I cant enforce enough the word CHEAP; I'm looking for an AM2 system to be used mainly for web surfing..
Sempron, a gig or 2 of ram, 120/250 gig drive, PSU and obviously an AM2 board with hopefully build in video..
Wireless b/g card is a plus..

6950 DCUIIs on crossfire, OC'ed to 880, 670mh/s max, wont go over that as I dont want to fry them and my PSU cannot handle the extra voltage..

So it looks like all of the promotional keys are now null and void.
AMD stated that they will honor all the codes, however I'm not sure how exactly they'll do that. I redeemed one of the codes I bought through AMD's website, but I didn't redeem the Steam key. It was in the list of 2m keys I downloaded, so I would imagine someone probably pilfered it. Hopefully they sort it out because otherwise I'm out a key.  I believe he meant all the codes redeemed from this point forward.. |

user: SHIFT SHIFT offered to sell me a PSP battery that was, in his words, "working and brand new." I paid the equivalent of ~$15 in BTC (1.7). The battery that arrived was broken and in no sort of original packaging. SHIFT clearly had broken one of the small, plastic tabs off that hold the battery in place. It also seems he tried to pry the battery open judging from the scratch marks along the side. SHIFT most likely tried to mod the battery into a Pandora battery or similar. In the process he broke off the plastic tab and bricked the battery. He then proceeded to sell it to me without conscience. I think I might have to second SHlFT as a scammer. I bought an iPhone 3GS off of him 3 weeks ago and it still has yet to arrive and there is no proof of shipment. Not a good first experience in the community, losing 22 BTC. Beware! Maged, make this a sticky, I believe this guy wont be leaving anytime soon..
He has to understand he will eventually make a mistake if he doesn't stop what he is doing, and when that time comes, he will have to deal with the fury of several dozens of people here.. I personally hopes this happens..

It's not 100% about profit.
If bitcoin lacks features and bug fixes and price over time there will be a move to alt-chains.
If that happens then the alt chain will be more profitable, because more people will be buying the coins. So if it does happen I'll switch over to whatever the most profitable chain is. And if that happens more and more btc mods will come, making investment impossible.. No thanks.. |
