222  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: November 14, 2017, 04:46:43 AM
It is positive because the more popularity bitcoin has, the more demand the currency will have and its price will increase even if this leads to the realization of updates through the forks as a consequence of the congestion in the trade causing, at times, the transaction times and Processing fees reach records.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support Bitcoin Forks? Why??? on: November 14, 2017, 04:23:39 AM
In the case of a bifurcation with the objective of supporting an altcoin, I see it as positive because they allow us to expand and improve the ecosystem. In fact, bifurcations are a fundamental right to achieve an open ecosystem like the one that, from the beginning, intended to create Bitcoin. However, when what you want is not to create a new piece of software from the first, but to find the best way to update the original platform to introduce changes that help it to continue growing, is where the controversy arises and the types of forks appear.

227  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 06:48:48 PM

I think many countries, right now, are trying to put their own regulations on the use of bitcoin. Others are even planning on putting taxes on them because they appraised that bitcoin would be a big hit in the market in the coming years, therefore, it can add a big revenue to the country through taxes. However, nowadays, since its recognition is only on the rise, many countries are not totally aggressive on making laws to regulate it.
Of course, it depends on each country and how they will take advantage of bitcoin, taking into account that those countries, where their leaders are corrupt, will take much more advantage and establish more unfair regulations for the citizen who uses bitcoin. for the moment what remains is to wait for the reactions of the countries
228  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How to tackle ether token scams? on: November 11, 2017, 06:05:59 PM
I believe that this goes beyond the authorities, is a problem that must be solved by the same community of cryptocurrencies, place more restrictive requirements when allowing these airdrops, and have more reasoning from us investors to not leave that they cheat us and make these scammers public
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin in 2020, win or fail? on: November 11, 2017, 05:15:59 PM
Currently the cryptocurrency has not stopped falling for a long time reaching historic lows. The main reason is that dogecoin has not been updated for 18 months, although there is also growing industry competition, which does not bode well for its longevity.
The volume traded has also fallen drastically since the peak in popularity, according to CoinMarketCap and dogecoin mining is no longer profitable, not only because the price of dogecoin has fallen, but also the mining reward has fallen.
therefore it would not be a good currency to invest!
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Segwit2x fork is still on or it is suspended now forever? on: November 11, 2017, 02:21:15 PM
According to Mike Belshe's announcement, they expect the size of the block to be increased later, once there is greater agreement from interested parties. So it's not a definitive cancellation, how long is it going to take? we do not know yet, what is known is that the bitcoin community is not yet ready for this hardfork
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why owning 1 BTC becomes harder everyday??? on: November 11, 2017, 01:38:50 PM
it´s more difficult to earn bitcoin but we must take into account that bitcoin is a volatile currency that depends on the demand of the investors and any negative news has repercussions and causes a drop in the currency, and at that moment we must take advantage and buy bitcoin at a lower price and sell when it's higher.

¿Cuál es tu postura? on: November 08, 2017, 03:01:37 PM

236  Local / Mercado y Economía / Re: Tu moneda - bitcoin - dolar on: November 08, 2017, 01:57:48 PM

238  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: November 04, 2017, 09:46:53 PM
Great question! Easy answer: Because people in good economies have disposable income to spend on things like Bitcoin. And you need a computer to buy bitcoin (be it desktop, laptop, mobile device, etc.), you at least need access to a computer.

People in poor economies have to struggle harder to afford life's necessities - food, clothing, shelter, etc. They have a lower opportunity to have regular access to a computer, which is probably the single greatest barrier to entry for bitcoin.

At a certain point you are right, access to the internet is low but it is also a benefit for the third world countries where the fiat currency is devalued and the bitcoin represents a savings opportunity compared to its local currency. Of course common sense, the largest number of investors will be from developed countries
