That is one hell of a win, even betting 1 bitcoin is nerve racking so that amount being rolled is good to see and congrats to that man!
2182  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of Bitcoin casinos that offer games with a progressive jackpot on: December 05, 2015, 11:31:29 PM
This is a really useful list, I know that when I look to play slots I look for ones with the progressive jackpots.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: December 05, 2015, 11:17:16 PM
I have only recently discovered dice sites through this forum, I have started to spend a bit more time on them.  It is true that you can become unfocused and panic bet if you spend too long on the same thing, this has happened to me with poker and the slots
2184  Economy / Gambling / Re: download mad roller bot and listen how to money on dice on: December 05, 2015, 06:41:07 PM
Nobody does anything or gives anything for free so why share this? good luck to whoever tries this as you will need it.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: December 05, 2015, 05:44:57 PM
Just as a hobby but sometimes can get a bit carried away and end up losing too much chasing a big win.  It would be amazing to be able to make a living out of gambling but sadly I cannot see that happening for too many people.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2015, 05:40:31 PM
I think bitcoin and gambling is a good combination, there are some negatives to it also.  Because bitcoin is what it is there is space for people to get away with setting up scams, taking bitcoin and having little to no comeback.

bitcon is open to people of all ages and gambling at its core is an addiction and can be very dangerous.  As a lot if not all bitcoin gambling sites have no verification this allows everyone of any age to gamble which is not always positive.
2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoin address you have right now? why you have more than one? on: December 05, 2015, 05:26:39 PM
I have a few, some on the exchanges also and they can change from time to time but I don't really need hundreds it's easier for me to just have a few.
2188  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: PassiveDice - Bitcoin Dice Bot System - Let the bots do the work for you on: December 05, 2015, 12:39:01 PM
So today is Friday and so far no changes made to the site so not looking that great right now.
PassiveDice last active was on 3rd December.
Give them a few more hours, I hope they won't scam though. If so, I'm sorry for your loss. Sad

We will see.  It is always a gamble in these threads it's a shame if they are scammers as it was a pretty cool idea renting out bots.
2189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any news on whether the Queen or Vatican accept Bitcoin / Crypto on: December 04, 2015, 10:54:02 PM
It is quite sad really because we all know that if Kanye West tweeted and told everyone to look at bitcoin it would have more success then the pope doing it.

2191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum to start on trading on: December 04, 2015, 06:23:54 PM
I would not put up more than you are okay to lose.  If trading alts 0.01 is good enough to find your way about, one tip is do not be greedy, if you are backing a coin that has risn 300% in 24 hours and you have made some profit you should sell them pretty soon as it will at some point fall back down.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "sidechain" but not really... on: December 04, 2015, 05:28:43 PM
I thought they are only usable in the US.
That is wrong. Of course there are some limitations that vary from company to company (e.g. XAPO - List of countries that will not work). However, they can be used in a lot of countries all over the world. I know from the local section that I moderate that people have been successfully using it in Croatia.

I think more recently Coinbase has started a debit card but this is for the US only, there are also virtual cards which can be found I am not sure on the restrictions of virtual cards if any as I would assume as they will be used online that there would not be any restrictions?
2193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why arnt we seeing more bitcoin ATM popping up? on: December 04, 2015, 03:32:37 PM
I was thinking the same thing, once I heard about them being installed in a few places I imagined a time when a lot of cities would have a bitcoin ATM.  Where I am in EU there is only 1 accessible to me and it only a one way machine so you are able to purchase but not withdraw into Fiat.

One of the main reasons I think that we do not find ourselves with an ATM in every city is down to the cost of the machine and I would imagine ongoing cost to maintain it, bitcoin has not taken off as quickly as a lot of people assumed it would so to host an ATM for the occasional visitor just doesn't make much sense.

There are also other ways available to the public to buy and sell their bitcoin, localbitcoins being one but there are also other service such as Coinbase and the like so for now I think we will need to wait until bitcoin becomes the best it is intended to be before we see an ATM in every city.
2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About to buy my 1st Bitcoin on: December 04, 2015, 03:25:52 PM
I think Coinbase is probably your best option for now as you have just joined the bitcoin arena but make sure you turn on the 2FA on your Coinbase account.

Once you spend a bit of time on the forum and learn a bit more about the different options available to you you may decide to invest some of your bitcoin in which case it will be there instantly available in Coinbase for you to transfer.

If you do somehow come into a lot of bitcoin try not to keep it all in the one place especially not on an exchange such as bitcoin, if you do have a lot in the future it will be definitely worth you looking into offline / cold storage for long term holding.
2195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekend target $320 on: December 04, 2015, 03:12:16 PM
Just reading about the Goldman Sachs patent as I was not aware of it as have not been active for a day or so.  Looks interesting, a lot of the large banks will be creating their own coins now in response Citibank and so one, this might be the direction Circle will be heading towards as Goldman Sachs was a large investor in the company.

The price of bitcoin will be affected no doubt as you have said but to what level who knows.

Do not forget to post the TXID after you received it. Smiley
May I know your initial investment in PassiveDice?

PS: Website is offline.

That's the plan, will post if and when I can withdraw.  I invested 0.06 spread amongst the 4 bots and currently showing 0.15 in account so a pretty healthy profit, of course if it stays like that come Friday.
2199  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: PassiveDice - Bitcoin Dice Bot System - Let the bots do the work for you on: December 01, 2015, 08:32:58 PM
It is completely different running one or a couple of external bots on a dice site than running over 80 like we are right now. Algorithms and patterns can be worked out.
Did you use your own funds or the customer funds to gamble with your so-called bot?
And if I purchase a bot, the bot will gamble at 80 dice sites at the same time or it will choose dice site with the lowest house edge?

That would be a good idea to allow the ability to withdraw ahead of the 30 days, over the last few days I have made some nice profit according to the dashboard so being able to withdraw as you please would be a good idea, the 1.4% doesn't seem too unreasonable either.

I can see that if you did leave the bots for 30 days the potential is there for a nice reward, I think the push for the ability to early withdraw at this point has a lot to do with it being a new service and so on...
I believe by the end of the 30 days period, you will either profit from your investment (not much though) or lose it all.

The funds are all separated and customers bots gamble with their own money.

We collect our own statistics on what is the favoured dice site at the time depending on how much profit we have made. This is collected to show who has the lowest house edge.

UPDATE

withdrawals will be available at any time coming this Friday, All withdrawals will be subject to 0.4% fee.

Roll on Friday, thanks for the update.

Anybody else getting an issue when trying to access the site?
i get This webpage has a redirect loop when I go to the login screen and can't reach out to their support, I am using Chrome

I had this issue once and it was related to 2FA so you will need to contact their support and they can fix it.

Also try getting through to their support here
http://genesismining.freshdesk.com/support/home

What they also told me to do was to delete cookies related to Genesis Mining and also there was something with my browser cache I had to do as well.

Brilliant, cheers.  Thought it would have something to do with the 2FA as it only happens just after I enabled it, I will reach out to support thanks for your help.
