2181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will pump soon? Lower interest rates in june. on: April 07, 2023, 10:50:35 PM
Since the beginning of 2023 we have been hearing news about FED planning to decrease interest rates this year, and that is one of the main reasons why the market became so confident and optimistic so far, coming from 16,600$ in January to almost 28,000$ right now. If FED really achieves the goal stated months ago, it's very possible bitcoin will enter 35,000$ or even 40,000$ zone this year yet, what will definitely help the next bull run to gain even more traction in 2024.
Lower your expectations bro, enjoy the volatility and stay focused on your long term plan.
If you really expect good returns in the long term, then anything that's causing the price to fluctuate right now should be ignored. I believe the FED can influence the market, but their plans to lower interest rates are not yet real.

I'm starting to wonder what the underlying price is too hard to break $30k right now. Even the price movement tends to be sideways in my opinion at $ 27k to $ 28k.
The real factor which will push Bitcoin to the 35,000$ or 40,000$ isn't FED decreasing interest rates, but the halving that is going to happen next year. However, FED decreasing interest rates can work as an important booster on this process, increasing the potential impact of next year's halving. That is what I meant.

For now we still have Bitcoin showing resistance level above the 28,000$ line. Normally it should be at 29,000$, because the real mark is 30,000$, so I guess the resistance level is pretty strong and bearish for now... Anyway, if Bitcoin maintains its price where it is right now it's a already good news in my opinion.
2182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 07, 2023, 04:23:19 PM
Having money or not, the fact is that we have to do everything we can with the tools we have under our disposal. The ideal is that you ally money to knowledge, so you will be able to start investing since the beginning of your journey in crypto environment, while learning how to keep your money safe, however, since it's not the case of every enthusiasts, they have to find alternative ways to start building their portfolios.

The most common way is through online jobs and tasks. The point is that sooner or later you will need to find a way of acquiring money to start investing in Bitcoin, otherwise all your knowledge regards this matter will be in vain...
2183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will pump soon? Lower interest rates in june. on: April 07, 2023, 02:54:30 PM
So let's hope that we will see FED cutting interest rates in June. Good luck to everyone BTC Wink

2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 07, 2023, 02:29:55 PM
Most of the casino works with big money, So they won’t scam for the little money. Which you mean as the bonus to the participants, the bonus is nothing to the trusted gambling or casino. If you want to check to find the bonus program of certain website, you should apply for it. Then check whether they paying you the bonus or not. The good gambling site ready to pay you even 1000 dollars as a bonus for the big deposit. Bonus program is used by the website to get attractions among gamblers, I don’t think they will scam on such program.
Hmmm maybe it is still possible for a casino to say that they give this amount of drops in this xx people but then OP can try to check for the website traffic, I am not so sure but maybe semrush can help? it can help you to know how many visits per day does this website can have maybe with some deep searching he can also see if they sent a lot of email to the users? again only the traffic.
The promotion model (prize draw for limited number of users) at online platforms involving thousands or hundreds of thousands participants from different places in the world can't work in a 100% transparent format, because there will never be a certain way to make sure every winners are real legit players. I believe website traffic neither any other tools can help on this case. That is the kind of competition you have to trust a lot the house's legitimacy to participate.
2185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 06, 2023, 06:20:27 PM
No one would believe If they were told some months ago that:
• FTX would collapse,
• LUNA would go to 0,
• 3AC/BlockFi/Celsius would implode,
• USDC would de-peg,
• Interest rates would rise to 4.5%+,
• Major banks would collapse,
• The SEC would attack crypto, and
• Bitcoin will STILL be above $24k.
Here we are, and wherein these failed, others has risen to the challenge with better services and security against similar recurrence.
Actually, it's interesting some people predicted something like that was going to happen at some point, especially bitcoin adopters who are faithful bitcoin will remain as a valuable asset, while the traditional currencies and economies will collapse. They always told us to not leave our money in third party services platforms, such as FTX, they told about the risks of stablecoins, they told about protecting your money from governments, regulators and thieves inside a hardware wallet, they told about economical and banking bankruptcy and still many of us didn't believe them and lost money because of that...

Am not about to give up hope, so should you.

•What ways have you exercised hope after setbacks or failure?
•What lessons can we learn from your experience?
Hope is a constant exercise which has to be done and recharged daily. While there is life, there is hope, so you can never stop aiming new goals, learning from your experiences and trying new things, but with responsability and taking the words and advices of wise, experienced people in consideration as well.
2186  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 06, 2023, 06:01:56 PM
As he ages, the window for him is closing. I never saw him encounter any financial problem because he has been diligient and frugal. This meet-up has completely changed my mind. Even people like him are struggling financially and we'd better prepare a comfortable life for the old version of ourselves. This uncle is still doing okay although with some struggles but I am sure there are millions who are broke and wish they could have made and saved more money when they were young. Always plan for the future. What do you think ?
By the story you told about your uncle he is a hardworking man, who accomplished with his obligations in life with excellency and never let his family be in need. On the other hand, even him working abroad and a lot, it wasn't enough to have a confortable life by now, as you said they still struggle financially sometimes, and that is the part which makes me a little annoyed, because someone who worked his entire life till the 50's should be already in a pretty solid position, living in confort and enjoying everything which has been built so far. Instead, he can't stop yet, otherwise the family will be in a bad financial condition.

