223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness is the biggest influence. on: July 19, 2018, 06:55:35 AM
For now, BTC is such h huge digital currency, that it needs no sort of introduction because it is known to millions of people throughout the world and the centralization of bitcoin by the government could be the biggest awareness for the cryptocurrency. Other methods by which we can create awareness among people is by organising debates, campaign, printing pamphlets, hoardings and introduction of cryptocurrency to the youth could prove the great awareness for BTC because youth and cyrptos, both are asset for the planet.

Awareness is indeed a biggest influence; especially in the bitcoin community if you are aware on what is happening in the digital currency then, it will surely has a big influence in your whole life.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the bitcoin have a future? on: July 19, 2018, 06:53:15 AM
2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said Bitcoin will end up badly.

But look at the way Bitcoin is going.... After 10 year to 20 years, 700 million people worldwide could be using Bitcoin.   Wink

Absolutely! we never can tell what will happen to bitcoin; all you need is the guts and trust the bitcoin and it will find its way to never fail you. For me, personally i think bitcoin has a future. if  you just look back on what the history of bitcoin what they've been through you'll surely be amazed.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: July 19, 2018, 06:50:43 AM
I do believe that price volatility and legal status as the main concern for anyone to think of their involvement in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I don't think that there is any other issue like technology or user-friendliness. The lack of awareness is one of the major reasons for the people not to get involved with Bitcoin because they believe the media stories without doing their own research and trying to understand what Bitcoin and blockchain technology is all about and how it works.

I agree to this, also the bitcoin price is unpredictable nowadays that is why some people are afraid to take risk. there is a "fear" and "what ifs" if the bitcoin will never had a comeback then its a very big loss to them; well that is only my opinion.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: July 19, 2018, 06:49:08 AM
See why bitcoin is prohibited
if it is prohibited for reasons that could harm the country
then I will abide by the rules of government, but if bitcoin benefit the country but bitcoin is prohibited I clearly disagree

Searched why bitcoin has been banned in your country. and if you already knew why, then find other solution for you to continue using the bitcoin; if and only if there's no other way then you should asked a friend or family from another country to work it for you.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: July 10, 2018, 09:28:03 PM
Crypto is not for the faint and ignorance heart. It is risky and with a little effort in researching and due diligence you will excel in crypto. You will not be unnecessarily afraid you don't sell any FUD and hold when you are in red.

I agree that crypto is for risk takers but not just for risk takers but also to determined people.  Determined in terms of,  earning a living.
228  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: July 08, 2018, 11:55:11 AM
Of course it is possible to launder money via Bitcoin. Otherwise, Bitcoin cannot be considered the equivalent of a real currency, because the ability to launder money is a "feature" of every fiat currency.  Grin

I think bitcoin is a ground-breaking implies for us to submit illegal tax avoidance. Every one of the abilities of the bitcoin which obviously convolutes the experts.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2018, 10:21:18 AM
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?
.
Because banks and government wants something that they have control over. Where there are people who manages its every transactions and if something goes wrong they have someone to blame or accounted for. But with bitcoin it will never happened because of its decentralized nature.

Maybe they say bitcoin as a competitor and for the government they cannot do the "corruption" thing because it is virtual money and i think it will hard for them to do that
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: June 10, 2018, 11:41:15 PM
Digital currencies have changed a lot, digital currencies do need to be organized so as not to happen for abuse by criminals, and with those rules will make the user feel comfortable.

That is a big question though. why regulate digital money why work hard for it if you can just regulate it. the world is so confusing.

Try to ask the experts and ask their help maybe they have a lot of ways for you to still use btc although your country is banned.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: June 10, 2018, 11:21:50 PM
This is double sidede knife actually. BTC cons and pros. People prefer anonymty but goverments and financial institutes don't like privacy :/

BITCOIN WILL NEVER KILL ITSELF. OTHERS JUST TRYNA BRING BITCOIN DOWN AND DONT THEY THINK THAT IT IS JUST WASTING THEIR TIME?
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: June 10, 2018, 11:20:21 PM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022),
this is not the "price goal", it was one of the many speculation of what the price may be by then.

