Ive been a big fan of elixir and think the devs are doing a great job but the price is volatile and keeps dropping now and i dont have shaky hands and I definitely wont pull my money out of this project but I was wondering what are your guys's expectations for elixirs price at the end of 2018?

Bitcoin
Ethereum
Ripple
Bitcoin Cash
Dogecoin
IOTA
NEM
The only coin that brought me profit was NEO.
But what about you? What are the coins in which you lost your money?
Ripple, and even iota, let me down. But if it was worth waiting for from the ripple, then why did not IOTA go? This is an incomprehensible question, although I most likely chose the wrong moment. I want to analyze the market right now, these are personal views, may be right or wrong depending on people's assessment.
Right now you can see the market is going down, the bad news and the bans appear repeatedly that we dash. Many have sold off their coin numbers for fear of bursting bubbles.
But for me now is a good time to buy these coins at low prices. I think this is the BTC price cut down to under 10k last year, not less than 8k again.
To me, the Crypto market is very profitable, and obviously the sharks do not want Crypto to break.
A friend of mine says bitcoin is a bubble and it can explode at any time. I believe that, "Bitcoin is a bubble." But if it was a bubble, it would have to be big enough to explode.
I believe that 2018 is still a crypto year.
That is my personal opinion. and you ?
This year is good because really frivolous coins may not return to the market at all. And for us it's good that we can invest in several coins at a relatively low price, but it's bad that the profit is likely to be seen on good forecasts only by the end of the year. |

As revealed in a report by the Russian parliament’s official publication on March 1, Russian president Vladimir Putin has set a deadline on July 1 for relevant cryptocurrency legislation to be adopted in the country. Russian authorities are planning to pass new legislation that would effectively legalize cryptocurrency markets by summer 2018. The report specifically points to two draft laws centered on blockchain technology that have been developed so far. Russia’s Ministry of Finance has put the spotlight on legal guidelines for the issuance of initial coin offerings (ICOs) while the country’s central bank has prepared a separate draft law on crowdfunding. Two authorities have agreed upon the main regulatory moves on cryptocurrencies, save for one major contradiction when it comes to cryptocurrency exchanges operating in the country. In essence, the central bank isn’t keen on retail traders and investors participating in cryptocurrency trading. A separate bill on digital assets – to be submitted to the Russian Parliament this month – will aim to establish governance rules surrounding cryptocurrency mining. Individual entrepreneurs will be allowed to enter mining pools established by legally recognized entities and “conduct activities to extract cryptocurrencies that do not fall under the criteria of industrial mining,” said Alexei Mostovshchikov, chair of the Expert Council of the Youth Parliament under the Russian Duma. Dear bitcoin community,
I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.
Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.
So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?
I have presented my theory, but what do you think?
Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

Ok so I've invested around $3600 in the following and would like to know people's views on whether I've made a wise decision and what sort of profit/loss I could expect.

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
No one argues that the profits from the ether drip much more than from bitcoin at the moment and it looks all much more promising, but let's be realistic and not talk about the price that beat bitcoin. All of us perfectly understand that most likely the ether will catch up with another alt than it will catch up bitcoin. |

So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. I didn't want to post this in the Gulden Announcement page to avoid bias opinions but wanted to know if Gulden is a safe bet compared to other alt coins. The reason I am asking is I noticed there ranking on coinmarketcap is way below other coins that have nothing going for them or is it that the other alt coins are way over priced?
Yes, like everything is good with it, for 4 years a good development and there are some advantages compared to even the same litеcoin. But the main problem why it is not so high in price is its lack of publicity. |
