221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: February 22, 2018, 12:14:22 PM
At the moment Bitcoin is just a parody of a currency. Even though the concept behind is great, there is far too much way to go to make it truly efficient and scalable.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really bad that Goverments are trying to control Crypto-market? on: February 22, 2018, 12:12:14 PM
The point is that by now many Governments, especially in the West, don't control their own money any more, since it is now a private business of banks. So it's surreal that they then try to mess up with the crypto-market.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: xrp welcomed in dubai. on: February 14, 2018, 10:31:21 PM
I am not at all a fan of Ripple. But as of Dubai, they are even bigger fans of Bitcoin. You can buy actually apartments with Bitcoins in Dubai.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNITED BITCOIN on: February 14, 2018, 10:29:36 PM
The crypto vocabulary now has a new word: SHITFORKING.
My view is that nobody should try to get shitforked coins. If the shitforkcoins devs are so smart to provide people a very easy way to get their coins, that be it. Otherwise, niet!
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: February 14, 2018, 10:18:26 PM
This is the one billion $ question I guess. There are chances that Neo could actually become the Ethereum-killer. But... who knows.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oyster Pearl on: February 14, 2018, 10:17:24 PM
Oyster Pearl could well be the revelation of 2018. For sure it has already been one of the big stars of December 2017. I think its glory is not over yet.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: February 14, 2018, 10:13:38 PM
The best thing to do with 1 Million dollars now is probably invest half in cryptos trying to enter on some huge dip, and the other half keep it in FIAT or even better in gold.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath Scam: Stay Away! on: February 14, 2018, 10:11:52 PM
I've got quite annoyed by their contraddictions myself. I have got their email, which promised me to get their token but then they lost me in their website's useless beaurocracy.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that disappointed you on: February 14, 2018, 10:09:47 PM
I've got a bit disappointed by Bancor. I was sure it would rise and it went the opposite direction. And it never really recovered. Until now.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 Investment on Altcoin with 100x return - What is it today? on: February 14, 2018, 10:04:49 PM
I would have to say to buy some Oyster. It is up a lot today and was at an all time high of 5 USD so it still has room to grow. It is special in that it actually has a working product and use case for it.

Oyster is one of the most certain successes of this year, pearls will grow at least 8X this year, until 8$, the likely market price of cloud hosting 64 Gb . It has already grown quite a lot in December, so I do not think more...
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS under $1 on: February 10, 2018, 12:05:42 AM
If you can't afford to lose money then perhaps you should not be here. A law carved in stone tells not to invest in cryptos more that you can afford to lose. But if yuo want to risk, try at least to be cautious and buy only poromising coins which have had a flat price for a while, which is a symptom of a floor and accumulation phase. Never buy them after that they have made a huge spike in price.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: February 10, 2018, 12:02:47 AM
If you buy only one coin of a few coins you also need to be lucky. Therefore it would be a better strategy to make a portfolio of promising coins and wait. After all, you need only one or two to really go to the stars for you to become extremely happy.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COINS TO Invest Before Market Recovery on: February 10, 2018, 12:00:27 AM
I don't know very well Tron, but I know that Oysters-pearls is expected to have a nice success, and I also think that it has dropped a bit more than Tron, so it could be slightly cheaper, in a way.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 Investment on Altcoin with 100x return - What is it today? on: February 09, 2018, 11:53:40 PM
If any of you ONLY had $100 - what would you put it on today for the maximum return? Preferably not an ICO.

Oyster Protocol PRL is the Volcano Coin that is now pumping crazy and will soon explode.
I got my PRL last November that has only value $0.0005 and after 6 weeks it surged up to $4.8 before it goes down, I sell my PRL when it was about to descend on $4.1 so still I'm waiting that it will drop to its lowest value and then last 2 days I bought again when it was $.48 and after 2 days it is now pumping and the current price as of this writing it is $1 so i got 100% profit today if I'm going to sell it off buy I will choose to hold because the prediction will be $6-7 before it goes down again..
So, if you buy PRL today, then hit that Buy button now and thank me later.

