221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][DTH] Dether - Buy & sell crypto for cash. Spend it at physical store on: February 16, 2018, 01:03:37 AM
Just learned about this project recently and I think I'm in love. Pretty sure once everything is established, this coin will mooning and what's more is that this coin is only listed on an idex at the moment. Pretty sure the price won't stay at this 15 cents for long.. So get some of it while you can guys! for sure you won't want to miss this one out. Oh, and that partnership with Zila would be awesome! can't wait for more exchanges listing.

222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Dmarket - the worlds first decentralized, cross-game marketplace. on: February 15, 2018, 05:39:06 PM
Esport is a potential and a growing market right now, so this coin is actually a really good project regardless of how inconsistent the team is.

I can see the price of DMT will rise at least thrice as much as the current price once it has a working product because as far as I know this coin still don't have any product yet. I also hope DMT could at least listed on a better exchange instead of just etherdelta. They got roughly $19m in the ICO before so listing on a better exchange shouldn't be that hard with that lot sum of money.

@DMT Team: I'm not an ICO participant, but this coin really hyped me up because I'm a game maniac especially on the e-sport field. Purchasing a skin is rather troublesome so if I can buy it with your platform instead it would be trully amazing. So, please consider to listing on a better exchange, because etherdelta is not that good, not for me at least. Oh, and for a better volume too.
223  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: February 15, 2018, 03:16:36 AM
So how can I gain 90 merit just to rank up to Full Member..? That means I need 90 unique people to randomly select me out of the thousands of posts they see a day just to rank up? I was under the impression that activity was the only thing that determined rank, which I was thankful for since I could rank up by Feb. 14. Turns out that after going to 126 activity, I get a private message from a user explaining to me that I cannot receive Full Member rank without 100 damn merit. Are you serious? And this was introduced 11 days ago. My fucking luck.

I get that it is to reduce spam and increase the quality of posts, but holy shit how am I going to get 90 people to give me merit when there are literally thousands of people posting every single day? Doesn't matter if I post extremely high quality posts or not.

EDIT: Also why is the merit jump so dramatic from Member to Full Member? 60 activity and 10 merit is required for Member rank, but 120 activity and 100 merit is required for Full Member? Activity is increased by 2x, but the merit is increased by 10x? That makes 0 sense.

Always remember that you are not the only one with this issue. And above all, I feel your pain. It might take a very long of time for us to rank up in this case.

Legendary: random in the range 775-1030
This user has only 868 activity. He can become a Legendary in the next period or maybe only at the 1022 activity mark. He got 1000 merits by default because theymos thought it was not fair to only give 500 merits to Hero Members who were in the 775-1030 range and could become Legendary at any time.

@Theymos : I support your update. Personally, I think this is the best way to reduce spammers.

But if what TryNinja saying is true, then I'm sorry, but you are being unfair here.
I'm so sorry to ask this, but what about those people who were so close to rank up before this update as well? If what TryNinja stated is true, then you should implemented it to all of those users who almost rank up as well regardless what their ranks are. Or at least give those people handicaps, like I'll take myself as the example:

I supposed to rank up to full member just few more days before this update (112 activity), but suddenly this update comes in and I gotta collect 90 more merits in order to rank up. Exactly the same like the other members rank with "60 activity". I think this is unfair.

Once again, I support this, just askin for a little consideration. Thank you in advance, sir @theymos. Have a great day Smiley
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Contract vs none? on: February 15, 2018, 01:50:30 AM
Why do some ICO's have a ICO Smart contract and some don't?

Like... ethereum and neo smart contract?
Probably because project with smart contract tends to be considered as a scam project, therefore they create their own blockchain.

I have seen some large ones not have contracts?

There are lots of ICO out there not relying on smart contracts. Like TravelFlex, HDAC, any many more.
Why should every ICO relies on those smart contract anyways?

Is this so they can do bounties?

Every ICOs can create bounties regardless it has smart contract or not -_-
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: full-time cryptocurrency on: February 15, 2018, 01:40:30 AM
I assume you are referring to 'trading' when you said you are leaving your job for full-time-cryptocurrency. This is good but super risky at the same time. Sure, cryptocurrencies are something right now, lots of new millionaires everyday, x10-x100 or even x1000 in a short time. But don't forget that most of the cryptocurrencies are decentralized. Pump and dump schemes in exchanges / market are not illegal because crypto market is not regulated. Not to mention the fluctuative in prices.. you could lose all of your money in seconds.

Unless you got yourself a lot of savings or back-up plans, I think this is a stupid idea and very risky. Maybe if you are good in programming or coding stuff, you can create a good ICO project and devote all of your time in it. This is better!
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 15, 2018, 01:23:49 AM
ICO is always the best kind of investment. The return is usually the highest of all, and the best part, in a short period of time only. However, creating an 'ICO' is very easy right now thanks to ETH. Scamming issues are inevitable thus people like us should be extra careful when investing in ICO. Just remember, high return=high risk. Same goes to ICO.

