221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid of losing money on: November 22, 2018, 03:39:39 PM
Hey, guys!

I become more and more nervous about my crypto safety.
I used different wallets for different coins before and now I want to choose one wallet for everything.
I have Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple.

The point is that even the biggest and as I thought the most reliable wallets have problems these days.
Money disappear somewhere, there's problems with access and withdrawals.

Can you recommend me a good, safe and reliable wallet, please?
I'm sure you have more experience in it.
Crypto is very safe now, and people like Crypto are like diamonds that are hard to destroy. There are many wallet service providers, and the highest level of safety is the cold wallet. These wallets are safe and cannot attack because the purse will be removed from the Blockchain network until it is frozen until you connect it to the internet.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2018, 09:36:37 PM
Continuing with bad negative thoughts that caused FUD to create, I do not like this. Have fun and think this is just one of the events that great Black Friday and everything will be back to normal when the event ends. Do not think too much and think this is the chance for you to shop Altcoins on Black Friday.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 21, 2018, 09:29:37 PM
It becomes harmful when the market starts falling. You should be calm because the bear market is an excellent opportunity for short-term investments. Many investors are waiting for this moment, and they expect prices to fall further because they want to buy more Altcoins and Bitcoins.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the death of Bitcoin also mean the death of cryptomania?? on: November 21, 2018, 09:23:09 PM
Bitcoin is not the heart of Cryptocurrency, so if it's dead, then Crypto is still in development. Do you find that what determines the existence and development of Cryptocurrency is that of investors? They are the heart of Cryptocurrency, and if they exist then it still exists, evolving.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobody Buying Cryptocurrency :( on: November 21, 2018, 09:18:48 PM
Pheww sigh I can't believe there is still more selling than buying at these price levels.  What is going on?  Are people still selling because of fear of Craig White and bchsv or has the difficulty in bitcoin dropped.  Investors have gone out of their minds to be selling altcoins when they are down 90 to 99 percent, but what I cant believe is nobody buying them.
You have made a mistake about this. People still buy Altcoins and invest in Cryptocurrency even when the market becomes unsettled. I know some friends, and they are brilliant at investing. They invested a sizable investment yesterday when the market fell sharply, and today they have all sold at a profit of ~ 30%.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: November 20, 2018, 11:35:09 AM
you can choose what coins/token will be popular in 2019.
include the reason coin/token can be popular.

don't expect any cryptocurrencies except Ethereum. it seems to me that this will be the best and most correct choice of investment. I am sure that in 2019 everything will change for the better
Why are you choosing Ethereum as the best and most rewarding altcoins in your selection list? I realised that Ethereum is like a slow boom it is slowly falling and waiting for a reason for it to die from this market.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are down... by a lot on: November 20, 2018, 11:27:51 AM
Hi,
So I’ve invested a bit of money into altcoins about a year ago, and did a bit of trading but then slowly lost the track of it... Until today, where I found my ledger in my closet and decided to give it another look.
So here I am now looking at my coins , and thinking on what to do... Hold on? Sell?...
I’ve got:

KMD EDG MSP

I’m down about 60% of my investment.

Any advice is appreciated!

EDIT: Yeah my entries are all super high tbh haha

EDIT 2:I’ve got quite a bit of faith in MSP & KMD Not sure about EDG though
Do not become anxious because of any bad things going on as it will soon end. Believe in your choices, and you should know that your options are what you learn and make decisions that are the right decision. Try to create trust and what you have chosen to overcome this moment.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: November 20, 2018, 11:21:33 AM
People always say that holding is the best option when the bear market appears. But I still think this is stupid advice, a bear market is going on, and it wants to continue this until the end of the year. I believe you remove holdings from your thoughts and try to minimise losses.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why regular people are afraid to invest in Crypto on: November 20, 2018, 11:14:33 AM
Take a look at Cryptocurrency for the time being, and you can see that the market is evaporating. The number of people wanting to get out of it more than the number of people who want to stay. It makes the whole market worse than ever, and investors are afraid of the market bear.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you are being manipulated by the government on: November 18, 2018, 05:48:30 PM
government are here for the US dollar. the federal reserve will save the economy when it's going downhill. while bitcoin, the government will try to destroy it. anything standing in the government's way. the government will spread false news. and propaganda. if bitcoin is backed by the US they see it crashing they will surely help bitcoin but that is not being done. bitcoin goes lower ur being manipulated. they are washing out investors. what u need is lots of bitcoin even when prices crash. the stronger ur bitcoins the stronger ur future. manipulated prices not from retail investors but higher power people. bitcoin is going to solve poverty in the future
USD is very good concerning stability, and it is almost volatile at a shallow level. You can see the influence of Bitcoin is still huge when in the adjustment on November 13 Bitcoin has dragged down the dollar. You can see everything is not really threatening Bitcoin.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How twitter affects the price of Bitcoin on: November 18, 2018, 05:11:13 PM
Hello guys!

