2181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Special reasons for bitcoin purchase on: June 15, 2022, 11:23:14 PM
The reasons why so many persons invest in bitcoin is the depreciation, centralization and the appreciative aspect  in bitcoin.
Surely? Centralization?
Read this:
https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2022/02/17/bitcoins-value-depends-on-its-decentralization/

Maybe you meant its volatility?

Well, whatever you meant, in my opinion, there are several types of person who are investing in Bitcoin:
- The one who really knows Bitcoin much, the trust value, and also its specialty as cryptocurrency, are the one who is holding Bitcoin for the long term, with a high trust that the value and market cap will always increase.
- The one who refers to profits. The long-term holding of Bitcoin will always bring high profits for its holders. Although the value of 1BTC will be always 1BTC, but in certain time after long-term period of investment, the value compared to fiat will be highly increased. And I think this profit is the most reason everybody wants to hold Bitcoin for the long term.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 15, 2022, 11:13:53 PM
Hello good day to all the members in this forum, Did you know that even if you win at gambling, you lose as well?
This seems like a basic thing in gambling. We are actually losing much more than winning, but once we are winning, we will be very happy.  Grin Grin
Moreover, if the one who is addicted to gambling they may lose 100x and only win 1x, but they consider playing gambling again and again because they believe they will win someday even having lost much, very much.
Is this related to the psychology area? of course yes.

And about the other relation is how we are managing our money when gambling. Sometimes, gambling will make us forget about how much money we have spent. But if we have good money management, we will know when to start and when to stop it. That is why we must be able to control ourselves in gambling.
Not everyone will always lose much and fewer profits. Many also can win more than losing. But this will depend on how able you are in gambling, managing the risk, playing, and also managing the emotion.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 14, 2022, 11:41:14 PM
Every bad accusation will always give influence to certain platform, but how the accusation will be ongoing will depend on the platform itself in solving the problem. Even a big casino or platform or companies in the real life will also have bad accusation, bad problem, but once they can overcome the problem, they will gain trust again.
So, this may be normal and many casinos may also face this problem, because nothing is perfect. However, we can see how professional are they from how they hold and solve the problems wisely
2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trading Volume an important metric ? on: June 14, 2022, 11:37:00 PM
How important is trading volume when trying to decide whether to invest in a new project ? The higher the better ? But if people are "selling off" like crazy wouldn't that also mean a high trading volume ?
It is exactly important.
Simply,' how can we invest in something that nobody wants to buy the coin or token?
If we are buying and investing in a certain coin, and we are expecting to get high profits from it, but there is very small trading volume, it means that there may be small hope for future profits mate. How can people trust a token or coin which only small or even nobody will buy them right now and moreover in the future?
As here like what said is true:
You should be compared to the order books.
Many new shit coins or tokens will have very high order sales, but very small order buy with a very high gap. This kind of investment will be very risky.
2185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if your bank card is crypto friendly on: June 14, 2022, 11:32:38 PM
I have tried this, but it's stated
"We don't have enough data"
Maybe, this is not available for debit cards from my country?
btw, although it is available, I don't think that it can be used for purchasing any items in my country due to the regulation. Yeah, crypto is legal only as a commodity asset but not legal as a currency in my country. So, it has been clear here.

BE AWARE OF THiS PHiSHiNG SCAM
I know that you may do this to prevent any phishing or scam. But wisely, maybe you can check and crosscheck every link at first before saying this.  Smiley
2186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 14, 2022, 11:19:29 PM
The market is red, and every cryptocurrency is crashing. Is it better to wait for a further drop in Bitcoin and Ethereum, or would DCA be better?
So far, I am still watching, but now I am preparing for DCA because the BTC price has started to drop closely to $20k, maybe it will be under $20k soon??

What will happen next?
Once more, we will not know if the price will keep dropping or not, but seeing the period and the market crash, it may be still ongoing. Just watch them and control our emotions.

How long do you think the market will take to recover?
Let's see in 2024  or 2025 Grin Grin Grin

2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODLing strong! on: June 14, 2022, 11:15:28 PM
because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can HODL forever, are the ones who do"
People may believe, people may not believe.
People may be able to do, some people may not be able to do.
People may like much, some people may not like it
People may think it is a super worthy holding, some people may think it's too risky and wasting,

It's all about the point of thought, views, and consideration. Moreover, everyone has different life condition.
Holders or traders will be valuable if we know who we are and where we are exactly. Each will give us profits as what we are focusing on.

