2181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: October 02, 2022, 09:54:26 PM
Why you are assuming that they won't last long in youtube? Are you expecting that youtube is going to do the same as twitch did? No I don't think so because I've seen different contents in youtube and some can even be called inappropriate but they haven't been removed up until now.

Other than youtube, there are other streaming sites out there which are not strict as twitch. They can always use that. They can also create their own streaming platform as you suggested. It will never be a problem for them since they have a lot of money. They can hire a good website developer and then run some promotions. Pretty sure that many top gambling sites or those who got removed from twitch are going to migrate there.
SteveWillDoIt was advertising Stake and it had been banned from Youtube (now he's on Rumble). So I think Youtube will also ban other glambing streamers from Stake if they try to migrate there.
Regarding other platforms, I don't think viewers will subscribe to a new platform just to see streamers gambling sponsored money on slots or roulette. People watch them because they stream others things usually. But I don't think many people are interested in channels fully dedicated to gamling.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: October 02, 2022, 01:14:13 PM
We're merely plebs, many of us. Although there are also casino whales in the forum, I believe it's the best advice for everyone, especially plebs, to play only the casino games with the lowest house edge available. BlackJack and Craps.

I tried both of them, and my favorite is Craps. For a beginner, just bet on 6 and 8, then if the dice roll is a 7, you lose, if it's 6 or 8 you win. There are other betting strategies to use to increase your bets called "press and collect", but that's for another topic. Cool

The reasoning on why "just place on 6 and 8" is the lower house edge = 1.52%, definitely lower if compared to playing your favorite slot machines.

Plus there are bets with lower house edge in craps, like Pass Line/Come Bet = 1.41%, Don’t Pass/Come = 1.40%.
[...]
Your topic is interesting but at which casino do you play craps currently? Very few live casinos are offering this game actually, because I think it's a little bit complicated to quickly understand all the rules for a beginner.
Regarding the house edge it isn't the lowest among live games if your figures are correct. Blackjack house edge is almost 3 times lower than that, and Baccarat house edge is also lower than 1.5% even without commission and still lower than those figures if you bet on player.
Moreover you can find few slots claiming they have a RTP of 99%, which is hard to check though.

2183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about wallet seed in numbers on: October 02, 2022, 12:16:46 PM
I don't know the statistics but a non-empty address hardly contains more than 5% of total wallet funds on average IMO.
But now you are assuming additional knowledge, such as that an attacker knows which addresses are derived from the same seed phrase, that there is no passphrase in use, and what the derivation path being used is. Don't forget as well that as I said above, turning a valid seed phrase in to an address to check for funds is computationally expensive, and so brute forcing x number of seed phrases takes significantly more computing power and time than brute forcing the same number of individual private keys, even more so if for each seed phrase you want to start checking additional derivation paths.
I understand it will cost more ressources and time to attack a seed with the same entropy as a private key, than to attack an address but by doing that the attacker will only get less than 5% of the wallet funds on average at the end. So as long as it costs less than 20x times the cost of an attack on an address, it might be worth it even if the "investment" is higher.
2184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about wallet seed in numbers on: October 02, 2022, 11:13:41 AM
Also in a 12 or 24 word seed phrase, if only one word is missing, it would take the same time to brute force it.
If you miss 1 word in a 24 word seed phrase, there would be 8 possibilities for the missing word on average.
If you miss 1 word in a 12 word seed phrase, there would be 128 possibilities for the missing word on average.
So, finding the missing word in the 12 word seed phrase takes a longer time.
In the beginners section it's better to explain when you're correcting someone, otherwise it's useless for the main users of the section.
So CMIIW but as far as I understand, it's because we will get 8 bits of checksum for a 24 words mnemonic seed, instead of 4 bits for a 12 words seed, since we need to divide the entropy of the seed (256 bits for a 24 words seed, 128 bits for a 12 words one) by 32 according to BIP39
2^8 = 256
It means only 2048 / 256 = 8 words among the 2048 possible are valid for a 24 words mnemonic seed instead of 2048 / 2^4 = 128 for a 12 words one.

