221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: June 02, 2019, 10:41:39 AM
You can't judge bitcoin's success because of this zero fee thing because that is not how cryptocurrencies work. They probably find failure because they can't make something out of bitcoin because they are probably buying at a high price and complains when it is low. And I don't understand this fee thing. I mean, is the fee too high? I don't think it is too high and we are already dealing with fees even without cryptocurrency.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB the ETH of 2017? on: June 01, 2019, 02:44:12 PM
ETH approach things in a more decentralized manner while BNB approach is more on centralized obviously. Both are doing well I think but I think I will still choose ETH over BNB since ETB already proved a lot of things. They have different products but I am not going to disregard the effort of BNB on becoming one of the best exchange sites. But BNB replacing Ethereum could also happen.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: June 01, 2019, 02:28:05 PM
It's not that we really need cryptocurrency but the thing is about how huge is cryptocurrency impacted our lives. Cryptocurrencies introduced as freedom when it comes to owning currency that is really profitable and surely it introduced as that we can earn more than what the companies can give to us. And in here, you are anonymous in most cases since centralization is also introduced.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ratings. on: May 31, 2019, 11:25:56 AM

Ratings are paid. The team will always find a way to market their project and getting it listed on ICO rating sites are part of it.  They paid for its listing that is why the people in the ICO rating sites will also give it a high rate. Some of those projects with high rates by the way didn't get much funds too. There were thread about these too, let me just find them.

Can't find the particular one that I have read before but the above must be enough.

Thought so, I just asked this because I wanted to make sure. I've joined a lot of projects that are highly rated in websites like icobench and some of them didn't really perform well and until now they are making nothing. Though I'm not believing that all of them are actually paid because there is still a possibility that they went wrong on something.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the ICO project to invest on: May 31, 2019, 06:55:24 AM
Even though the ICO has a really good project proposal, Be wary of its way of marketing its project. Because even though it is legit and looks promising, even no one notices it, then no one is gonna buy on their project. I've seen projects like that and some of which I joined it looked promising but failed because fewer people only noticed it.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Discourse In Twitter on: May 31, 2019, 06:44:17 AM
Even though others here are saying that cryptocurrency can be treated as a real currency, that would be really hard because of its very high price. If we want it to compete with fiat we have to treat crypto as fiat where we should also spend our money and we should hold some of it. Holding and holding won't do anything good in this ecosystem. Now, it is very ironic that we want to treat as something as fiat where some of us just want money from it.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is still Green this month. What do you think? on: May 31, 2019, 06:34:14 AM
Market is still Green this month. What do you think?
Bitcoin touch again 20k soon?

All I think is this is going to be a good year for cryptocurrency. As long as there are coins that are lower than a dollar we better buy it because I think the pump will be harder soon. And with bitcoin playing around $8,000 the growth should be near around $30,000.

Do the ratings in ICObench reliable at least 95% of the time?

230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Crime in cryptocurrency on: May 24, 2019, 03:02:03 PM
The whole concept of cryptocurrency was decentralization. But when the centralization was brought in. Then the problem begins. Can this be solved tho
The biggest crime in Crypto currencies are the fact that private centralized institutions hijacked the whole experiment and then caused all these problems. Satoshi did not want people to do P2P transactions via 3rd part centralized services, he wanted people to trade 1 on 1.

These centralized services used exploitable code and hackers and thieves quickly realized this and they targeted these vulnerabilities. So Bitcoin was not responsible for these hacks, but rather 3rd party <centralized> services with weak software.  Angry

It can be solved. If only they have better software that could block this kind of things, then we shouldn't have problems even though we have the p2p transactions by the use of 3rd party centralized services. But I would still prefer if people trading in 1 on 1 rather than the p2p thing.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning dividends through hodling YUP on: May 24, 2019, 02:58:35 PM
Any experts here who would recommend this kind of thing? Because it sounds like you have to do a lot of things in this kind of platform. Do you think doing bounties and trading coins will do the job easier than this? Or I should do the three?
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The perfect solution to scam in the crypto space on: May 23, 2019, 12:59:12 PM
The rate of scam and hacks in the cryptocurrency market keeps growing at an alarming rate. In my opinion there best solution to these crimes in the cryptocurrency market are

1 ICO regulations: if there is ico regulations then investors should only invest in ICOs that are certified and meets the required standards. This will reduce the scam rates as fake ICOs will not be able to raise money for investors anymore

2 Smart contract Auditing: I think in other for coins and exchanges to avoid hacks and attacks they should constantly audit their smart contracts at regular intervals (like every 2 weeks or every month).  Doing this will help them detect the bugs and loop holes in their smart contracts and correct it before it is used by hackers.

I think this will help a lot. Especially when it comes to verification of the projects. I think it is already time to raise our standards because as time goes by if ICOs are getting popular as IEOs more of the frauds will be produced and people will take advantage of this. Sometimes, research can't really help us since we really can't get in touch with those people in real life.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Start to Use Blockchain Technology on: May 23, 2019, 12:56:42 PM
It is good that these companies already took an interest in the blockchain technology. This should help prove that blockchain is not all about just cryptocurrency or blockchain can only be used in cryptocurrency but also helps in different fields.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we in a silent bull run?? on: May 22, 2019, 02:29:18 PM
I think we are on a bull run but I really can't say that it is a silent one. It fluctuates really fast. But in the case of some altcoins, I think they are the ones on the silent mode or it depends on the altcoins as well since I really don't check on every altcoin. But in the case of the top altcoins and bitcoin, you can really see their price pop off every now and then.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WPP Energy tokens? on: May 18, 2019, 02:21:04 PM
I was one of the people who joined their bounty campaign. It is a really good campaign but I don't have any news about their product right now. They got a lot of supply and they gave us a pretty good sell for the people who dump it. WPP doesn't have a bad price at all.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about this "industry" on: May 18, 2019, 02:10:40 PM
I hate these kind of people. They are trying to take over something that they really can't. Are they trying to see themselves as the boss of this industry? I hope better people could enter and regulate (if something needs to be regulated) in this industry. We don't need these kinds of people. I hope no one could hold my fund in exchange sites for no reason.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: May 17, 2019, 03:43:22 PM
It is a coin that has a really bad product and you're supposed to them right after when it comes out. You wouldn't want to hold this type of coins because it becomes less profitable as time goes by and your efforts on investing are just going to waste.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain technology is changing the world on: May 17, 2019, 03:39:16 PM
If you search for top technologies in this generation, blockchain will also be on the top list. And because you can apply it in every innovation humans need. But right now, it is not yet that popular since there are only a few things where people choose to apply it. Whenever I ask someone about blockchain it is always a new word for them but surely we could advance further than that.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump the alts on: May 16, 2019, 02:18:17 PM
The good altcoins are starting to gain momentum as well. With the current market situation, I think people will hold a little longer and wait for its peak and starting dumping right away. This is a good chance that they make a profit from investing but it should depend on what altcoin are they holding.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: May 16, 2019, 02:07:11 PM
I think $300 should be next and it should continue to improve with bitcoin. Bitcoin is really popping off right now and good altcoins should be able to follow. I think there is a possibility that this is a bull run and I hope it continues for months just like in 2017.
