The whole point of investing is to meet in the middle. We will be purchasing mining contracts still, however the real value is in the external sites that will add to the payout funds. Take the next milestone project I am working on today. I will be setting up 256 rate trackers for shapeshift and building a system that gives "consideration notifications" .... in other words, we do not give trade advice... we give notification of potential opportunities to trade. I used $600 flipping altcoins for 3 months and paid $3000 in rent/utilities AND still had $500 left at the end of it. The concept for the coin holders is that this new project will teach people to use SS and we will have on site SS trade boxes that are preconfigured to the trade pairs for ease of use. If we had 500 people using it making 2 trades per day (each trade is a 2-way trade, so technically 4 trades per day) and each trader was using $500... that is $1,000,000 in trade volume each day off of the 500 people. A 1% commission is $10,000 DAILY. So if you think I will be selling tokens at this prices once that picks up, you are wrong. I was offering an opportunity more than seeking to fill a need with this loan request but again, it seems that most BitcoinTalk members are too jaded to see past their noses. TOR browser is usually used by anonymous people to stay safe by traffic. TOR is usually used for accessing deep web. TOR itself sounds illelegal and has nothing to do here. You cannot just earn BTC and ETH using TOR browser. If you start using deepweb which is totally illelegal then you can earn some perhaps. I would suggest you to stay far from such illelegal thing known deepweb and TOR browser

If the intention is to sell the collateral and try to disguise it as a loan, that this definetly deserve red trust, regardless of the value of the collateral, the end result of the transaction or any other things.
The bottom line is that you lied so you can't be trusted.

To be an escrow is a big responsability, just like it's to be a judge or a referee. Our curent technology can't replace the human judgement, this is why we still need them (regardless if it's a tenis match or judging a crime).
The act of judging can't be replaced with technology because it's not just about following a fixed set of rules (this is what computers do best, follow a fixed set of rulles) but in real life we must always account for the circumstances.
It's very sad that a user (regardless of his caracther) had payed for a service so in case anything go wrong with the transaction, his funds will be protected, but in the end he lost his funds. Isn't this the real purpose of using an escrow, to protect the parties involved in the transaction in case something goes wrong?
In my opinion, this could have been managed in a more profesional way.

Strongly disagree.
If you ask a loan, and have good collateral, you don't get negative trust.
If you want a free loan with no guarantees, you kind of deserve the negative trust you get.
I agree. If there wouldn't be any repercussions for a newbie asking a loan without collateral (to be read: scam attempt), then they will do it endlessly, making this section practically unuasable. By receiving negative trust, most of them give up pretty quick. |

Also, I have an ideea of creating a shared masternode, and by shared I mean that the coins for buying the node will be collected from all participants. I've been here for a long period of time and offcourse I don't expect that anybody would trust me to own the masternode, so that's why it will be handeled by a trusted escrow. I'm in Kenya and I live near a local University. I'm not a student though. I've tried to raise money here but to no avail. As other users have pointed out in your other loan request, a copy of a script is not a valid collateral because you will still have the script so no incentive to pay back the loan amount - so this must be threated as a sale. Also, according to this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2001125.msg19930147#msg19930147, your company had not paid taxes and the website is inactive, so offering your domain as collateral, it seems that it's also a sale. Also, your earnings in the past doesn't guarantee in any way that you will pay the loan amount (regardless if you will get the same earnings in the future or not, so it's completely irelevant for the loan request). It is clear by now that this is not a loan request, but a sale for the domain and the script. Please move this thread to the appropiate section ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0), or you will get negative trust. |
