2181  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand ban using crypto for payments on: April 07, 2022, 01:09:56 PM
Actually government don't want to down the banking system. In a country, all the people are not educated and well known to crypto. Payment system in digital method is useful but it will need more time. Banning of Bitcoin isn't good news for crypto lovers.
its step back from technology adoption if banning cryptocurrency , meanwhile alot benefits from this market beside crypto tax itself. allowing citizen access or having transaction into crypto create alot job opportunity which economicly will decrease unemployment in that country. Traditional banking system should worry  with crypto , if they could adopt it alot cost efficiency will happen.

There should be a valid reason for the government of Thailand to stop using bitcoin as a payment method. The banking sector won't be closed if bitcoin payments are allowed as both fiat and crypto can run side by side for another decade or so. Therefore, banning bitcoin to save the banks is only a lame excuse.
Thailand is known for its tourism and if tourists would have been allowed to pay in crypto, it would have been an added advantage.
2182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 07, 2022, 10:02:11 AM
It is interesting to think that because technology has accelerated so fast in the past couple of decades, something like bitcoin would have seemed futuristic or impossible in the 1970's and 1980's. That said, it is fairly easy to imagine a world of no Bitcoin if you can remember back 20+ years or more .

There were no bitcoins 20 years before and we could imagine the world without them only before their existence. Since the invention of bitcoins, it's impossible to live without them.

I can't imagine a world without bitcoin. What if someone says, imagine a world without the Internet and you will say that the world without the internet will be the end of the world. We cannot say the same for bitcoins, but those who are using bitcoin, for them it is like a horrible dream to think of a world without bitcoins.

2183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Charity Work on: April 07, 2022, 09:44:16 AM
Second Charity Work
I have also decided to make a free Bitcoin training for 30 youths from my locality and the focus of the crypto training will be on Bitcoin and how it operate with some other tools that will guide the participants through their Bitcoin journey.

Your advice suggestions are welcome on the second charity which is the training of young youths on blockchain Bitcoin education.

We usually think that donating money is the only form of charity while the truth is that if you can devote your time and spread your knowledge to other, free of cost, this is another form of charity.
I really appraise your efforts of using and helping your community by training 30 people. After completion of that training ask each of these thirty people to teach more people and this cycle will always continue.
2184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Three thousand Bitcoin ATM Installed In first quarter Of 2022 on: April 07, 2022, 09:25:44 AM
Bitcoin adoption around the globe is increasing with time. The installation of 3000 more bitcoin ATMs are a proof for the same. Though there is regular installation of bitcoin ATM, it isn't possible to see the same diversified around the globe. Only in specific locations the bitcoin ATMs were getting installed. Maybe this need to get diversified beyond the first world countries where 90% of the bitcoin ATMs were installed.

Once we have more and more bitcoin ATMs installed in first world countries, there are higher probabilities that the under developed countries will follow the same practice. However, only those county can install these public ATMs where the government have no problem with these installations. If bitcoin is not legal in any country, there is no way we can see those machines in those countries. Making bitcoin legal in countries is the first major sign of bitcoin adoption.
2185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: April 07, 2022, 02:54:35 AM
In order to earn income from crypto, at first need to do research and gain knowledge about it.  Then there are lot of sectors where you can make money.  If you are in the early stages of it, then you can make money by bounty and invest in different trading sectors.  You can see the details by going to the bounty section  => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

This is just one way of starting the journey in crypto if you do not have any funds. If you have some fiat money, which you can convert into bitcoin and altcoins, then that can be a much faster way to invest and start the journey in crypto. Another thing is from where ever you start it is your choice but make your you keep on learning new things in crypto. There is a lot to learn in cryptocurrencies if you are totally new in this field.
2186  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: The best passphrase on: April 06, 2022, 11:43:47 PM

Is there others ways to have a more secure passphrase in a way the world would have extinct before anyone can brute force it.

Even if you use the default passphrase, it should be secure enough and no one can brute force it. I think you are anticipating that in the future
quantum computers may be able to brute force our passphrases and seeds but i don't think this will happen in our lifespan. I would suggest you not to make thing complicated, keep the default passphrases and focus on how to keep these passphrases secure.
2187  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bread Wallet now Coinbase Wallet - help needed. on: April 06, 2022, 02:47:41 PM
So if you are considering moving to Electrum, then I would create a brand new Electrum wallet, write down your new seed phrase, and then send all your coins from Coinbase across to this new wallet.

I would consider doing this as i don't want to risk my hard earned money. Also in this migration process of moving my funds to a new Electrum wallet, i would like to safe the fee and use the minimum fee to transfer my bitcoins from non-custodial coinbase wallet to new Electrum wallet.
Any suggestions or tricks which can save me tx fees and process accomplished with the minimum fee possible?
2188  Other / Off-topic / Re: An Unforgettable Day In my Crypto world on: April 06, 2022, 02:31:39 PM
I mesmirized seeing more than 1 crore he has in his pocket. His hardwork, his holdings finally went worthless because we lost everything in a single day owing to market crash the day we forced to cash out the holded money for a very emergency need.

