. Be the master of your own fate. And I wish you all the best regarding your business.

You don't have to wait till the government provide you with job before you can get independent of yourself, one need to employ himself, learn trades, makes sales, create values, render service and engage in any legal means of getting money, not everyone working under government were successful in life, we have a number if entrepreneurs being successful in life after they have learnt to be independent in whatever they do.

We can survive without the government up to a point. But no matter how we put it, the government's role is very essential to our day-to-day lives. If they are not active or do not put social amenities in place, it will be kind of hard for us to set up our businesses. As the above member has mentioned, we need them to provide a few security measures, human rights laws, etc. Without those laws to govern us to some extent, we will be living like canivorous animals; we will always want to feed on the next person's holding. 

When it comes to job creation, we just need a little bit of support from the government to do that. Statistically, private individuals are the highest employers of labor, which means the job creation part is gradually leaving the government's hands. If one depends on the government for employment opportunities before he or she can make a living, then that person might end up being lazy and poor for the rest of his life. Government  Job creation can never be enough for its entire population. So making and earning a living is in your own hands. Learn a skill, look for what you are good at, and create your own job.

Higher college education is meant to prepare you to face your future and be useful to your society. Attending school with the aim of getting government job is absolutely wrong and that's why especially in my country, entrepreneurs skills are mandatory in all higher institutions in order to reduce the expectations and reliance on government. Government itself is suffering from both external and internal debt and as such can not carter or employ everyone. However, it's the duty of government to provide enabling environment for people to practice the entrepreneur skills learned during their school days or outside the school and as well as providing security for them and their property.

Why wait, why not create your own jobs. College graduates have knowledge and a creative mindset that can be used as motivation to start a business. The business world can be an option for young graduates to raise money, of course there are twists and turns that must be passed before achieving success.
Need to make the right decisions to be successful, working in the government will be stuck with all the rules that apply and forever you will take orders from superiors. You can make your own rules if you have a business, no matter how small the business you start, you are the boss.

If we look at the wealthiest people in the world today they are business owners. This generation are so lazy that they don’t want to build a business on their own. Aside government jobs one could also work under private companies or businesses although it is not secure but sitting around looking for white collar jobs should be discouraged.

So many countries rely more on capitalism this days which actually draws the line that acquiring school education doesn’t necessarily mean you’re guaranteed a job. The sole responsibility of the government is to provide an environment where it is safe for everyone to run there business and not restrict some the access to either grants or loans.

Yes, waiting for the government to provide everything is not a good investment strategy. Everyone can create their own opportunities and success through learning, skills, efforts and creativity. Entrepreneurship is a great way to create your own opportunities and make money. However, it is also risky and requires a lot of knowledge and experience. Therefore, you need to prepare carefully, learn and evaluate the market, products, competitors, as well as regulations related to business. Because you have not yet adapted enough to the current working environment, I do not like the slightly negative way of looking at the problem, although I can see that the job is facing many difficulties for employees, but try asking questions if there is no problem. The management history of the government apparatus shows whether people have the capacity to help each other through difficult periods of the economy. And never deny that it is important that the government has a sustainable economic development strategy and is accountable to the people to ensure a better future for everyone.

Yes and no depends on your career aspirations. If you want to be a politician you need to be a civil servant. If you want to be in the military, you need to work for the government. So in this sense, you need the "government job" to reach your aspirations and by extension survive.

However, you do not need to depend on the government to be an entrepreneur or to start your business. Although, you may need SME loans or grants from the government to kick-start your idea, business, or enterprise. So in a sense you are depending on the government.

Despite this, to survive in the pure sense, you need the government to provide an enabling environment, to make policies that are favourable for businesses to grow etc. So you see, the government is needed to survive whichever way we choose to look at it.

You just have to be very resourceful to be independent. You seem to have managed to put up a business and then have workers under your wings so that's quite an achievement already and it's you who create jobs for someone to make money. You do have the resources.

But for some of us, we hit rock bottom first and then hit again over and over.
Somehow the government can be the leech that sucks blood from us. But for them to have something to suck they need to provide jobs, build infrastructures, and send men to war are just examples of what they would do.

Looking at government in our country is just like watching your in a mirror or over water down to you. Government are not really helping matters because they fails to create employment opportunities for her citizens due to much population in the country which they can't handle anymore to accommodate the rate of people that have graduated from Universities without job. Yes, of course, with the concept that the government is also quite involved in providing existing facilities that most people may not be aware of, such as stabilizing the prices of goods on the market for business needs and as you said, that is, from a security perspective, road infrastructure for access, we buy materials for construction. make products and so on that most people don't realize that the government also provides convenience with such facilities, from this perspective I also think that we cannot be separated from dependence on the government.

The government has indeed provided jobs for people but the problem is that the competition for jobs provided by the government is very tight. Meanwhile, many apply for the job and many cannot be accepted at the job. And even though the private sector also provides jobs for them, it will also not be able to accommodate these people.

Government job is not for everyone because of its limited slot so we should not rely on it to get our salary. However government is responsible for bringing more jobs in the country by attracting private investors to create business that will bring jobs to the country. Having our own business is not bad but it’s still useless without the government help to boost the economy because this will bring more money to its citizens that will purchased your own product.

Perhaps you are living on a country which government job is premium that makes you incorporate survivability to government jobs.

Even though what you say is partly true by not having too much hope in the government, but on the other hand, in all current affairs, especially when talking about work, I think there is still their interference in it.
Maybe you can do any kind of work without government-related agencies, such as freelancing or trading in crypto, as many do, but on the other hand, there are other things, such as facilities provided there, and the government also has a stake in that, so I think this like this, even though we don't think of the government, we still can't let go of what the government is doing with the policies they have.

Simply considered, a smaller government could be good but at the end of the day it cant be zrro. I am one of those people who want minimum government (liberal) but also spend on what is needed. Healhtcare, education, police, fireman, military. There are some things which is needed, USA pays so much and yet doesnt even have healthcare, thats not it. Spend the salaries of excess workers of government towards startups and lesser taxes and country would blossom that way.