Quote
but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.
if by "legitimate" you mean something that the government approves then you are wrong this is not the bitcoin goal either.

Quote
Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles;
there is a simple explanation for it, people don't care about altcoins!

BITCOIN ALREADY REACHED ITS GOAL. AND IT WILL REACH ANOTHER GOAL AGAIN THIS TIME.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: June 10, 2018, 11:19:41 PM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.

IT WILL HELP A LOT OF STUDENTS WHO ALREADY HAVE INVESTED IN BITCOIN KNOWING STUDENTS WANTS AN EASIER THINGS TO DO BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO LAZY TO PAY THEIR SCHOOL FEES! IT WOULD BE A GREAT NEWS TO THEM
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: June 10, 2018, 11:18:38 PM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.
bitcoin will not be able to replace the national currency, because the national currency is still to be used, as a system of exchanges for each country, therefore we can assess how strong the economy is in the country .. for all the scoring, every country has a crypto currency that is oriented to bitcoin

FOR NOW, OFCOURSE ON THE OTHER COUNTRIES WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH BITCOIN NATIONAL CURRENCY IS THEIR CURRENCY BUT IN THE FUTURE BITCOIN OR OTHER CRYPTOS WILL REPLACE IT.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: June 10, 2018, 11:17:17 PM
Not yet, bitcoin will not die this year. Stop making a statement like that you are just helping those people to bring bitcoin down. If you really believe on this thing you will say positive things about it.

One day I will be back on this thread and tell you that you are wrong, bitcoin will bounce back for sure, just wait for it.

THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS BITCOIN WILL NEVER COME TO ITS END. LIKE NEVER. IN FACT, BITCOIN IS NOT THAT OLD TO BE WASHED AWAY.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: June 10, 2018, 11:15:51 PM
How can the government discover I own BTC, let's say I'm from Venezuela where crypto is banned, what they can do to discover and arrest me?

Bitcoin transactions are anonymous. As long as you don't reveal your identity, no one know you are a bitcoin holder.
For this purpose you have to buy bitcoin peer to peer from a person you trust. Never use exchanges that force you to verify your identity.

knowing government owns a lot of money. for sure they will hire the best IT in the world to trace your BTC.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we make sure that our money we invest in Bitcoin is safe? on: June 10, 2018, 11:11:20 PM
Before investing your money in any product first, you need to learn how to safeguard those investments. Similarly, there are many options for you to keep your coins safely so you need search this forum and learn.

You can store your coins in a paper wallet or hardware wallet or in a desktop wallet and protect your PC from licensed version antivirus software. Finally keep your seeds and private keys safely.

239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 10, 2018, 11:09:50 PM
In a few days, we will be reaching $15000 again. Those who sold dont know the game.

I agree! it will be doubled the value unlike before. let just have a trust on what the bitcoin can do.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market? on: June 10, 2018, 11:08:40 PM
In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

This is an interesting opinion that I doubt many people on this forum share. Altcoins generally are just a bigger market, but for most part, bitcoin is the bridge between them. Generally, if you want to buy altcoins, you have to buy bitcoin and then use that bitcoin to purchase the alts. It's hard to find places to buy altcoins directly. I believe this is what makes Bitcoin and Ethereum in particular so large in terms of all of the other altcoins. As long as the system of having to purchase altcoins using bitcoin/eth exists, it is very unlikely that the altcoins will surpass bitcoin, as there will be people putting as much money into BTC as they do alts.

Indeed, interesting! altcoin will be use a great combination with bitcoin or the etherum if these two will control the market i think it will never go down. such coins have a huge impact to the users and they're trusted those coins it is actually the first two ranking out of all the crypto currencies.