So I ask myself, are people really being rewarded as they should for so much effort and work done along the life? I think life standards for elders could be much higher than it currently is on most cases.
2187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Found my old account with Freebitco on: April 06, 2023, 05:03:03 PM
I'm still using the website in a daily basis, most often as possible, to claim free bitcoin every hour, to use wheel of fortune's free spins which are sent to your email everyday and to watch my investments in BTC and FUN token. The platform is pretty complete, has many different features, promotions and advantages when referring new active users to the website. That is how it has been working since 2013... One of the oldest bitcoin sites alive still paying.
2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: April 06, 2023, 04:50:13 PM
Only my father deals with bitcoin through me, but every other family members and relatives don't get involved with BTC and have always declined the invitation to do so because they are fearful of losing money, what would consequently create issues and debates with another family members who would blame them for such potential losses. I just respect their decision and say nothing else about it.

One or another friend knows about bitcoin and invest small sums of money on it, but they still hold their coins mainly on exchanges. I believe they aren't so interested in bitcoin at the point of acquiring a hardware wallet to store their satoshis safely. Where I live we still have a hard time opening the minds of the people for something new, especially regards finances.
2189  Economy / Economics / Re: Is capitalism killing morality in the name of the law? on: April 05, 2023, 07:38:49 PM
Usury is an immoral profession in almost every society. But today this immoral profession has a modern counterpart. Its name is banking. And banking is regulated by law.

Making money by prostitution is an immoral profession in almost every society. But today this immoral profession has a modern counterpart. Its name is porn industry. And the porn industry is regulated by law.

Do you think moral concepts are being killed by capitalist imposing laws who want to make more money?
Usury and prostitution are older than the term and concept of capitalism. The world has been always like this. Actually, it's said prostitution is the oldest of all professions in the world.

There are people who are greedy and want to earn money without any efforts, through the use of their own money or own bodies, then we have loan sharks and prostitutes. And even though they are frowned up in most socities, they have always existed, because there is constant demand for those services...

However, don't put this over capitalism's shoulders, as they exist as independent things.
2190  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 05, 2023, 05:14:10 PM
The worst thing is I got no email about logging in or password change or anything, so the guy was very clever. Now I have 2fa (also very stupid of me not to have before so a warning to all you guys to please set this!!).
That is very unfortunate, and sadly common on the internet. To set 2fa is a must when holding and investing any sums of money at online platforms. That is a basic and efficient security measure at same time which prevent most, if not every hack attempts against the user's personal account.

By this time everyone here should have already set up 2fa on their accounts...
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Existing Crypto Casinos Were Able to Churn Fiat Casinos User? on: April 05, 2023, 04:57:21 PM
To say the truth about the gambling reality currently ongoing, online crypto casinos have already taken hold of the entire system because this is the trending era of cryptocurrency and since one can have casinos in their numbers in support of using crypto to gamble instead of fiat, then online crypto gambling is already the lead in this regard except for those physical casinos that does not have the requirements of using online platform before gambling that still accept fiats.
Crypto casinos have increased a lot in popularity during and after the pandemic, but they still can't beat online fiat casinos, which are more popular, probably due to sponsoring lots of sports' tournaments and championships around the world. Here in our country there are many betting platforms sponsoring such events, especially inside the soccer industry, including the participant clubs. Within time it's possible crypto casinos will also appear more frequently on those events, but for now it's not happening yet.
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 05, 2023, 04:32:02 PM
The best time to gamble is during the night. The atmosphere is pleasant, every daily tasks are already completed and you can gamble at the confort of your bed or couch after a relaxing bath. Some people may like to gamble during the afternoon and morning, however, I can't imagine myself matching my duties with gambling. Not that it's impossible to do everything at same time, the point is that the gambling session won't be so enjoyable when your mind is splitted among different activities.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 04, 2023, 09:50:04 PM
Imagine how much profit speculator Elon Musk and his partners have done with this joke. It's really worthful to have a big company under your control, so besides profiting with the business, as usual, you can also profit by speculating crypto adoption meanwhile. We can't deny Elon Musk has a different level of ability and intelligence to make money though the most unusual existing methods. Touché to him!

Whatever he does must be profitable. somehow, by way of a Doge joke he could do it on twitter. He has control over twitter and he can do anything with it. For doge holders this is very good news, taking more profits. But I don't know how long the Doge logo will be on Twitter, but as long as Elon continues to play Doge, the Doge hype will always be there.
I believe it won't stay there for too long, just like the bitcoin payment method on Tesla also didn't last for too long. When the person is a speculator, nothing he does stay for too long, since is constantly in need of changes and new hypes to continue making profit. That is the methodology used.