If an attacker was going to try to brute force your seed phrase, then sure, a longer seed phrase makes it more difficult for them. But as pooya says, the individual keys will always have 128 bits of security, so an attacker whose best attack is simple brute forcing will obviously choose to target this instead.
I don't know the statistics but a non-empty address hardly contains more than 5% of total wallet funds on average IMO.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 02, 2022, 09:54:06 AM
Yes, statistically ...every combination is possible... but highly unlikely and controversial when you see it drop like that.  Roll Eyes  I hate any kind of Lottery, because there are so many ways to rig the outcome... Example : weighted balls / pre-recorded video footage etc...etc.

I have seen on television where they used a nice looking women to do the draw.... she had a red dress on before the draw and while the draw was happening, she wore a green dress.  Roll Eyes   Another time..... a rolling banner at the bottom, showed the winning numbers ...before the draw ended.  Angry

I do not know of any provable "fair" draw system, that cannot be manipulated in any way.  Roll Eyes
Wow what you say is crazy, I didn't think a national lottery could do that in any country. In which country it was precisely? National lotteries don't need to rig the game to make profits because they usually take a commission on the total amount staked. That is to say if people bet 2.1 millions $ in total, they will only distribute 2 millions $ in prizes and keep $100 000. But maybe in some countries gouvernement leaders rig the game to make win their friends and family. That would be easy money for them if they have no risk to be put in jail for that in their country.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: October 01, 2022, 09:59:30 PM
The odds now are close.

-140 on Anderson silva (Bet 140$ to gain 100$)
+100 on jake paul (Bet 100$ to win $100)
I don't know why you have put them in american format while everybody is using decimal odds here but those odds are ridiculously low for Jake Paul.
It's  100 / 140 + 1 = 1.71 for Anderson silva
and 100 / 100 + 1 = 2.00 for Jake Paul

So of course I will bet on Anderson Silva because I dont know which sportsbooks is offering such odds, but there are very bad. Ander Silva is called the spider, since he 's fast and precise, so I think he will easily dominate the fight, even more than Mayweather did it because he will take it seriously unlike him.

2187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: October 01, 2022, 09:40:57 PM
Card counting isn't really illegal. If you will do it by yourself and will not use other people or device to count card for you, then there's really nothing wrong about it.
Using other people or devices to count cards seems risky if done in a land-based casino but it is possible in a online casino even if it's a live game. You can just position the device or the people in front of you so that they won't be seen in the cam but of course, you need to act natural so that they won't suspect you. I think card counting is really illegal because if not then why it isn't allowed and why do all of the casinos have a rule which says that card counting isn't allowed? They know that it can give players a benefit and it can beat them out easily.
What cam are you talking about precisely jostorres?  Huh You think casinos are recording you with your webcam without saying anything when you are playing at online casinos or you have never played there and you just imagined in your head it was working like that in order to make a random post for your campaign?
If it's the first proposition why don't you just turn off permissions in your browser or stick something on your webcam? If it's the second one, it's sad you don't even bother trying it one single time before posting about a topic like that, your BM will appreciate I guess. You come from a country with a pretty bad reputation about spammers, you should be careful about that.

I didn't wanted to lock my FUN tokens for a whole year this time and so decided to lock them for 90 days.
At 90 days we get an APY of 15% which is still a great deal according to me.
Once it is matured I will rethink about locking up for a longer time.

In this bear market, better just hodl them for the long term like the rest. Smiley
Don't forget that even if you can't gamble them on Freebitcoin like your Bitcoins you can do it on Dplay casino since your balance is directly linked to your Freebitcoin account and available there in one click. You can also now play with your BTC from freebitcoin in the same way, but it's better to play with your FUN tokens to make growing the quarterly burns.
2189  Economy / Gambling / Re: Odds like 1xbet on: October 01, 2022, 08:19:58 PM
Here is the odds comparison between 1xbet and a trusted platform. What is the difference, very minor difference is there between the odds. So, for mere variation don't get into risking on platforms in which you've experienced some awful situation.

I'm sorry but the difference is high especially for the favorite(India/W1) :
(1.496 / 1.45) - 1 = 0.0317
That's 3.2% higher than Stake. It can make a huge difference if you are stacking parlays. So if Coin_trader is right about their reliability and their reputation I understand the disappointment of Khanie.
BTW I don't known if you are posting from a smartphone but you should edit your message and add a height or width attribute to your picture as I did here to avoid such oversized image.

