I don't know what is blackcoin so that I could have an opinion on it. Maybe the most consistently rising altcoins for the last three months (I arrived in the crypto scene in 2014). Presently #9 at coinmarketcap. The spirit of my plan is also that you start selling only after bitcoin/whatevercoin has become a significant part of your portfolio. Then periodic selling also satisfies the Kelly criterion.
I'll take a look at this Kelly criterion. I will start to cash out at 10 % once 100% of my amount would allow me to pay back my expenses. Then at each doubling, I will cash out 10 more % until my initial investment is paid off. |

Mint also came before.. I think BC was the first to reach pure PoS stage though? I think that is correct since PPC PoW continues. I believe MINT was the first to introduce a limited (5 week) initial PoW distribution model before going to pure PoS, followed by BC. The BC PoS began about 2 weeks before MINT's did. Peercoin: correct - initiated PoS Mintcoin: correct - initiated Fast PoS (first because of its environmentally-conscious idea and second to avoid massive rigs to destroy fairness by getting it all) Blackcoin: correct - first to attain pure PoS (Mint was 5 week PoW, BlackCoin arrived at week 2/3 and was 1 week PoW) |

je suis largement positif (surtout depuis que j'ai arrêté de vendre). Pareil Aucune idée je suis mauvais en trade vaut mieux attendre une stabilisation ensuite on verra autour des combien il sera stable Hier matin quand il a passé les 10k je me suis dit "ne pas acheter maintenant, attendre dimanche soir que ça chute" comme les deux week-ends précédents (graphique à l'appui). Puis c'est passé à 15k et ça y est resté. Alors qu'une progression verticale est un énorme signe de pompe et donc de dump. Là, je me suis dis : "bon allez, j'achète". Je vais me coucher et au réveil... 30k! C'est à te dégoûter du day-trading Pensez à moi qui en ai revendu 520k a 2500 satoshi... Je compatis, j'ai connu des moments aussi atroces (je suis encore dedans, en fait, pour d'autres raisons). Tu as racheté, depuis ? |

Ouais j'ai suivi ton conseil et j'ai pas regretté, même si là on a du mal à passer le cap des 10k sur mintpal J'hésite à tout vendre et tout investir dans le Faircoin, un petit air de Blackcoin, vous trouvez pas ?  Comme je te l'ai dis en MP, regarde sur la durée (à 3 mois sur cryptrader). BC a prouvé sa résilience aux attaques sur le long-terme. Cependant, sur du court-terme, faire gaffe. D'autant plus que la pompe actuelle (probablement conséquence de la conférence à New York) et presque verticale donc danger ! Je te dis ça, mais en même temps, j'ai acheté à 15000... Note que BlackCoin et FairCoin sont toutes les deux des PoS. Cependant, un argument qui fait sens (même si orienté car posté par un BC holder): Aucun moyen de savoir combien le dev s'est donné de FairCoin en multiple accounts. Ah oui, touchez pas à Zetacoin :

et les rumeurs sur vodaphone ne sont pas confirmés. Ah merci, je comptais réfléchir à Zeta sur la base de ces rumeurs. |

Agree, it should be done to 3 months max... The whole point of it is to give time to people to get in. Three months would be too low. Six months would be OK. First holders would be tired of beggin every day for six months, so they would stop or even start to sell. Other beggars would come in. The point is to maximise spreading. Too short of a period would be counter-productive and I think thee months is too short. By the way, I would also advise you, faucetcoin, to NOT reduce the amount of coins in the future (I read no where that you were planning to do it, but just to be sure) |

Conclusion: the added level of security that stop-loss provides comes at a cost: Swaphole is ten times more expensive than the compétition.
Is this worth it? I'd tend to say "yes", but community adoption, arbitraging possibilities will matter also.