This shows that you people have no money management. A market crash is nothing if you are holding crypto or have funds in a spot trading account. A big market crash only liquidates the future traders and you should never do future trading without money management.

Anyways nothing is lost as if you start accumulating bitcoin from now onwards, in few years time you will still find yourself in good financial conditions.
2189  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bread Wallet now Coinbase Wallet - help needed. on: April 06, 2022, 02:15:56 PM
I don't recommend using coinbase wallet. Because it's close-source and we don't know what's happening behind the scene.
If you have bitcoin, as suggested by dkbit98, you can use electrum for accessing your fund. Even for your altcoins, there should be many other alternatives better than coinbase.

Warning:
Download electrum only from its official website and do not forget to verify your download.

Now i am really confused as what to do. I migrated my private keys in the coinbase wallet and my funds are now appearing in the coinbase wallet.
Since you told now that it is a closed source, this means that they can have access to my private key. To keep me on the safe side, i can close my coinbase wallet and open the same wallet by importing the seed in the electrum wallet. But since i put my seed once in the coinbase wallet, i will remain at risk forever as coinbase can do anything because of closed source  Huh
2190  Bitcoin / Wallet software / What happened to BRD Wallet ? on: April 06, 2022, 01:21:21 PM
I logged into my brd wallet on my android phone and it says that BRD wallet has been migrated to coinbase wallet. I cant see my funds in the BRD wallet and the only option i have is to migrate to coin base wallet. Also i search the internet and found about this Coinbase Wallet Migration.

I want to know if the Bread Wallet have closed and is this coinbase wallet non-custodial and safe to use  Huh
I have no option but to migrate to coinbase wallet but i want to transfer my funds to more secure desktop wallet.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of bitcoin transfers on: April 06, 2022, 01:08:03 PM
The cost of bitcoin transfers has increased. Do you think this is trivial? Is it worth transferring money with bitcoin? Why transfer money with Bitcoin if the transfer cost is high?
like i have 100$ in one of my old wallet but i cant transfer it because of transfer fee is more than my asset !

How can you say that the cost of bitcoin transfer has increased ?

You can read the latest article on coin telegraph which explains in detail that Bitcoin transaction fees hit decade lows, here's why

2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Bitcoin Secret Revealed on: April 06, 2022, 07:33:05 AM
Ok, this discussion is getting nowhere. For that reason I decided to make a video for you guys. I will call it: "Bitcoin is a myth and not real." I will explain everything there. The video I attached in the OP is somehow misleading. When I created it I was thinking that bitcoin is a some kind of message. But throughout  the discussion in this topic I realized that bitcoin actually doesn't exist. We can say that I was also the victim of this widespread false narrative on bitcoin's existence. So I will delete that video and make a new one. Probably over the weekend. Stay tuned.
Like promised, here's the video: https://youtu.be/jcraRM6vblQ
since the discussion is getting nowhere then you may consider closing the thread instead? because it seems that majority does not even care of your effort to bring Bitcoin down and even no care of what is that video made for
I dunno man, you're not convincing me. If it's a myth, then it's a myth that's worth 880 billion dollars. The fact that it is something that can be used, or useful... means it DOES exist.
perhaps OP has intention that we can call Myth  Grin because no matter what he says , this is Bitcointalk.org forum in which majority is a Bitcoin supporters .
It's impossible to bring down or support something that's not real. It's possible only to suggest people not to behave irrationally by giving away their property just because a system of an anonymous guy is changing numbers next to their virtual address.

For a moment, lets say what you are saying is right. You need to be that anonymous guy and make sure your numbers are increasing against our bitcoin virtual address. Because these virtual addresses are black holes which will eat up all your fiat and banking money.  Smiley
Closing your eyes , love for banking system and hate for bitcoin will only make you at a loss by inflation while rest of us will have the financial freedom.  Cool
2193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 05, 2022, 11:40:19 PM
This pump will run day after day as the Op described, which is $3 billion to start with. at one point this move will be the point at which BTC will rise above $50k this week. BTC is still holding $45k/$46k today if the close occurs at $46k there's a great chance that $50k will be reached.
This news is currently being discussed, especially on twitter. I'm sure they will be very serious about continuing to buy Bitcoin until their target is achieved. all of our hopes for bitcoin to break through the $50k price will surely come true soon.