Regarding the 'is now a good time to invest in ICO', yea now might be a good time for it, market are recovering and I think it's stable already right now.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: February 15, 2018, 01:20:46 AM
Happy, fear, insecure, doubt, everything flowing on my mind. I can totally say that I regret my stupid decision not to buy more when it was on a super big discount!! Congratulations for those who bought the dip. You guys deserves it! and for those who didn't, don't be sad, you are not alone lol. I really need to make up my mind next time.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: February 11, 2018, 11:08:32 PM
I think the Blood-bath (correction) will never over as long as cryptocurrencies or any stocks investment exists. Especially crypto market which is highly fiolative, I think it will occurs again and again, not to mention those "weak hands" and "F.U.D" things in the crypto market which makes the prices drops down like waterfall. Although the blood-bath phenomena is common/healthy for me, still, I think the condition of the market is really unhealthy right now. Usually, the 'blood-bath' won't last so long, but this has been hapenning for weeks right now. In my opinion, the best is to stop investing until the market stabilize again.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any prediction for the Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 10:56:51 PM
I agree that bitcoin is highly fluctuative right now. And honestly, I afraid bitcoin has reached it's ATH before and it might never be that high anymore. In my opinion, I believe that 2018 will be the year of Altcoins and ICO, not bitcoin anymore.
Regarding the question, I think it's useless to ask it here because no one can really predict it for sure. Instead of listening to others, it's better to decide it yourself. My prediction is, bitcoin might rise again at the end of february although I think it won't be as frequent or as fast as before.

Still, trust no one.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: February 11, 2018, 10:13:40 PM
I don't understand what this "fake coins" are. But if you are referring this this to á "scam coin", then the best way to avoid this is to do your own research. Personally, I think it's not that hard to spot this "fake coin". Most of the time it has same schemes as the others scam coins which are : slow website / the work of the website looks so simple / plain, inactive team, no updates on development at all, hard to contact / reach the team, and the best way to spot it, which usually you can find on the others scam coins are : Too good to be true.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In Top Coins or The Others on: February 11, 2018, 09:59:22 PM
In my opinion, we should just diversify it.

It's true that the top 100 coins are more stable, but most of it won't be moving as fast as the lower market cap altcoin. As for me I'll probably invest 30% of my investment funds to one or two of the top 100 coins, and the rest 60% to coins with lower marketcap. There are lots of hidden GEMS or I'd say "sleeping giant" altcoins in those lower marketcap which can rise anytime unpredictably.

Eventhough I have to agree that it's riskier this way.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 09:48:57 PM
Most of the altcoins nowadays have same features as the others so we should be more cautius before investing our hard-earned money into it.

Basically, what encourages me to invest in an altcoin is what the project about, the team capacity like how experienced they are, and the transparency. The team professionality encourages me too, we can see it from the simple things like : how their website is done, how active the team, etc. Most of the time I'll try to find the most unique one though. And of course, altcoins with a real working products already would be awesome and more preferable!
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: February 10, 2018, 01:57:25 PM
There is always a possibility for this, no matter how much we hate it ( I mean the real crash, not just temporary crashes like before ).

In my opinion, since bitcoin is not regulated and a decentralised coin, the crashing would be very unlikely to happen, as long it still has usability for people. Still, the risk is always there, we can't really predict the future therefore things like this might happen. Just be safe and don't invest what you can't afford to lose. As long as we do this I think we'll be safe
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: February 08, 2018, 09:23:01 PM
Hard question... Most of the ICOs are scam out there. We should make a deeper research if we really want to invest in any of those ICOs.
Actually, there are plenty of good ICOs out there as well, even though mostly are too good to be true, but still, there are lots of good ICOs out there regardless.

Back to the question, I think yes I still believe in ICO. Although it's really risky and we should really careful but ICO is the new way to make quick profit. In my opinion, as long as we're not lazy to make our own research (like a real research, not just people-opinion-based-research), we should be safe.

I don't agree with the decreasement though, I think at least tens of new ICOs released each day, although most of it offers literally same features like the others (masternodes, standart p2p, etc).
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵[ANN] [ICO] Bills - rent a billboard without even leaving the office. on: February 07, 2018, 09:34:53 PM
Interesting project if the details provided by the website is true. Although I think it's too good to be true and the project itself is kinda shady. I have few questions please:

1. Bills is a technology that allows placing advertisements to an outdoor billboard located in any place of the world, within a couple of minutes
without even leaving the office > How is this possible?
2. The team is very shady, no information about it at all. Looks like pictures stolen from google. Can you provide us a video with your team in it?

Don't get me wrong, deep in my heart I really like this project because of it's uniqueness and I think this is the first of it's kind.
However, potential investors can't rely on "únique" alone. We need as much information as possible. No offense! Have a great day Smiley
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Etherium? on: February 07, 2018, 07:30:29 PM
Litecoin is just a mere copy of bitcoin, with a faster transaction speed. I agree that there is nothing litecoin can do but ethereum can't.
If I have to choose between these two, I'd pick ethereum over litecoin 1000% without a doubt. Ethereum has smart contracts feature which is really brilliant and trully unique. Also as there are lots of erc20 projects recently and much more in the future, this could add more value to ethereum as well.

Also there are many altcoins with literally the same feature as litecoin, which makes it not unique at all. In my opinion litecoin is really overvalued.
