Its back online and running well.

Yup...but it looks like it's minus scrypt coins. Just wonder if I'll be getting a pay-out for the coins I had previously?
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] YAAMP.COM multipool multialgo profit switch with exchange on: November 08, 2015, 01:40:03 PM
yes, you need a valid wallet address, as explained on the main page.

The only internal-to-yiimp "exchanges" is failover mode. When an user is already connected and the wallet unavailable (or restarting), in this case other coins with the same algo could be used temporary (and converted)

Hi,

There is no main page for yiimp, AFIK.  I have used the old yaamp and hashpower so I am very familiar with how this works. But, I still get the authent. error when I try to connect to the quark algo pool; port 4033.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] YAAMP.COM multipool multialgo profit switch with exchange on: November 07, 2015, 07:21:51 PM
I am having a problem connecting. Says 'Stratum authentication failed'. Can anyone help? Using stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:4033 for quark algo. Is this incorrect?

Thanks

I don't think the BTC pump had much to do with the pool being down. I believe this pool is a one-man operation being run as a hobby so, it's more likely an equipment problem. I'll keep checking in on the pool to see if it's ever brought back on-line. Until then, I'll find another multi-pool or just go with nicehash.

Good luck and I hope this outage doesn't last long. I still have mined coins waiting to be paid.

What kind of return will I be looking at with just 73.xx CBX?

CapnBDL - return is dependent on network participation; the less people staking, the more likely you are to earn a PoSP block = the more CBX you will earn.

After PoSP launches, your Vault will need to be open online and unlocked for staking. Your CBX will have to sit in your Vault for at least 1 hour untouched at which point they become eligible for earning PoSP stake occurring at a target rate interval of one block per minute. The larger your Vault balance, the more likely you are to earn the PoSP block that occurs at that minute. Once you earn a PoSP block, your staked CBX will have to wait the 1 hour minimum time limit once again before being eligible to qualify for the subsequent PoSP blocks.

Our white paper will be released with the new Vault v2.0 that will explain in better detail, but this is essentially the best we can do to answer your question without knowing network participation at any given time.

Well done! I think that answers my question and, most likely, others question(s) as well. Your eloquence and direct, to the point response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

CapnBDL

YeeHaww!

Just registered 2 addresses. Took me a while to figure out how to do it in WinQT. But it's done. FYI: I don't own much so they will be at the bottom of the 'RichList'.  ( #86 & 89 )

Looks like the majority has spoken regarding transaction fees. I am pleased to announce that transaction fees will no longer be destroyed and instead will be included in PoS blocks upon release of Vault v2.0 with PoSP!

Great choice  Grin

Thank you everyone for your votes and participation; I think this is a very good choice because it will make the ownership and staking of CBX even more interesting. Has everyone purchased all Crypto Bullion they want, in order to get the desired amount of staking reward? PoSP is coming to a Vault near you ...

I don't have near enough CBX and it's been slow for me in the exchanges (don't have enough BTC either). What kind of return will I be looking at with just 73.xx CBX? Still attempting to acquire more. I was hoping to get over the 100 mark but don't think I'll make it before POW is over.

FYI; As for the different exchanges, I happen to like Cryptopia.

Good Luck with the new wallet to be released, although I will be disappointed that mining CBX will be over.

HI,

I know it has been asked in the past, but has anymore thought been put into SANDG going PoS staking yet? I hold a small bag ( I did give-away quite a bit to raise interest) and have been watching the exchanges. SANDG is going up and I would prefer to hold, but if staking isn't going to be available in the near future...well...I really have to decide whether to hold or sell, while the market is good. Some 'words of wisdom' would really come in handy, right now.

@Ops,  HI,

During your setup of the new scrypt coin mining, NAUT was one of the coins you included. I briefly quark-mined for exchange to NAUT, but the next time I checked the status of the scrypt coins for mining, NAUT was no longer included. I stopped. How do I go about getting a pay-out?

Also, I am still awaiting the confirmation of the FLY that was sent to my wallet (last month). PM was sent. (I hope the Ops received).

Thank You,

@OPs,

Yes the mining was still going on, but it appeared to only be a couple of us in the quark pool. All the other algos were showing zeros' for hashrates. I wasn't the only one in quark tho. Soooo, I guess we lost that period of time. Damn! Whatever happened even affected the shares I had waiting for pay-out before the problem occurred. Damn again! Oh well...such is the wonderful world of crypto-mining.