I wish I had got your signals on PRL before. I too had it from november, and a real lot of them, but forgot to sell it ATH, so now I can just wait for it to climb up again - which it will. PRL is a real silent volcano, I agree.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TWN - Decentralized News Platform! on: February 09, 2018, 11:50:26 PM
Since I am dealing with information also outside of cryptos I must say that I am very impressed by the way this project has been structured. I'm looking forward to delve into the whitepaper to try to figure out all technical details, which reading the ANN sound very much like science fiction Smiley

Sounds like a science fiction? Here you can check the clear example of how our platform works (https://theworldnews.net/TheWorldNews_Network.pdf). Soon we will release this functionality in our project's alpha version. And you always have the opportunity to get acquainted with our White Paper (https://twn.io/whitepaper_1_11_en.pdf).

I was not using the expression "science fiction" in a negative sense since I am a fan of the genre, but with the meaning of the "sense of wonder" that comes with literary science fiction (not movie crap). I will deep myself in the whitepaper so as to understand all mechanisms.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeepOnion: An "unbiased" Review, Part 2 on: February 09, 2018, 11:42:03 PM
I have only 2 questions :why is there no main exchanges  to list DeepOnion ? why its 24 hours volume is so low ?
There 2 questions proves how is DeepOnion like .

Great points and something that maybe I should have addressed in the article but I will take some time to answer here

Why no major exchanges listed DeepOnion yet?
DeepOnion is listed on KuCoin and Cryptopia as the current top exchanges. The reason why Bittrex and Binance haven't listed the coin is because DeepOnion isn't allowed to be listed until after the AirDrop is finished, which will be in about 10 weeks. After the AirDrop the developers will apply to be added to the major exchanges: Bittrex, Binance, Poloniex and Bitfinex. I am not sure if DeepOnion will be added to all of these exchanges since I have heard that having an anonymous development team might be a hindrance.

Why is the 24H volume so low
This is hard to approach since what do you consider a low 24H volume? The 24H volume is now around 2-300K USD and it topped out at 3-4M USD at the ATH. The market cap of the coin is around 40-50M currently. If we just randomly look at some coins in that area: CloakCoin, Hive and Decision token the 24H volume is very similar. CloackCoin and Decision token are slightly higher at 3-400k USD but I would say the difference just depends on popularity at the time. As for CloackCoin it is already listed on Bittrex which helps drive the volume a little higher.

I think that the volume is not overly low for a 40M market cap coin that has yet to be listed to Binance or Bittrex but please elaborate on your question and I will have a deeper look.

And there is another point: even though volumes are low, the price has managed to rise quite a lot from the beginning. This means very few people are selling. If volume would be higher, prices would most likely skyrocket. So it is a quite solid coin all things considered.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: February 09, 2018, 11:37:55 PM
Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year, Wall Street CIO Predicts
"I wouldn't be surprised if over the next year it's down to $1,000 to $3,000,"

Is this going to be real or not ?

Actually the fact that this forecast comes from Wall Street tells it all. They obviously try to depress the market and push it downwards where they finally can start accumulating cheap coins to speculate for the following bullrun. Don't trust whatever comes from Wall Street, if in doubt trust the contrary.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All in for Stellar (XLM) on: February 09, 2018, 11:35:18 PM
Now that Stellar has a bit corrected from it enduring ATH levels, it becomes less daring to start accumulating more coins before it takes off again.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]🔥🔥🔥 GILGAMESH 🔥 SOCIAL NETWORK FOR BOOKS 🔥🔥 ICO IS LIVE on: February 09, 2018, 11:34:01 PM
Did Gilgamesh already reach the soft cap? I've read earlier today that it was very near to this important milestone!  I'm Eager to know.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepONION ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia ✈️ Airdrops 29/40 New Thread ✈️ on: February 09, 2018, 11:30:29 PM
Guys, we have a token sale soon and we were torn between some alternatives to ETH,mainly between using XVG and XMR. There's a strong desire for anon currency in the community, though BTC and NEO are obvious.

An early backer suggested we look into DeepOnion. What do you think?

Check out the comparison between DeepOnion, XVG, and XMR. Once you do it, the choice will be obvious.

Do you have a link for a comparison between DeepOnion and the other two coins? Not that you need to convince ME, but I'm curious.

We like DeepOnion, but want to make sure enough people are using it to make sense. The markets seem thin for DeepOnion. Would the community support an ICO using DeepOnion? It seems Verge and Monero have very strong communities AND great anon currencies. Has there ever been an ICO to use this coin?

Verge and Monero have been around longer and communities tend to grow in time. DeepOnion has been probably the fastest growing community of 2017, but of course it still has a lomg way to go. On the other side, its community is very committed to the destinies of the coin.