HODLing since 2013, never sold a satoshi.
Awesome.

2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 13, 2022, 11:58:23 PM
It is necessary to hold when the market is in its downturn or move towards stable coins.
Exactly, HOLD will be worthy enough (if our coins are not shit coins). But once they are shitcoins, we can only wait if they can even survive during this bear market or not. But if we are holding at least top coins, moreover coins like BTC and ETH, it will be worthy in the future, with fewer worries.
Holding some stable coins is also needed for me, personally, this is needed moreover when we are going to add more coins to our portfolio during this crash or bearish market. Because the bearish market is the time we can add our assets and then hold for the long term, at least to prepare for the next bullish era. But once more, watch out for what coins we are going to buy and hold. Shitcoins are worthless, so better to stay away from these.
2189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Less FOMO more Buying on: June 13, 2022, 11:53:52 PM
Grin Bitcoin is at its most exciting season again with the drop in price comes with two perspectives, in this season you will hear more of these two words 1 FOMO 2 Buy the dip,
The problem is because we even don't know at what rate it will be exactly the dip  Cheesy
We buy today because we think that the price is at the dip, but later, the price will keep dipping  Grin
This is what happen so far. But, the thing to remember is as you said, never follow FOMO. For us, maybe we are able to differentiate the FOMO, but for newbies, it seems that they cannot, or they don't want to.
Moreover, we know that most newbies are coming here because of that situation, expecting instant high profits without losing, but this seems to be difficult to have the situation like what we are expecting.
That is why it may be good to invest little by a little while also watching how the market will be ongoing because this bearish is not ended yet, it is still continuing.
2190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 13, 2022, 11:49:21 PM
Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?
This is the era of the Bearish market and I think that this crash will not end here. There is still a possibility to crash again until it reaches the dipping price. Although no one will know how much exactly the dip will be in this bearish season. This is likely still in the cycle of the bearish-bullish market, so no need to panic. We have been experiencing this several times. Moreover in 2018, the market was also the same, like this. I also still hold several coins that have been dropping very significantly, none to do right now besides waiting for the next bullish era. Yeah, I believe that after this bearish market, the bullish will come again. But we must be still very patient because the bullish market will not probably come in several months later, but years. Commonly it will be starting after the Bitcoin halving if we see the graphic so far. But once more, this is a crypto market where there may be some certain possibilities and surprises.
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 11, 2022, 09:59:10 PM
Finding a replacement for lewandowski won't be that easy, cause he is a world-class striker, a striker that knows how to position himself against his opponent, and also knows how to control the ball against his opponent. He's really a good player, a well commited player, his impact in the team (Bayern) can't be easily replace. Though Bayern still have good players that can help the team defend their title, but It won't be that easy for them without lewandowski.
Yes, that is it. It will not be easy to find a player like him. But, he has decided to leave the club this season, so there is no choice again. But btw, sometimes, a club may not need a big player who can play his best in the club, but some new players may be more matched to play with the other players, strategies, and also tactics of the coach which may result in better although it is probably very little to have. Like Aubameyang who has found his best club and team in Barcelona and he becomes a great player in Barcelona although he couldn't prove it in his previous club. But once more, if we are looking at the performance, Bayern should try hard to find their best striker again to replace Lewandowski's position.
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 11, 2022, 09:57:30 PM
Maybe this could happen. as we know that the world of sports betting is sometimes very influential and involves a lot of big people and high-ranking people in the world. There are many of them who bet money or whatever in sports betting. So it could be that they do some match-fixing which sometimes makes us sports bettors very surprised by the results. but of course we cannot accuse or prove it easily.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 11, 2022, 09:54:00 PM
Messi's performance this season has been like that of an average player. Messi should not be expected to perform extraordinarily well now.
Maybe this is influenced by his opportunity to perform and also work with other players. What is certain is that his playing points at PSG may not be the same as when he was at Barcelona where Messi became the point of contact for goals. While at PSG not. So he also can not play optimally. Likewise with Ronaldo, his brilliant career at Real Madrid could not be continued when he was at Man United. Indeed this often happens in the world of football to any player.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Online Casino Games: Which do you prefer? on: June 11, 2022, 09:51:15 PM
.. he'd bet on overall outcomes within the game. Sadly, he has lost more times than he won. One day, everything changed when he discovered online crypto casinos. It was as if a new world had opened up. He would spend most of his time on slots, dice, table, and games...
...He told me that aside from being able to receive payment in bitcoins, he loved the instant winnings that the online casinos offer. Secondly, online casino games are less stressful than sports betting.  He explained that sports betting requires knowledge of the sports and sophisticated strategies to win.
Actually here are the answers. Someone may like sports betting much than other online casino games. Yes, sports betting of course needs more analysis and also predictions than only guessing. It needs some considerations also, not only about betting on clubs that we like or not but the chance of wining at the time. And sometimes, the result of sports betting is not matched with the expectation based on analysis on the paper, sometimes, winning can be suprising.