2191  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting Exchanges Like Betfair, exbit etc on: October 01, 2022, 07:18:22 PM
I don't undestand, if it is a betting exchange why odds are the same as a common bookmaker? It would mean that lay bets are not provided by real users but by the platform itself, don't you think? When I look at oddschecker.com, odds from betting exchanges listed (Betfair and Smarkets) are usually not the same as the ones from other sportbooks, especially the higher ones.
Some betting exchanges provide their own odds for some markets while they allow their customers to set the odds for some other markets. Some of the odds that they provide are even better than the ones provided by common bookmakers.

Also, you cannot place lay bets in sportsbooks which is why I didn't understand what you were trying to say regarding that part.
Yes you can't place lay bets on traditional sportsbooks but I don't know how oddschecker calculate the odds, maybe it takes the lowest ones from lay bets available, but it manages to compare odds from betting exchanges Betfair, Smarkets and Matchbook along with the ones from traditional bookmakers. While oddsportal display both odds from lay and back sides for betting exchanges.

@sportsbettor shared all the best crypto betting exchanges available currently which is why I advise checking them out. Among them, I feel that Fairlay is the best choice since they provide decent liquidities across multiple popular markets.

Their odds are basically Pinnacle odds which implies that you get the best bang for your buck when placing bets. The only issues with them are their high BTC withdrawal fees and the annoying UI.

Exbet would be my second choice. They are relatively new, but are improving in a slow and steady manner.

To provide a lay bet with an high odd you need a large bank roll because you'll need to pay X times the stake if you lose, that's why high odds are usually smaller than ones offered by bookmakers.

I hope new providers and new live games will be added soon to allow it growing further.

Agree on this. I just notice that pragmatic games is not available on the casino. I wonder if you guys can see it or it’s just not visible on my account since it’s not allowed in my country. I play there new live games on other casino and it will be a good addition on Livecasino if they will add pragmatic games if ever they really don’t have it yet.
Yes as panjul07 said both slots and live games from Pragmatic Play are available at Livecasino. But I don't think they are available in every countries. Despite that several good providers are missing IMO. It would be nice to have Playtech and Creedroomz there for example. I think players don't go or stay in a casino if their favorite games/providers are not available there even if the casino is more reliable and offers more interesting promotions and tournaments.
BTW it's the last day of the month today, it remains only few hours to secure your loyalty rank and to collect your rewards if you didn't make it before.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 30, 2022, 09:23:48 AM
Each casino establishes their own rules and policies regarding card-counting. But, as far as I know, most land-based casinos deal out cards in a similar fashion: they won't deal all the cards of the shoe. In my experience, at least. Depending on how frequently the casino reshuffles their decks, this can significantly affect the card counter's winnings.
Yes you're right, unlike Baccarat all land-based casinos only deal out one part of the shoe, it's a common practice. Some deal out more than others though, so what about live casino providers? Some are dealing less others too, or it only depends on the dealer?

That's a sad news because Flávio was doing an awesome job here, but I wish him good luck for his next project. I'm sure Joel will be great too when he will arrive in the coming days because it must be joyful to work for such a stylish and innovative casino.
I hope new providers and new live games will be added soon to allow it growing further.

I don't want to debate more.

As I said, is based on terms & conditions. No matter what the reason, better to avoid rather facing shit happen in your face. This is why people are always stubborn until they meet a problem. I don't really care about what "Eddie" situation or someone said while they broke a term & condition, however my response is still better to avoid any kind of activity against term condition.

Any kind of activity who are involving money is better to avoid getting a problem (before) not (after). And one another reason "EVERYONE IS NOT EDDIE" (is 100% valid, so better avoid rather than crying get a problem in someday).
Yes you're totally right. I just gave this information, but it would be very hypocritical and dishonest to say and to show something on live streams and to do other things to customers in reality, no? It would be rather scammy IMO, especially if the casino has accepted deposits and bets from the customer. And I don't think Eddie wants that for himself and for his customers.
