2161  Economy / Services / Re: FortuneJack.com NEW Campaign – Earn 0.12 BTC!!! Weekly Payments. on: January 14, 2015, 01:59:01 PM
Well, it would be nice to know the new terms.
2162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dead. The year of the Altcoin on: January 14, 2015, 01:55:25 PM
It looks like that is what is happening. We were all brought here on a dream and an ideal.

As I've seen here in reality that ideal is greed and those dreams are about getting rich quick Smiley

Quote
BTC has rested on the laurels for too long and only the truly innovative will rise. Big money could come into this crypto space if btc gets knocked out and make a coin that would be a wet dream to all of us. There is so much bs and rigging going on in this space right now. We would all embrace a truly innovative crypto that the mainstream would support. Some of you big holders maybe saddened by what is going on but I am excited. Crypto isn't going anywhere. Its just changing and evolving. I am excited to see what the future holds.

What you said is mostly right but don't forget that most rigging and BS are going on here in the altcoin space.
BTW there are plenty of truly innovative Gen2 cryptos are out in the wild. Pick one.
2163  Other / Meta / Re: Should Ponzis/HYIP's be moved "games and rounds"? on: January 14, 2015, 01:47:35 PM
Games and rounds are mostly honest stuff. Not all, but many ponzis/HYIP are not. A separate child board would be enough.
2164  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fooled by Cryptodouble ? on: January 14, 2015, 12:32:43 PM
They will be manipulating the market prices soon enough ...  Angry

Normal flow of business on altcoin exchanges like cryptsy poloniex and bittrex. Sometimes they are not manipulating but dictating the prices for certain alts. You can see P&Ds almost every day over there.
2165  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fooled by Cryptodouble ? on: January 14, 2015, 12:28:16 PM
he did 100% per hour, not per day. It's actually 24% interest per day Wink

Btw, check your PM's! Smiley

Even that's (24% per day) possible for someone got involved in all the more prominent pump and dump groups with enough funds.
2166  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fooled by Cryptodouble ? on: January 14, 2015, 12:00:18 PM
we will - and you are right if someone gets robbed in this way you have to ask yourself HOW intelligent i am  Grin

i made money in the real stockmarket - and i really know that over a period of time it is possible to double and triple Money cause i have proven this myself

so i fall for that because they are saying they are traders and i know People personally that get payouts - so at this Moment thing still looks to good to be true and we had not gone there

but it is different if someone says OK you are only paid if you find another dumbster (although this is illegal in most countries) or if someone stated he or she (in this case it is a man) is trader ande ran with the Money

there are different ways to get this guy - and we will try all of them - one after another

AND ... i not feel harmed because of your words - probably your are totally right

Yes, that's a problem here. Everybody keep saying that 1% daily interest is surely a scam, but to be honest I wouldn't be happy with my own performance if I'd make only 1% per day on bittrex, however I used to be overcautious and I'm not a trader Smiley. Even a simple ping-pong trading bot can do that. So I think professional/semi-professional  traders are especially vulnerable for these kinds of scams as they know that it is possible to double money even within a day on a such volatile market as btc and its alts.

Anyway, I wish you good luck with your quest Smiley.
2167  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 2015 The year of the Ponzi, BE WARNED! on: January 14, 2015, 11:48:04 AM
What happens if the operator pays interest but stop just before the first investor breaks even?

In that case everyone loses, including people who invested first.

There is no way to know the operator isn't going to run off with the money before paying interest and no way to tell if the people claiming to be paid interest are not the operator or working with the operator.

Just because an operator is open about the scheme being a Ponzi doesn't make the scheme honest or any less risky.

The truth is that some time in the future the scheme will collapse and/or the operator will run off with the investors money.

A "honest" scam artist is still a scam artist.

If the operator is a crook then of course everybody going to lose. But that can happen with pretty much everything if money gets involved.
Everybody knows (or should know) that a ponzi scheme going to collapse sooner or later. However if the participants know that they are "investing" into a (honest) ponzi instead of thinking that they've invested into some sort of trading or whatever business operations (hidden ponzi) then they know what can they expect and plan accordingly. I they still willing to gamble that's their responsibility.
BTW you are right on that this "honesty" is only a limited kind of honesty and should be used as "relative honest in comparison with some others" Smiley.
2168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gems will change everything. on: January 14, 2015, 11:26:44 AM
I didn't say it will change everything I asked the question. Your role in a discussion is to know what we are talking about and have an opinion.