On the other hand, casino games online may have some varieties. As long as we have the skills and ability to play, we may have higher chances to win. But once more, each otehr has its risks and also challenges to face.
the best way is by cosnidering ourself ability, inwhat cases we are actually mastering, not folowing others.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good list for longterm investment? on: June 11, 2022, 09:46:02 PM
Once more, we cannot guarantee if they are good or not for the long term. But at least, several options that you have listed are good choices because of their track records.
1/6 Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin of course always becomes the first choice for long-term investment and I think that we can put more percentage of Bitcoin investment over altcoins.

1/6 Ethereum (ETH)
1/6 Polygon (MATIC)
1/6 Aave (AAVE)
Additionally, the following lists are also considered good optios. However, good or not, altcoins always have higher risks to investors. Among these three, Ethereum may become the fewer risk. Well, I will personally add BNB for the future long term investment because of its utility and also fundamentals by Binance.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 11, 2022, 09:42:25 PM
2. It is secure.
This matter actually does not guarantee 100% security. Moreover, this is something digital where there are also concerns about hacks. Secure or not will depend on how we choose a wallet, store data, and also treat it. Moreover, we have seen several cases of Bitcoin hacks or losses because of our own mistakes or not.

7. Bitcoin has (had) low transaction fees.
Yes, fortunately, we have several options of sending Bitcoin networks. Moreover, if we are using lightning or Segwit. But btw, there is still several gambling platforms that also use flat transaction fees and they are high fees. This may only happen in come certain platforms only

1.Bitcoin is volatile.
I personally can't say that volatility is part of the disadvantages. Volatility sometimes can be one of the advantages as long as we know the right time to utilize it. But yes, this is volatile and risky.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 10, 2022, 11:16:16 PM
If a gambling platform requires KYC, comminky they will ask for picture of hinslef/herself holding ID. But that is KYC and ut is still pro and con about KYC requirement.
However, even if a gambling platform require KYC and ask for that kind of photo, we may ask about how perfect they can evaluate the data? How if they are fake one.
But once more, KYC doesn't guarantee that we can get legit gambling platform with high security. At least, we have tried to do that. How secure our ID data and How secure the gambling platform is.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning in a bear market on: June 10, 2022, 11:11:01 PM
Hi everyone, since the bear market is upon us is there any kind of staking that's good for a bear market or staking are generally bad in this type of market condition? Can be APY or APR, drop your earning strategy in this market condition.
I have ever thought to stake in Binance but the profit is too small for the amount that I have. So, I am not thinking of doing that, better to trade shortly, but not for daily.
However, if you have enough amount, actually the apy is good enough. So far I only use Binance. But you can also check other top exchanges that give you high APY, Btw you can check on PancakeSwap, they give high APY, but they are DEX.
2199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate predictions? on: June 10, 2022, 11:01:54 PM
Just so so
For, prediction is a prediction, someone may predict more reasonable and closed to the rate. And some other may also have it in other times or period.
Whatever the orediction, we should not believe them 100%, should we? Because we must also combine with our own knowledge to also analyze the market and pull the prediction
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 10, 2022, 10:55:35 PM
~
I guess from the definition of it, the hype really plays major role in these tokens since it is almost about being a fan of football clubs.
You're welcome.
But really sorry in advance because I have jist been aware that I put a wrong link, but I have edited it.

Yes, briefly at that time, it's likely hype enough so that many developers created fan tokens. Now, the hype is ended.
As other hype projects, not all can survive, we can just see how they can survive during the bearish era and how they will reach again their ATH. Some may be still worthy, but some are shittokens.
