Any exchanges besides NovaExchange? I wish to buy a couple a hundred onions but I heard that the only exchange where onions are traded are disabled for new registrations.
I believe it the only one, sadly enough. I for one is looking forward to a listing on another exchange. Maybe after the airdrops are finished first? ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Right now, Nova is the only exchange where you can buy or sell this coin. Up until last week it was closed to new registrants, but it is open now. I registered about a month ago and have bought onion on three occasions there with positive experiences each time.

I would vote yes for this, sounds like a beast of a machine. How much would something like this run in terms of $$?

I am not super familiar with LTC but would definitely recommend buying some ethereum and holding onto it! I currently mine it, and hold all of what I am able to mine. Have been happy with this coin so far, and definitely hope to see this continue to rise in the future!

NovaExchange is run by one guy. A friend of mine knows the guy who runs it. I can attest that although the site may not have the best usability, it is reliable.
all that is based on only one person can not be reliable. I have purchased onion using nova exchange a few times over the last 3 weeks, and have had positive experiences each time. I would still love to see it hit some other exchanges as the demand for this coin is clearly huge. More accessibility, more buyers and sellers!! Let's get them any way we can for now and hold on to them!

Is there going to be any changes to the Airdrop? I registered on the 10th of Sept.
It's possible that maybe you can join the airdrop in the future. Until last week you needed a BCT Account registered before july 12th then they changed it to september 1st. So it's possible or even likely that in a few weeks this date will change again. Thanks, how often are Airdrops? airdrops are weekly, and happen on fridays

I love this coin! Have continuously bought it since I first came across it. The only coins I have gotten rid of so far were to enter lotteries in order to try and win more LOL! So far haven't hit on any of the lottos but hoping I get some good luck TOMORROW when it is drawn!! If anyone else wants in here is the lottery I am entered into. https://deeponion.org/community/threads/3rd-deeponion-lottery-multiple-winners.3157/Good Luck to all who decide to enter!!

Awesome to see how the value of this coin is rising!! I believe what we are seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg for DO! There is definitely a HUGE demand for it out there! Great seeing all the action today. Excited to see where this goes, I better get some more now!

What I learned when I was a Noob. (Actually, I’m still a Noob!)
1. Price and predictions: o Avoid any posts are videos claiming that this coin is going to the moon. Don’t be a sucker for someone else’s delusion o Research previous prices for Bitcoin and others. I’m talking 1 to 10 years. That will put what is happening now into the proper perspective. o The price of GPU’s will never go down. Yeah, right. o The price of coins will never lose 90% of its value. Everything always goes up in price. /sarc
2. Mining, research and experimentation. o Have at least 2 cards to mine with. They don’t have to be top cards, just something to play with. o Use one card to setup wallets and experiment with various coins. Is your wallet getting your coins? o Experiment and gain experience by mining different coins with one card. Use the other card to mine at an auto miner like NiceHash. Note the differences. If you make some money, great. o Understand the various miners, how they operate, which brand GPU do they work best with (AMD or Nvidia). o If don’t understand something RESEARCH. Your question has probably been answered 100 times on the many different forums. o Research the various coins. Read/watch videos about the blockchain.
3. Who will stay mining. o Those who understand that it is a lot of WORK to mine. o Those who understand that crypto is constantly changing. o Those who understand you won’t get rich overnight, tho it does happen.
I’m sure there are many more that could fit on this list. Feel free to add your insights. I’m new at this mining business but I do enjoy it immensely. The more I learn, the more fun it becomes.
Awesome Post, I am still a newbie but have learned a lot these past months mining. It definitely is a lot of work especially during the set up phase and like anything else is not a get rich quick scheme, but I do love it for the flexibility and the constant income coming in once you have it set up. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, in fact I want to keep growing my operation!!

Is this coin completely untraceable and anonymous for sending and receiving payments?
Not only is it untraceable and anonymous, it is also the fastest and cheapest way out there to send or receive payments! Transactions are immediate, and cost nearly nothing to complete!! Definitely something worth getting into! Sooner than later with the prices starting to rise the way they are!

forums are not loading for me,do we have an upgrade coming?
was noticing the same thing but seems to be back to normal now!

I use claymore's dual miner and am satisfied with it's performance and flexibility.

Agreed! I am not in the airdrop for that coin either but also purchased quite a bit of this coin and plan on holding long term. I see this going up in value and hope it's the next big hit!

I am using AMD gpu's dual mining ethereum and sia. I definitely like the results of the ethereum but not too excited about sia, and am thinking of either switching sia out as a secondary for decred or just putting all the power towards mining ethereum.

I believe it is still worth mining. I think the price of this coin will continue to rise steadily and in the meantime, I plan on mining and accumulating as much of it as I can. When difficulty becomes too high, we can always have our miners work for a different coin.

I have actually bought some of this coin twice, and plan on continuing to hold it. I don't know what you mean about it starting at $4... both times I have purchased it, I did so around the $1-1.25 price point. I plan to hold this coin and believe this will be a worthwhile investment.

My vote is definitely with myetherwallet. User friendly, quick, and secure. Don't really see a need to use anything else for my Ether.

If you have that kind of money to invest, I would say start mining Ethereum. If you don't want to go the mining route, this is a great coin to purchase as well. Lots of future growth.
