221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: July 10, 2021, 03:25:15 PM
There is a popular saying amongst gamblers that says "Let the odds be in our favor" irrespective of religious beliefs people say this to themselves because of the reassuring feeling it gives them. Does it make things work in their favor? I honestly can't say but at the same time I can't discourage such rituals
As long as those rituals doesn't hurt anybody and the gambler is doing it for his sake without any interruption to other people. The odds will be definitely in the favor of the gambler if he's truly lucky on that day.
But we'll never know if such prayers have been answered on that day but it just contradicts religious aspects if it's connected with gambling.
Indeed. It is ironic how gamblers pray before placing bets whereas in the Bible, there are teachings that talk about the sin being made by the people when they get involved in gambling and any other vices. But of course, we all have no rights to judge other people since we all have our fair of committing sins, we all have equally sinned.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: July 10, 2021, 02:43:03 PM
This days there are so many tokens appearing with a very large total supply, tokens like this are often called "Shit-coin/shit-token".
Many people say that this benefits the crypto world, but there are also those who say that it actually make the crypto world looks bad.

What do you guys think about this issue ?
Actually, those shitcoins or shit tokens were useless compared to the real coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum and other coins which has a purpose but this kind of coins has a large market cap but the use of these coins were useless at all and did not worth investing for. So, in other words you cannot choose this coins as an investment but maybe just for a quick profit and just go with the hype. That's my opinion about these coins that's popping out of nowhere.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: July 10, 2021, 02:10:26 PM
It didn't change my life entirely but my perspective in life especially in earning, I didn't think that you would be able to earn in cryptocurrency a big amount of money by just facing on computer rather than working in real life and also it changes my perspective about investment and savings there's a lot of lessons I've learned in cryptocurrency not just about cryptocurrency but on the life in general.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 10, 2021, 01:53:23 PM
Some people of course just to fulfill their signature requirement and some people are interested about sports since there's no section here about sports discussion only gambling discussion so you can't really tell which users are into gambling, sports or fulfilling their signature but no matter what I think if they are participating to discussion and not spamming there's no problem to it.

In my case, I'm a gambler and sometimes I get information here in the gambling section and at the same time fulfilling my duty to the signature campaign where I'm currently enrolled to.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 09, 2021, 04:38:54 PM
thats the best kind of loan to collect and invest into crypto because no pressure and interest rate to pay back within a stipulated time. you can buy more especially if there is more dips. if you are currently in profits then dont rush to invest more now.
There’s a good and bad debt, you have to categorize this as a good one because its for investment purposes, the risk is there but if you are confident enough about the market then its your call, just don’t push yourself beyond your limit, that’s not healthy anymore if its beyond that. If its profit, take it and reinvest it so you won’t need to borrow money to anyone, just use that funds until it becomes big money.
By indulging oneself in procuring loans or debts to be used for investment, one must be wise enough in making decisions. It is risky to resort to this way, and also to have a too high expectation, so probability of gaining profits must be studied hard. If something unfortunate happens, money would not be the only thing that is loss but also the relationship and trust of families and relatives.
226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: July 09, 2021, 04:33:29 PM
technical analysis or so-called chart analysis, where we analyze the candles that have been formed. some use trend lines, some use indicators, etc. I think this is used according to the tastes of each trader. In essence, technical analysis is a way of approaching the market so that we can predict where the market will go
Your explanation is correct. But not only technical analysis is used, but fundamental analysis is also needed to see what trend will happen next. Because technical and fundamental analysis have a relationship that will affect market prices. Technical analysis has various types using many indicators that can be chosen according to your wishes. One of the platforms that are very helpful for conducting technical analysis is the TradingView platform which is provided with many indicators to choose from and there is also a premium account available to access its premium features.
These analyses are essential for the information and ideas that they provide with regards to the movement in the market. However, despite the data being presented, these cannot be treated as sole predictors of what is coming next since these are not hundred percent accurate and are just tools to help to have a basis in making rated decisions.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 09, 2021, 04:25:30 PM
Gamblers don't realize they are addicted to gambling until it's worse which they've done unthinkable already like breaking the piggybank of his kid just so he could gamble again. But you as a gambler can also notice it to yourself before you get to the worse situation like selling valuables like jewelry so you could play again.

Is seeking a new strategy or thinking of betting while you are sleeping signs of addiction? If not, what are little signs that unfold you are becoming a gambling addict?

I don't call it a sign of gambling addiction as long as it does not affect your normal way of living. it's normal to think of strategies to win and you can sometimes take that in your sleep, that only means you are a challenge and you'll continue to find ways to win in gambling. I have this kind of experience sometimes but I know I'm not a gambling addict, I just love to challenge myself.
I think that it is just normal to think of ways to level up and improve one’s strategies when gambling. However, if the person is constantly and solely focused about gambling, especially when eagerness to go on and to risk everything that could be used to gamble with, then maybe it is an addiction that starts to kick in.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fighting Game Betting on: July 09, 2021, 04:17:50 PM
Are there any betting sites that are offering odds for fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken or Injustice 2 out there? Kind of like watching competitive of this games and trying to do bets with it and my friend is asking if there's one so in a way, this is his question that I am relaying.

