Not fighting for more than three years in octagon is serious setback for anyone including Jones.

I think that ship has sailed now though, don't think we'll see Francis again in the UFC, which is an absolute shame. Assuming, Jones does well against Gane of course. Izzy being the latest one, alright he was significantly underweight against Jan, but it still goes. Jones, might not be the same fighter. However, due to his wrestling focused approach, I think he'll transition a lot better than Izzy did who really struggled with that threat of a takedown, and not having much of a ground game. Izzy didn't perform well in adding weight against Jan. He is better in his current division, he caught Periera and was about to drop if it weren't for the bell Pereira would have been knocked out. Sure to expect a trilogy when in the rematch Izzy wins. It would cost a lot more the bring Ngannou back, it's been reported that he refused the $7M to stay in UFC.