Do you want to know where babies come from too?

You said exactly that "Gems will change everything" I thought you going to support this claim. I'm aware of gems and its features but I don't see why it would be a game changer. Interesting stuff indeed, but I've seen here a lot of similarly good ideas fading into oblivion, or being unable to break through.

Yes, I'm definitely interested in "where babies come from", and I keep researching this question Smiley.
2169  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiCircle.com Official Thread on: January 14, 2015, 11:06:38 AM
Still seems to be down. Could you estimate something when it will be back, pls?
2170  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 2015 The year of the Ponzi, BE WARNED! on: January 14, 2015, 11:05:24 AM
Not true.

If 10 people invest $1000 each and the promoter runs off with the money, everyone loses their money.

And even if the promoter pays out interest, they will have to make 10 payments before the investor breaks even.

If people want to invest, it's their money they can do what they want with it, but there is no such thing as a honest Ponzi; they are all scams.

There are honest ponzi games. If the operator declares that his/her game is a ponzi and the last investors will lose money, then every participants will know what going to happen and then they can  invest accordingly. Sites where the operator babling about external profit sources and investments are the really dangerous ponzis.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gems will change everything. on: January 14, 2015, 10:57:12 AM
Would you mind to elaborate your claim a bit more?

Gems the cryptocurrency will change Cryptocurrency. ie It will break into the mainstream and all the effects that would bring.

Almost every alt around here claiming what you wrote Smiley. When I said "elaborate" I meant support with some more detailed stuff, pls... I wasn't asking for more marketing BS.

2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take refuge in bitSILVER on: January 14, 2015, 10:46:45 AM
Why not in real silver or gold? OK, it's bulky and heavy but I can play Scrooge McDuck with it if I want Smiley.
2174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are the US and Russia about to become great allies? on: January 14, 2015, 10:42:19 AM
Unlikely. Russians used to sort out these kinds of issues on their own.
2175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lost $100k in 24hrs! Btc CRASH!! on: January 14, 2015, 10:39:26 AM
Virtual losses. Don't panic sell and you'll have a chance to recover your then non existing losses Smiley. Maybe I'm wrong but BTC is too big to fall this early.
2176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can u still have reasons to keep ur bitcoin? on: January 14, 2015, 10:30:47 AM
As I've got in early and spent only buttons and peanuts on my coins I'm still massively in the green. After a dramatic downtrend we might see a dramatic correction Smiley. So I'm holding Smiley.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome new Early Adopters on: January 14, 2015, 09:51:54 AM
Many ppl speculating about an elongated downtrend this year too down to the 1xx or even to two digits. Anyway buying now will be profitable in the long run.
2178  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bugs in ponzi script. on: January 14, 2015, 09:46:09 AM
Would be interesting to see the script and the database to find out if it's something with the API or the DB.
2179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Falling Directly Timed for Launch of Ethereum on: January 14, 2015, 09:03:55 AM
If you haven't noticed. It's going to be XPY. Majority of people are moving fund to XPY because that's more profitable than any other coin out there. It's going to replace BTC (May be) but that's next coin in the list after BTC.

Ethereum will be there but just as an another altcoin.

Why?

Because XPY has  community, billions of $ for development and solid user base. They've achieved what any other altcoin could only wish for. They're going to be no.1 by March.

Highest volume in major exchange since the launch.  Cool

Also, Keep in mind even at its lowest Bitcoin still has 5000x more value than your shitcoin.  Grin

I really like optimistic people Smiley. Don't want to be a party popper but the only thing between the current price and XPY@0.001 is a promise from Josh. But yeah he's good with promising things... Smiley
2180  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: "Investing" in ponzis is not a good idea. on: January 14, 2015, 08:50:26 AM
Even the most honest ponzi can go bust if there are not enough investors/gamblers... and most ponzi schemes are quite far from being honest.
