2181  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Any gaming computer that has a 7970x3 GPU on: February 25, 2015, 07:53:13 AM
You can buy 1 bitmain u3 off amazon for $70 and get a better watt/GH return 60GH/s for 60watts
u3: 1watt/GH
7970's: 200-300watts for 0.6-0.7GH/s

And whoever is paying for electricity will notice a jump of that nature...

Each card would only do 700-740kh on scrypt mining.

Best bet is get a gaming computer for gaming, and a Bitcoin miner for mining.

Or he could mine X11 which would give a lot more..

Other algorithms does exist...

I would not recommend mining with a Gaming PC since the cards will take damage.

Very true, I don't know how profitable those are tho. Supposedly I've heard news about x11 or x13 miners at the end of 2015.... Forgot the source at the moment

I don't know if you'd be interested in $40 shipped, but i'll try and help get some attention for ya.
I know it is really low, but it is just a starting point for anyone else interested.

Sorry about the late reply. Been busy with work and other commitments.

I would be willing to do it for $50 if it was paid for by the end of the night. I could use BTC by tomorrow morning.
$45 and you have a deal.

2194  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain and ASICminer to save the day??? on: February 24, 2015, 01:52:18 AM
Now that we know that Spondoolies is in it for the Farms and they "might" do something
for Home Miners if they see a market for it.....

Will Bitmain or ASICminer swoop in to overtake that part of the Market??? There have been plenty
of signs they both have intentions in making something that will be released this year.

Maybe They will put out a good miner well under .4 watts say .32 watts a gh
People are thinking after chinese new year Bitmain will do something, s6 probably

Price, Escrow accepted? Any sort of proof, because you are a newbie.
2198  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Bitmaintech AntMiner S4. Bidding starting at only .99 cents! (EBay) on: February 23, 2015, 09:46:48 PM
$750 is just the buy it now price. The listing is starting at .99 cents.

I have watched several S4's sell for between $650-$750 on ebay in the last two weeks. What may be "crazy" to you may not be crazy to everyone else.

I feel bad for those buying at 750$. Tho I am sure most people buying at 750$ are buying using paypal and scamming sellers.
I'm wondering what the reserve is sitting at on this auction...
2199  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 24TH/s SHA-256 mining farm + 6 months hosting + electricity prepaid on: February 23, 2015, 09:44:02 PM
I have on offer a Spondoolies mining farm, doing 24TH on SHA-256. Housed in a datacenter with hosting prepaid for 6 months, including power(!!!), so no additional bills for the next 6 months.

Setup consists of 15 new(!) SP20's including a fitting power supply. The setup is run in a datacenter in Holland, so no worries about this 18kilowatt beast. Consider this when calculating the energy bill for this machine!
After 6 months the hardware will be shipped to you, sold on your behalf, or continued to mine with a month-by-month hosting contract. Your choice!

Price: €16.500,- or the equivalent in BTC
Payment in two installments is possible, first payment when RIG is up&running, second payment @ 3 months (€100 markup).

5 farms available for now.

PM for details!

Needs a ton more information for anyone to even look at purchasing. Escrow, Pics, Hashrate stats are always nice.