I hope this time people don't enter the hype at its end, otherwise they may lose money, exactly as SHIB investors did when they purchased the token after seeing Elon had posted a shiba dog on his Twitter, and right after he made a tweet stating he had nothing to do with SHIB cryptocurrency.

Upon checking further, I can not find any news regarding it. Does anyone know the reason behind it? Does Elon just playing around?
There is your answer:

As per CoinGecko, it is up almost 20%, in the meantime.

2195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attempting to help some underprivileged through Bitcoin on: April 04, 2023, 05:55:12 PM
I don't feel this is the right board for your post, BTC was written in your thread subject, but in the post i don't see how what you said relates to helping people with BTC, we can help the underprivileged with any currency, and it is better to give them fiat that they can spend quicker and easier than give them BTC.

There are people who help others everyday, and i don't feel people need to be reminded to help others, it is something they do by themselves. Donation threads are also not allowed in the forum if that is what you are suggesting.
He means to collect donations in BTC to help underprivileged people around him. However, it's not that easy to start a donation campaign on the internet, because potential donators have already seen too many scams on this niche that they have become suspicious and doubtful of anonymous people asking for money without further details of how this money is going to be used, neither proving any reputation or guarantees to donators.

Donations campaigns are allowed on this forum, though, as I've already seen on some threads before, including one which asked for BTC donations in Pakistan during the floods disaster last year. Many people donated and it was a success.
2196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I still believe I am on the right path on: April 03, 2023, 08:25:32 PM
I understand the concern of investors who are buying bitcoin recently, because the price is quite bullish these days and I'm not going to lie, a correction is possible to happen anytime... The important is that you keep your focus on long term, aiming future bull runs and ATHs which are believed to happen in a year or two, although we don't have the guarantee it's going to happen inside this timeframe.

For now, everything you can do is to wait and keep your coins stored very safely in a hardware wallet, with all its secrets hidden from other people. After all, I also believe you and everyone else here who believe in bitcoin's potential are on the right path and will see the fruits of the confidence they are putting on this cryptocurrency futurely!
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could be the Symptoms of Getting Loss in gambling According to you? on: April 03, 2023, 06:47:27 PM
Well, the only symptom of getting loss in gambling is when you have already lost more money than you won by gambling, what is quite obvious... All other points mentioned aren't exactly symptoms of getting loss in gambling, but symptoms you are developing or have already developed a gambling addiction.

Moreover, we could say that getting loss in gambling is also a possible symptom you are getting addicted, and therefore, should change your habits immediately.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 03, 2023, 06:37:54 PM
The truth is we can't really find out if the site is actually giving away the drops or not.
Some do post the draws which can be verified but most of the times its just out in the thin air.
Trusted and reputed sites don't cheat their users usually because one mistake can decline their user base by a huge margin.
This is why they tend to do genuine promotions only which in turn increases their user base.
It's just not possible to have assurance the process is legit, because even if the casino is transparent by showing the users' profiles who won the prize, we will never be able to make sure if those are real accounts, or accounts created by the casino itself to fake a promotion. All we have in our favour is the casino's credibility with the community and it's our decision to trust them or not.

That is why I prefer promotions which reward everyone who join it by completing a requirement, instead of joining promotions which will select only few participants to be the winners.
2199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: April 02, 2023, 08:26:11 PM
In my opinion, Altcoin will not survive without the presence of Bitcoin. In addition to the fact that Bitcoin is the mother coin of all cryptocurrencies, there are other factors in the market that make Bitcoin the number one influencer in the market.

The first factor is trust, without bitcoin there is no trust in the market, investors do not have confidence in altcoin yet.
The other important factor is the dominance of Bitcoin in the market, which automatically makes all altcoins linked to it.

This means that if bitcoin falls, all altcoins will fall with it.
That is totally correct. Without Bitcoin, the whole crypto market goes down, as we have been constantly seeing along the years. The market in general only enters a positive trend once bitcoin gives the start upside. Even Ethereum, the top 2 cryptocurrency can't survive without bitcoin. Always bitcoin loses demand and crashes, ETH follows BTC, also going down, sometimes losing even more value than BTC in percentage.

Some enthusiasts believe this will change someday once an altcoin rises as potential competitor to bitcoin for market's dominance, but in my opinion that is not going to happen on the next decade, at least.
2200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: +0.54056624 BTC Scam mail on: April 02, 2023, 08:11:50 PM
Sorry, but who would believe 0.5BTC were deposited on their accounts without any apparent reasons? Money doesn't fall from the sky, even in crypto universe. Every emails which look too absurd to be true must be taken with suspicion by the receiver. Even emails claiming you had an account hacked on an exchange or bank must not be taken as true at first glance.

One hint I give you is to right click the button of the link presented on the email, then copy address of the link and ctrl + v on notepad or any other place, so you can see to where you would be redirected. Usually it's a strange URL, which has nothing to do with the service they claim to be representing.