Check this article https://www.topesportsbettingsites.com/games/mortal-kombat/ and you will possibly find the betting sites which offer the variety of choice that you are inquiring  here and quietly I'm surprise that  there's  betting options like this since I didn't know that we can bet on video games like the one you ask here. Oh by the way the one I search on google is mortal kombat only so kindly check if other games you ask are listed on the site suggested by that article.
Thank you for sharing this article, there is quite a lot to see actually. Although I am curious if anyone has ever known this site before and had an actual experience betting with such? Anyone who had such experience, I would love to hear your stories. And I think that gamblers who are also E-Sports lovers will do as well.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 09, 2021, 04:11:28 PM
We can still allocate assets to cryptocurrencies without a problem and we can choose to invest in bitcoin or altcoin. But you should use bitcoin for your main investment and use altcoin for a secondary investment. Bitcoin can work as a short and long-term investment but altcoin will be good for a short-term investment. If you see the altcoin start moves to the high price, that will be the sign for you to sell your altcoin and wait for the next downtrend to buy the altcoin again. The altcoin can give you a profit besides bitcoin, so if you have potential altcoin, you can expect to profit from the altcoin.
I agree with you. I would also personally choose Bitcoin as a main investment then make altcoin a secondary choice for investment. Of course, in choosing what altcoin to invest with, I must research on what is the coin that has the most potential of producing profit so I could maximize the opportunity. Some might see the crypto industry as messy because of the numerous coins and projects existing and being introduce, but this is just a diversification that also present diverse opportunities.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: July 09, 2021, 03:43:49 PM
Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

I just wanted to tell you that money is a sensitive thing for everyone and also where they will invest. My mindset "invest in something you understand", when you don't understand and have no confidence then don't do it. This may also experienced by your dad, don't force someone to invest in a platform that they don't understand where their assets will go.
That is a good principle in investing, to invest in something that you fully understand. Any investment entail risk, and cryptocurrency is among of those with high risks due to its volatile nature. It is understandable as well that older generation are not that fond of crypto unlike with younger generation as it is also closely related in understanding with the utilization of technologies.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should we do in the sideways market of Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2021, 03:47:42 PM
Most of the market's revenue is completed in a short period of time. Most of the time it is horizontal. The sideways market is actually the best time to stock up. Normally, at the end of a sideways market, you will always feel that the window period is too short. Short positions are very dangerous because they are really easy to miss. Be able to hold Bitcoin firmly, trade on the left, do not bet on trends, and do not choose timing. Hold the currency firmly.

I agree, just holding for now seems like the best idea. If we have some spare money we could use it to trade in alt coins market. But if we don't have any other funds, we could consider just selling some of the bitcoins and start trading alt coins instead. The thing with sideway markets is that we don't know when they are going to end. There could be a sudden news of a billionaire who starts buying bitcoins in large amounts, then overnight the price would sky rocket again. Leaving at least some money in the bitcoin market secures us a profit for the next rally.
Yes, holding is the safest move also when things are really uncertain just like this. Although, I would also want to buy more coins when they are cheap at this moment, but of course after a thorough research on its potentials. These times are really tricky and one wrong move can make drastic consequences so patience must also be practiced.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: July 08, 2021, 03:39:21 PM
Saving is the hardest part of our life, especially when we just only get enough for our necessities. I couldn't say that they don't have a better future but something they miss the best opportunity of their life.

Maybe we are so thankful that we have been given a chance to invest in crypto as not all have the capabilities to do this. If I would like to save, I certainly have to invest this rather than keeping on my wallet or deposited it in the bank. It doesn't matter if I don't have real money in my pocket but al least I have some investment that could save me and give me profit in the future.

Because for me, Invest now, save later.
I get your idea, and I also think the same. Instead of saving, which could mean that it will be just be how it was when you saved it, then investing it is much better because it can produce profit. And when profits are gained, then saving it would be good. Although it is true that saving is needed before a person could even make an investment.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 08, 2021, 03:27:29 PM
I am asking this because I do have some short of an answer for videogames and for massive multiplayer games and even for social network oriented games. Videogames require a great design, good difficulty grading, an story that engages the user, massive multiplayer and network oriented are a lot about the interactions and how varied and fun these are. However, for casino games, it would seem that these factors are not really the most important ones. You can see games with very basic graphics and design, simple in the options for the player and not that engaging yet they do "hook" people in them.
What do these games have to have for you?