Thanks anyway.

Did you ever find out why those FLY shares never confirmed from last month? I sent a PM (I though it was to the correct person) with the transaction info.

wow, now i see it too, and this can't be explained by shitcoins, more like a several hours chunk of database completely vanished

http://hashpower.co/site/wallet?address=QP49fMyuKtNM5NTjxPgA2FvHaY7C4Mn1SE

YES!!! Finally...someone else is paying attention. There are coins that just vanished!! I am going to go out on a limb and guess there is a hardware problem (possibly a hard drive). For that info to not even be there...well...I don't understand how a database can get soooo corrupted. I am mining 12 different coins and missing ~ 1+ for 7 of them, ~ 2+ for another 2, ~3+ for another, and more than 10+ for the last 2. Comon...ya gotta fix this and quick! I just lost a full 24hrs. of Quark GPU mining @6.8+MH. Not to mention the electric bill. That is some serious coin!! From what I see on the exchanges as the selling prices (not asking) that comes out to ~ 0.099748xx BTC. Not chump change to me!!!

@Pool Op,

I have no clue as to WTF these ppl are talking about right now, but I can say this...the pool is messed up right now. NOTHING is confirming! Plz check the servers, seems to be a problem. Coins/hashrates disappearing, no wallet/coin updates, no pay-outs. I hope somebody catches this soon.

Greetings,

I have installed the Android wallet on my tablet but am unclear of the correct procedure for setup. Skimming back through the thread didn't further the information for a proper installation either. I'm being asked for a couple of things when the wallet is opened the first time and unclear of what should be done. Is there a guide anywhere and if not, would you kindly have the creator post them? Also, explaining what the options mean might be wise.

Thank you,

Hello CapnBDL

When you initially install the Android Vault, your operating system will warn you about several things including that if you install the Vault, it will have access to some of your personal info. This warning message is a generic message for many apps, so just say yes to that.

Then when you create your first Vault ID it will suggest to create a mnemonic code; say yes to that then please take these exact words down in your password notebook; this will be very convenient as tablets get wiped out or reinitialised regularly, and this mnemonic code will help you recover your Vault with all CBX in it.

Typically a mobile Vault is meant for short term, and should not be left with big balances. Try the QR code reader built in the Vault, it's really neat!

Yes, understood. I have already been...'playing' with it.

It's actually a VERY intuitive wallet with more options than the typical Android version a user would see. I AM just a little confused by the .json import though. I see where it may be needed to re-install for a wiped mobile device, but not as a first time install (same goes for the mnemonic), so why does it ask? Shouldn't that actually be in the settings area so it doesn't confuse people? Which, by the way, was why I hesitated to begin with.

AND...I am wondering how well the network block updates will function if I import my desktop wallet (or fractions of it)? This wallet far exceeds others, but for the 'Average Joe'...well, somewhere, somebody is gonna mess it up! They will try to do something, and it will let them, but "Can this wallet keep up"?

Personally, I like it, but I'm really not the 'average' user. I pretend...keeps me from stirring the pot too much. The dev for this did a very good job, but just needs to keep in mind the acronym 'KISS', as in Keep It Simple Stupid.

As I am strictly a Windows user (and an MS beta-tester), and I don't know the way the IOS/Linux systems are structured, thereby, I am unable to 'lend' any advice in that arena. Is that what the 'first-time' setup features are for? It would then make sense (at least to me). However, in any case, it was a terrific job. Congrats!

There's nothing to it, if you don't try to read more into the 'first-time' install. I guess I don't deserve a 50CBX payout for doing nothing. Should it be deemed so, I can write a 'basic' guide to help people from the Windows environment, but, since installing mine, such guide would read pretty short. If you would like to further test out the Android wallet my addy is...5iTupFdu2kTkJwcEMHgUgFoNiFRRk5s6UT. Find out how well it functions.

Thanks anyway,

CapnBDL
      Cool

edit: there does seem to be a slight problem with the QR code scan feature though. After I scan an address from my desktop Vault, the app crashes and closes. I'll keep 'playing' to see if I can figure out why it won't add an address.

Excellent idea! Any community volunteers to create an install walk thru guide? I will pay 50 CBX for the service.

I VOLUNTEER to be the beta tester....for 50 CBX, I am going to complete the install and see if it functions correctly. Afterwords, I will write a short guide and post. I've nothing else to do, so what the heck.
