Ethereum is a really good coin for long term investment. And it's currently on the dip! this coin without a doubt will do well in 2018 (because of many new ICOs that depends on the ETH system as it's wallet). Personally, I think the price is still low considering of how big their potential and the price would be in the future.

This coin is indeed popular, however, if I'm not mistaken, this coin is just a mere copy of Monero (XMR), right? I don't know why this coin is so famous though. Another overvalued coin.

With $10k I think it's possible. But I think it will take longer this time, maybe like few years (not guaranteed though) due to the prices.

I think, the best is to invest most of your money in a famous altcoins with a good, solid, and steady gain like ethereum. Then you can invest some of your money to ICOs too, if you find a good project that is. There are lots of 'sleeping giants' altcoins right now. We're just can't see through it. I hope you can get your million dollars!

50$ is really low, it would be very hard to get anything from it. Although it's possible, of course.

Back to the question, I'll probably invest it in a risky way. Like for example, participating in an ICO. I'll find a good ICO project and invest my $50 in it.

In my case, before I investing in any ICOs, I'll check their total supply first, then their whitepaper, then roadmap, then the team behind it, and the last but not least, their mission. I love an ICO with infographic pictures too, it makes me more confident to invest in it.

Early month is always the worst month for bitcoin, so I think holding it would be the best option!
But as for me, I invested all of my remaining bitcoin to altcoins right now. I love bitcoin, but I think altcoins are better at the moment.

Personally, I think this year is gonna be a hard year for bitcoin, simply because of altcoins. There are lots of interesting project right now.

Depends on what kind of "better" you are talking about.

In the term of investment, I'd say that both are very good for long term. The team behind these 2 coins are very good and capable on it's section.
But, if you are talking about the "function", I'd say EOS is better right now, with a super fast transaction speed, and many other good features.
Because as of now, tron still has no products yet (they are still developing), acceptable, considering they are very new.

And they both have different mission as well.

$5k is not a little money. You should do your own research and don't be lazy.

As for Tron (TRX), I think this coin is pretty good for long investment as well. You should definitely add this to your portfolio. I know it has no product right now, but soon there will be! They have a really good team behind this coin. They are also working really hard for the development!

There are few altcoins with a good masternode reward, such as Tokugawa (TOK), Solaris (XLR), LindaCoin (LINDA), etc.

But these coins are kinda expensive now, so I think you should try to find an ICO which offer a masternodes feature, while at the ICO, I believe the price shouldn't be that expensive. Try to do your own research!!

The site is actually pretty good and smooth, also with an eye-catchy interface. There are lots of low marketcap coins there too.

The only bad thing about cryptopia is just that they are very slow in responding to tickets (which can up to 12 days or even more)!
And it's really hard to contact them. But beside of this, the site is awesome!

ICO is always better, because the return is usually very high. However, lots of ICOs turned out to be a scam, therefore it's kinda risky to invest in ICO. But with altcoins, I think investing in altcoins are safer, but usually the return is not that high (unless you wait for a very long time). So, unless you know what you are investing in, altcoin is better.

I will hold the ethereum if I were you. Ethereum is the most unique altcoin right now, and I believe ethereum is the safest crypto coin to invest right now.
The price will definitely keep rising, and the price itself is not that fluctuative, unlike other crypto coins. Waves in the other hand, is not bad for investment as well, but ethereum is without a doubt is better than waves I think.