Luna Foundation Guard (LFG)  is no doubt buying bitcoin continuously but this does not mean that they are the only ones pumping the price. Their buying orders are giving a big support in the market and retailers & other investors are also buying bitcoin. Bitcoin needs to cross the psychological resistance of 50,000$ and then we may see a big strong bullish momentum towards the all time high. Do Kwon decision of buying bitcoin in order to back up the UST has suddenly shifted the market back on the bull phase and we avoided the bear market for the time being.
2194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: April 05, 2022, 11:26:54 PM

Max Keiser made a realistic prediction, considering that the price has already reached $69000 and we are still in 2022 so for 2025 it is quite realistic that we will reach $100,000

I am very much optimistic for 2025 bitcoin prices. $100,000 is the bare minimum we should reach by 2025 or even before that. I expect bitcoin to be above 250,000$ by the end of 2025 because we have the halving event before that historically bitcoin always has a bull run right after the halving. If history keeps on repeating and we have another bull cycle, i am sure to see bitcoin at prices that seem impossible for now.
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: April 05, 2022, 02:40:10 PM

I cannot say with surety if this was a scripted plot or a real event. If this was scripted, then why right after the slapping incident, the mikes were closed? We saw Will smith abusing to his full throat at the host but could not hear because the mic was muted at that time.
If he did it deliberately, he should be punished for it otherwise it will become a routine in live events.

Based on his recent posts he is very sorry for what he did some of his projects are on hold like the Bad Guys movie and the one with Netflix he also resigned from the Oscars, the incident di Will Smith more harm than Chris Rock, he is exposed as a violent mind nobody wants to be associated with Will Smith right now, the man is wrecked, there's a lot of jokes right now about Will Smith.

So all these things prove that Will Smith did it intentionally. Since he is sorry for what he did, this shows that all this happened because of his emotions.
Social media is filled with Memes for both Will Smith and Chris Rock, as some people are enjoying the moment while others are showing deep concerns over the incident.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: April 05, 2022, 12:49:13 PM
Will Smith's Many speculation that is just a montage, no one is a secret that in Los Angeles and Hollywood have their very murky things and that when they are thrown into the world, it makes their lives pains if you want, some become crazy , others kill them and then they say that they committed suicide, we have the case where some have left unharmed but with certain dismembered things in their lives, such as: Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, I would hate Qeu Will Smith starts to go wrong.
...
I'm surprised that anyone believes that what Will Smith did could be real.
...

I don't know if it seems normal for you that one person slap another on such context worldwide.
there are lawyers and a law, a gesture like that it is primitive, and any of us (or just anyone) reacting in a similar way in daily life would have a lot of negative consequences ...
The act of Will Smith was definitely unacceptable and there should be a disciplinary action, either suspension, expulsion, or any other sanctions because what he did was clearly against The Academy's Standards of Conduct. Although Will Smith made an apology to Chris Rock, but i think it's not enough. He should still be given proper sanctions and be responsible of his own action.
In other forums - I spoke so high about WS and many people were of the opinion that Will Smith should win the award for his honesty to the acting industry. But in my opinion he will not be punished what he did because like many others I also believe that this was a scripted plot.

2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? on: April 05, 2022, 10:29:58 AM
What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? Cuz if it merges, then the price of Bitcoin would pass $100,000? The market cap would be at $3 trillion dollars but what will the price be for 1 coin?

Different cryptocurrencies are based on different blockchains and it will not be possible to merge them. If you say that there should be only one crypto, that is, bitcoin then it will not mean that all the market cap f altcoins will go into bitcoin. Bitcoin prices more or less will remain same however we may see the decline in the overall marketcap of crypto currencies.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 04, 2022, 05:31:33 PM
It's a very good thing to teach our kids about crypto currency, it'll help the younger generation to be financially stable/independent and at a very young age too.

But as we know, to every advantage, there's also a disadvantage, while letting the young ones trade themselves, giving them close monitoring to avoid certain attitudes.

Crypto is the future and therefore children should be taught about this digital currency. It is not only about bitcoin and currency, they should be taught about blockchain technology.
Blockchain technology can be used in many areas and it is not only limited to currency. Crypto and blockchain should be part of the academic Syllabus.
2199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 30% tax on crypto income in INDIA on: April 04, 2022, 04:41:04 PM
2. You move countries.

Moving country is not that easy even if you have a lot of money in crypto.

This act of the government will only open the black market and people will try to hide their crypto transactions where ever possible. The people of India can only hope that the Indian government realizes their mistake and make the crypto taxable system fair.

Hi folks, Like some of us, I have started my NFT journey via Opensea. I am working on some of immersive tour projects which include aspects of time travel where you get to a 360 view of train stations of early 20th century. I would love some feedback and comments on this! Thanks in Advance.

How can we help you ? Do you want us to buy your NFT ? Even though its good but it is too much expensive. You are demanding 0.775 ETH which is over $2500 and too much overpriced. No one will buy you in this price. I can give you two advices which may help you.

1) Lower the price of the NFT

2)Spread it all across the social media and in relevant FB groups. Don't spam, only post / advertise in Crypto and NFT facebook groups.