I am a researcher studying how messages in twitter affects the price, for my thesis. I am currently creating a library grading unique expresions and words that are used in cripto and trading environments.

I am looking for people that have trading experience and want to help me grade these words. It is only about 40 words and it wont take much of your time. In exhange for the great help I am offering the study once it is finished.

If someone is interested, contact me at jaime.badiolaramos@gmail.com

Twitter is a separate social network, and you can only post short messages. This is one of the only social networks for advertising and looking for investors. A great follow-up Twitter user can get a sharp image of Bitcoin.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Acceptance. on: November 16, 2018, 09:22:37 PM
I would not support or concur to the idea one of bitcoin and cryptocurrency major features is it's decentralization and should not be traded for any other thing. Sure bitcoin would gain acceptance it's just a matter of time
Just like what you commented, Bitcoin will be accepted as legitimate and used all over the world as it is a matter of time. But the change in Bitcoin's properties could make it lose its edge and leave investors leaving it, destroying it.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 16, 2018, 09:17:39 PM
Bitcoin represents justice and democracy, and everyone can own and use it. Bitcoin does not discriminate who owns it, and it always helps its owners secure identity in the transaction. This is one of the advantages of Bitcoin, and I believe that one day soon it will replace the FIAT.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dr.Craig Wright talking about the end of bitcoin next year. [No FUD here] on: November 16, 2018, 09:12:28 PM
Just makes us believe in Bitcoin. Most big investors have greed for investing in Cryptocurrency. No fool would drop a piece of cake that would bring him a profit every day. You can see that Bitcoin is so easy to evaporate and greedy people use it to manipulate it for profit. A statement with no evidence just makes us believe in Bitcoin.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we wait for a big drop in BTC? on: November 16, 2018, 09:03:59 PM
Friends, analysts fear the further and largest decline in Bitcoin. Can it reach the mark below 5000, what do you think?
The recent downturns are like a trap. The market has been falling for too long, and investors continue to believe that holding can make it impossible for whales to earn Bitcoin at cheap rates. So, I think this is a big deal to get Bitcoin at a low price before executing plans to raise prices from a third power.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC currency unit is too complicated to accepted widely. on: November 15, 2018, 05:51:16 PM
the BTC currency unit is indeed complicated especially to the uneducated. it takes time to really understand how the BTC unit works but that doesnt mean people can understand it.
It is really complicated for newcomers to using Bitcoin. But if you are a Bitcoin user, you will feel that Bitcoin currency units are so easy to identify. Everything becomes difficult when you have not touched and used it until you use it.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does The end of mining lead to end end of innovations? on: November 15, 2018, 05:46:55 PM
If mining ends ,will new projects stop emerging in the space of crypto? How are ining and innovations related? If mining ends ,projects mostly adopt POA consensus model where mining is not necessary?
Mining is the source of Cryptocurrency?
Your thinking is wrong to think about this, mining reached the bottom of the pool will stop? Uncoupling and increasing the amount of coin that is circulating on the market will lead to increased prices and increased demand. Do not worry about this because mining is not the source of existence.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hashrate fell by 20% on: November 15, 2018, 05:35:28 PM
Chinese miners disconnected from electricity!
Bitcoin  5570 $
How do you think our giant will recover from such a situation ?

The market for Cryptocurrency is easy to evaporate, and only a small impact makes the market plummet. Maybe things will gradually recover in the coming days, or perhaps the market will continue to fall until the end of 2018.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here has the most Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2018, 07:37:14 PM
Who here on Bitcointalk has the MOST bitcoin?
I'd like to see the top winners prove it, no fakers claiming 1,000,000 BTC please lol

It would be fun to see who the heavy hitters are and what a heavy hitter is defined as.  I want to get an idea of what is considered a lot, or a little.
I'm not sure if I have a lot or a little, so I will ask the community first.  Wink

I'm sitting on a good amount.  Wonder if I have more than anyone else, or not.   If nobody has close to my amount I might keep my mouth shut.  lol
You wont get accurate answers here since no one would tend to tell of their bitcoin holdings in public and they would rather choose to keep silent than saying on how many coins do they have and also exposing private information is not really ideal to be on public as we all know hackers and scammers are everywhere no matter how good you are on keeping your bitcoin the risk of lossing it is still there.
I agree with you that no one on this forum would like to acknowledge how much Bitcoin they own because they know that holding Bitcoins helps them hide their assets and anonymity. No one stupid looking at this topic and comment that they own a lot of Bitcoins.

Who's Satoshi?
This is a tremendous and unanswered question, do I still think that this is a particular person or a specific group? Who created this picture have you seen Satoshi or is this just a portrait created from his imagination? But really this is a great picture, and it is a great masterpiece.
