There are so many nonsensical airdrops these days that the crypto-air is now soooo full of useless dust  Cheesy
We would need now a new thread called INTERESTING AIRDROPS.
Sounds Good.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 22, 2017, 01:22:35 PM
There is still a project on the online: Ethereum X. I would like to participate in this project but they want you to have a minimum of 0.05 ethereum in your wallet.
this is a really high amount for me. this value is increasing day by day and I do not understand why
I'm participating in this. But still hasn't been out to exchanges yet. It looks legit, but you never know..
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 21, 2017, 08:19:26 PM

Thanks for the processor details guys.  I have made it through the first 10 pages of the thread and hope to get through the rest of the pages this weekend and have a spreadsheet up by monday.  Then I'll start crunching the data.

If anyone missed my last post please post your processor model (like i7 4200x) and the max combined hashrate you can get and how many threads you are running (if you know that).  Also I suppose the processor generation (like gen 3) if you know that.   I will look up all the processors and determine the clock speed and mb cache and all that (if you want to provide that too it would be great just as a double check).

Thanks.

anybody has a lot of "stratum link failure" from pool?

I have many on 2 pools
But can be normal for me it look like Bilbotel and AntminePool are Europe based and i'm in Canada

I have few on N-Engine (USA based i think, then better for me)
But i have more since few days while was perfect before.

Yes, I tried the pools for a bit then went back to solo mining due to constant errors. I like leaving it up to luck more anyway plus it supports the network.

Agree, solo mining is better
I like what you've done with your site man https://cryptoservices.net/en/. Good job

Anyone got a different miner or GPU miner working yet?

GPU mining is not likely to be worth the effort/power costs, if this algo limits GPU performance as much as yescrypt does it will be about 3-5X slower than CPU mining. Surprisingly the best miner for me is the wallet's setgenerate command, the cpuminer-opt is about 20% slower for me. I'm sure someone with better skills than me can create an even more optimized CPU miner eventually.
Are you saying wallet's setgenerate command is faster than cpuminer-opt?
This is impossible, what operating system are you using?
Actually its not impossible. This certain algo seems to give better hashrates from wallet itself. I have tried with gpu and it seems it does give lower hashrates

searching about Superb airdrop system on google... results nothing.

Actually when they don't make any sense the posts are from a BOT trying to farm the account so it can be used for sig campaigns and airdrops, probably so they can put the account up for sale. Just report posts like these that make no sense as off topic.

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UralsCoin - Vending currency. Masternodes. XEVAN Algo. No ICO. Airdrop. on: November 18, 2017, 10:21:40 AM
what does vending currency mean?
I have sames a question! Can you show more info about project to all member here
First coin with masternode and Xevan is Bitsend! Now is a good coin!
I hope this coin have sames BSD in next year!
Exactly! Bitsend is good one, the first xevan-algorithmed coin. Solaris might be another good one, too. For now, we also have Vsync, Uralscoin, etc which has been build on Xevan. I have the same question of hdtqisg, what is vending currency? Would you mind giving me more details/ explanation about the term? It seems to hard to understand, at least with me. Thanks dev.

Dev:

"we order and received 2 raspberries from China, with LCD screens

today I'm ordering vending hardware without box - controller, engine, etc
order time 10-12 days
then we need to integrate protocols of AtMega16(at vending) and raspberry

no, we made an intergation of blockchain payments into existing machines
this integration gives an easier way to process payments
reduce cache payments with real money

urals may  be used to pay with its own, or to be used as a processing layer - with transparent conversion
when the payments will be tested - we need to find all advantages and troubles in current version of protocol

and, later, maybe it will be modified to complify project targets

it's the role of it's current network. The ability to process payments in other currencies using this current blockchain for operations"

******

This is current news about what devs are doing. They are more like working on coin real use and behind the curtain, and not so much on wallets, coin itself and all that stuff. They want to bring it to real use.

Also Yobit listing has been paid, now they need to wait for Yobit to list.

Cheers!
This coin is added in my two favorites