The developer of the gambling site does not need to offer great design to attract players, because players opted to play for bonuses and perks and of course reputation, it's different from a gaming site, which needs to attract gamers from the design because these gamers are playing for fun and not for profit, casinos gamers always check the potential profit that they are going to get.
I could not agree more with you. Needless to say, casino games are far different from video games whereas design and graphics are primarily checked on. In casino games, the consideration that must be prioritized to make gamblers be hooked with it, are the profit and bonuses that one can obtain.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 08, 2021, 03:16:54 PM
Online gambling does not have strict supervision even though they access it from countries that prohibit gambling, because if countries that prohibit gambling have strict regulations then of course online gambling will not grow in countries that prohibit gambling. There are so many game applications nowadays that involve gambling in them and it continues to grow at this time but unfortunately, when minors are involved in online gambling I am just worried that they have no control and of course it will have a bad impact in the future.
Yes, moreover, we can see how many online gambling sites that promote by online advertisements? we can find out so many advertisement every time we are opening certain platforms or sites.
Moreover, if we are new to gambling, we will feel interested in how many people won gambling (without considering the fact actually).
However, I am also sure that most reasons playing online gambling become more popular is because of the easy ways to gamble and bet on the platform, without any worries because restricted by the countries, and also the easiness to play gambling online, without going at the real place. So, we can still be anonymous or not event known by other members.
It becomes easy to bet without limits because there is no strict supervision from the government, that's true, we know that online gambling sites are now rampant with lots of ads and with anonymous domains to avoid detection from the government. Gambling online he will forget everything and also always drain money without thinking about the risks in it.

So access to gambling sites is now quite easy and this is without limits, let alone a ban on IP so this will continue to grow according to the increasingly popular era with online gambling, not only in crypto but with local currency it can also be done in online gambling, and now it has many provide e-wallet as a transaction to avoid banking.
The easy access on gambling sites nowadays, is the most appealing aspect that drives more people into online gambling. The popularity of online gambling is very much evident in my country as many businesses shifted endeavors into online gambling now. Although this easy and unrestricted access has provided many privileges and benefits to both gamblers and casino owners, this heightens the risks for gambling addiction and money laundering as well.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will never be gone on: July 08, 2021, 03:07:03 PM
As long as there would be people who will believe and trust Bitcoin, it will never be gone. Bitcoin has created a good name and strong foundation of trust already so I believe that it will continue to grow and develop and there will still be more adoptions in the future. Bitcoin has a huge potential and it's continuously proving its worth. I'm actually expecting more from it in the coming years.
I agree with you that as long as people patronize Bitcoin, it will exist. But considering that the sustainability of an entity is not a guaranteed matter, there is still a possibility that Bitcoin can stop existing. It is possible that it can either be replaced with something much modernized and better or people would stop patronizing it, which no one could tell when these could exactly happen.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people who ban Bitcoin in some countries give up Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2021, 11:30:21 AM
I think that some people would rethink and possible give up any involvement to crypto, if doing so will be subjected to some legal violations in their respective countries. For instance, when China announced its move to ban crypto, has made an impact to market price, thus it can be interpreted that there are number of Chinese who gave it up, temporarily hopefully. If I were to be in this situation, I would also lessen any trackable involvement with crypto but would not really give it up.
237  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com signature campaign (open) on: July 07, 2021, 08:34:55 PM
Hello 1xbit manager I see that the spreadsheet was updated already. I have a concern, why my week 6 status only have 10 eligible post? May I ask which posts were not counted?
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: July 03, 2021, 04:19:52 PM
I have had a fair share of having experiences of being scammed, through which due to my lack of diligence and impulsiveness. These experiences happened inside and outside of crypto, and these have taught me hard-learned lessons to not trust easily and always be doubt first then research or even ask for proofs and all.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: July 03, 2021, 04:16:02 PM
like now is a very bad time for altcoins, especially for holders. but behind it all, now is the time to invest in altcoins. rest assured that in the future altcoin prices will continue to improve

Altcoins are still following the bitcoin price, this is an opportunity to start again holding after yesterday's profit because the highest price increase has now fallen quite deep so don't waste this opportunity
Yes, this a good time to take the opportunity to invest especially with the current price. Many are losing faith when it comes to down times but as they see there is an opportunity in every opportunity if you will seek for it. And always remember to be patient and observe.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: July 03, 2021, 04:04:55 PM
On the other hand, I don't understand why everyone is so angry about these verifications, it's not like the casino will expose your data to the media,

It's because it's not how crypto-gambling sites should be. It's totally different from other crypto platforms like crypto exchanges. Gamblers shift into crypto gambling because of the advantages of using crypto. Gambling sites should not be mandated just like the crypto exchanges.

KYC shouldn't be a necessary requirement when we want to play on crypto-gambling sites. Remember that there are lots of gambling sites and on average, we do gamble to at least more than 5 of them.

Will you comply with KYC at all sites you are using if they will ask you to do it even you are just a casual gambler or small bettor?

I think that anonymity is one of the only benefits you could get from using a cryptocurrency gambling site, so if you don't have that then you might as well be gambling with fiat money. On that note, it works both ways - I am happy to gamble on a site that has built up a solid reputation with active support, regardless of where their operation is based, however I am definitely not comfortable handing over personal documents to such a company. Identity theft is a very real threat that can cause a lot of ruin and handing over such verification documents can lead to a whole load of problems for you in future if they leak out to the wrong people.
I see where you are coming from and I totally agree with what you said. Although I would also play and provide a KYC if asked by a reputable company of a crypto-casino, it will never make me confident and secured that my information goes out there and is known by someone else with the risk of being leaked or used for ill faith purposes.
