221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins to moon 10-20x in 2018 on: May 13, 2018, 09:24:23 AM
EXRN - Check out that coin. It has been under the radar since it has been airdropped and it gained by x156 since then. The coin has a huge potential and a unique idea to back up the price increase.

I just checked EXRN in coinmarketcap and it has very low volume in daily basis. Also, It is not listed on major or either a decent exchange which gave me a negative feedback on it.
It is unwise to base a coin's potential only on it's market volume and exchanges that it is listed in.  If that were a good metric, OP would have just easily checked out a random coin on kucoin, throw some money in it and be done with it. But that is not the case. Coins that moon are the one's which goes unnoticed at first.

223  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin help out of school youth... on: March 05, 2018, 03:59:28 PM
Do you think Bitcoin can help out of school youth to finish their studies or not?
For me in some other way yes it will help . It will help young people to gain insight on how to earn money and how to value the money they earn. But it may also be the reason to them for not continuing their studies because they earn already a lot of money on bitcoin..

Not all out of school youth are helped by bitcoin, it can't help those who can't read and write. That's why we can't say that bitcoin can help any one financially.
But you see, those who can't read and write are actually not fond of schools in the first place. They are contented in working everyday to barely manage to survive so they are out of the question. And besides, bitcoin's goal isn't to help anyone financially.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: March 05, 2018, 03:51:09 PM
They will most likely accept it as a payment method when all the fear and negative impressions of the general public it has on it is gone. We all know how people use bitcoin to scam, I figured that they are sitting on the fence for now as they don't their company be the cause of many more people getting scammed nor they want to hinder the advancement of cryptocurrencies.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2018, 01:44:17 PM
First of all, I believe in its technology and what its trying to achieve i.e decentralization, being a new form of store of value and an alternative way to transfer money. Its price would just be an added bonus. I'm in this for the long run and I really do think cryptocurrencies are here to stay.

So its a fork of the old Bitcointalk?  Roll Eyes

Wala naman masama na dalawa ang source ng information; isa dyan sa site at isa dito. Kudos to you and whoever helped you made that forum, I think I'll register there, wala naman mawawala.

227  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Cryptocurrency as part of the syllabus in business courses on: March 02, 2018, 10:20:54 AM

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scam sites, Wizzle is a scam they did not pay on: March 02, 2018, 09:34:08 AM
Received my Wizzle tokens from the airdrop without a hitch, maybe you didn't follow the rules in the main telegram which is why you were kicked out? You can always pm the admin and ask about it.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs BTC on: March 02, 2018, 09:21:37 AM
I am biased towards Ethereum as it is continuously trying to improve and lots of potential can be realized in its platform. Bitcoin on the other hand is just at the top of the market cap because it is the pioneer of blockchain technology.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which upcoming ICOs are you most looking forward to? on: March 02, 2018, 08:51:14 AM
I'm looking forward to the Telegram ICO -- not that I'm going to invest (I probably wouldn't even make the minimum investment) I just want to see if they can actually hit their billion dollar mark.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the best altcoin on: March 02, 2018, 08:24:33 AM
The best Altcoin IMO (regardless of the price) is Ethereum. Basically it is in another league compared to bitcoin and is the progenitor of all Tokens with its smart contract implementation. It has one of the most active developers out there too and is continuously evolving.
233  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ba talaga ang profitable? on: February 28, 2018, 01:13:35 PM

My two satoshis, good luck!
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks admit they fear BTC on: February 26, 2018, 04:00:08 PM
Of course they fear bitcoin, it is decentralized-- contradicting their core motives. Something is brewing underneath and the cryptomarket is just waiting for the right timing until banks totally give proper recognition that bitcoin deserves.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Twitter Scammers on: February 26, 2018, 03:58:23 PM
But in retrospect, people will learn from this and be smarter in the future. Some mistakes are necessary and some lessons are indeed expensive but at the cost of learning.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Relation between Altcoin and BTC on: February 24, 2018, 11:33:54 PM
This might have something to do with alts being traded in pair with bitcoin. If perhaps the price of alts are paired with USD, we might see a more diverse market of different cryptos independent of the price of bitcoin.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: February 24, 2018, 11:25:58 PM
The idea behind it plays the largest part in the valuation of an altcoin. Makes sense that the demand will slump if it has no actual use cases. IMO, the total supply is irrelevant; see ripple for example.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to choose ico that is not a scam? i newbie many ask on: February 24, 2018, 11:11:08 PM
A project managed by a good and trusted member of this forum is often an indicator of a great project. But of course that is just from an initial inspection. You can further research the team and their profile (if it is faked of not) and most of all evaluate if the project really has a good and viable idea.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many different cryptocoins we need on: February 24, 2018, 02:43:20 PM
We already have enough coins/tokens for this level of adoption. Maybe after a few years we'll find actual use cases for these coins or most probably, they would be shaken out of the market eventually. Either of the two events are a win.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: February 24, 2018, 02:42:49 PM
It can also be a safe haven for people under a country with hyper-inflation. Bitcoin is volatile, yes, but it is a lot better than deteriorating the buying power of your assets.
