221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the Ethereum Gas Fee go down? on: February 14, 2021, 09:51:36 PM
It's so difficult to make a single transactions now under Ethereum blockchain. A very high gas fees are killing small investors and traders. But miners would love to see gas fees going to the moon because they benefited from it. However, this is not good for Ethereum in the long run, their users/consumers are suffering but their miners are enjoying this high gas fees.
Also, Ethereum competitors will surely grab this high gas fees opportunity. It's not good.
When will the Ethereum gas fee go down? Anyone knows?

When will Ethereum gas fee go down? Maybe soon maybe nevermaybe try a new blockchain  Cheesy, no one can tell when this crazy gas fees war will end, but Tbh it doesn't look good for Ethereum Network cause it will definitely get to a point when users will get tired of it and move to a blockchain that is faster with zero or no fees needed to perform any transaction, it seems eth now is for the rich people alone, small investors like us can't afford to pay those high gas fees.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: February 14, 2021, 09:35:59 PM
I know the crypto market can be quite unpredictable at times, strange things happen at times, sometimes you see a token with no real use case giving more profits than the so called promising project, but in dogecoin case its seems it going to be a hard target to hit, cuz the circulating supply of dogecoin is something else a whooping 160+ billion in circulation, hitting $1 will take more than just Elon Musk's tweets and wallstreetbets(WSB) to do that.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: February 13, 2021, 10:59:14 PM
Yeah, I also came across this tweet while scrolling through my Twitter news feed, he said he bought it for his son, it caused a little fomo though, but not much increase in dogecoin price as its still low, lately it's seems the crypto sphere has caught the attention of many large investors around the world, we have seen how large investors just keep coming into the crypto sphere, e.g Elon, Jack Dorsey even Jay Z has come to see the light in crypto,at this rate mass adoption will happen in no time.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: February 12, 2021, 11:10:44 PM
You're literally asking me to choose between taking bck my investment with very little profit added to it and taking back my money in x100 in the future, of course I will pick bitcoin over gold, cause bitcoin has alot of edge over gold  e.g bitcoin max supply is capped at 21million whereas gold will still continue to be mined with no cap supply, meaning since gold is a natural resource I doubt if miners will be able to mine all the gold on earth, it's not possible right?, so that's the more reason why I will pick bitcoin because it limited to that 21million max supply.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doggy take over — Elon Musk? on: February 12, 2021, 10:38:09 PM
It seems Elon Musk's tweets are now market movers, becuz each time he tweeted about dogecoin these past few days, it eventually pumps really high, seems like his followers will literally do anything he talks about, just like when he added bitcoin hashtag to his Twitter bio, we saw the longest green candle in the history of bitcoin over $7500+ pump in one day, although the dogecoin token burn can't happen but if it's possible and he announced it, better buy some dogecoin before then (not a financial advise though), LOL.Tongue
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Richest Man in Mexico Updates his Twitter Bio to Include Bitcoin on: February 12, 2021, 10:09:41 PM
"The third wealthiest man in Mexico, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, has updated his Twitter biography to include Bitcoin. This move has picked up a trend among high ranking investors in the cryptocurrency, including BTC whales such as Michael Saylor and  Anthony Scaramucci."

Source
https://mycryptoparadise.com/third-richest-man-in-mexico-updates-his-twitter-bio-to-include-bitcoin/

Seems this is the new trend now, large investors are all adding the #BTC hash tag to their bio to show their support for bitcoin, alot of people are now adding it to their bio too, seems everyone is bullish on bitcoin  Grin.
Who do you think will be following in their footsteps? Will these steps promote mass adoption? Your thought?!
Probably their loyal followers who see them as mentors and are ready to follow their footsteps, just like Elon Musk's followers who are ready to buy any coin he talks about, just like when he talked about doge all his followers went and bought it same thing with when he added bitcoin to his profile, no doubt this is increasing the rate of mass adoption of bitcoin around the world.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to set nightly stop limit sell orders before you go to bed? on: February 12, 2021, 09:38:36 PM
I have woken up to some surprises some good some bad. If you are day trading and not planning on going long but are actively trading daily, before you go to bed each night should you put some stop limit sell orders in just incase it crashes over night especially when we have seen the price double this month,
No doubt using a stop loss in a trade is really important, this is one of the mistakes I made back then when I started trading, I usually take on trades without using stop loss, and just as you said it I woke up to a liquidation alert on my phone, so every trader needs to make use of this tool while trading to avoid 100% loss.
is it just common sense to set orders for your worst case scenario before you go to bed or plan on not being able to trade for twelve hours or so?
I think it's wise to always use a stop loss when your about to go to bed and you still an open position, cuz due to how volatile the crypto market is anything can happen at any time, maybe during a flash crash using a stop loss will be really helpful.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I messed up and feel terrible about it on: February 12, 2021, 08:02:07 PM
I messed up, big time. I don't think I've messed up that much in a long time.
I sold my almost last bit of Bitcoin I had, (about 0.03 BTC), during yesterday's new all-time high at approximately 37.000 Euros. It's definitely a small amount, close to nothing, especially when comparing to what you guys probably have, but I totally screwed up.

I did it thinking that the price would crash later on, then proceed to spend that money to buy more Bitcoin, but I don't see that happening. I should have kept my balance intact, 0.03 BTC would still be 0.03 BTC, now, in order to buy back I'd have to spend way more money than I would. I think that I might be panicking way too much for nothing, I mean it can't continue rising forever, but the thought of regret is eating me.

I believe there are alot people having this same feeling right now, especially the people who thought when bitcoin hits 20k it was going to fall again like it did in 2017 but it didn't, so don't sweat it there's not much you can do now than to wait and hope for the price to dip, then you buy back your bitcoin and hold it this time, so don't feel too sad the price will eventually retrace and from there, you could even be lucky and buy back more bitcoin than you sold, so just hold on to that money (you can add a little more  Wink) and buy back more bitcoin if it eventually dips.

230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2021, 11:39:00 AM
LTC, Ethereum, BCH, or other altcoins; which ones will be used in combination with Bitcoin in the digital future ahead of us?
It's Ethereum for me the king of all altcoins out there, it's the only altcoin that always try to show strength whenever bitcoin is pumping while others dump, eth follows bitcoin movements its just like a king (BTC) and a prince (ETH), litecoin also tries to follow bitcoin movements but not as much as eth, the only issue people find in eth this days is the high cost for gas fees, it's something that should be fixed before it gets out of hand, apart from that bitcoin and Ethereum are the right combination.
231  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 Billion in Bitcoin! on: February 10, 2021, 12:59:49 AM
Bad news for people that invest their hard-earned money just because someone said something on a social platform. I am so over feeling sorry for people that still invest in that way. For others that look at this whole crypto thing as a long-term commitment, someone hyping a coin or some big shot name buying another means Jack shit. Heroes and Villains, role models...we are talking about CEOs of multinational companies, please let's not look to them as role models. At best let's judge their companies on what good day do to our society, if any. If I look at this more positively, this could be a nice step forward to get others to invest their capital into projects that revolve around crypto.
Definitely a bad news for those his followers who always rush to buy dogecoin each time he tweets about it,Elon is a smart investor after advertising dogecoin multiple times he went ahead to invest in bitcoin, it's really funny how people fomo and buy the dogecoin each time he tweet anything related to it, I bet alot of them have lost their money after rushing to buying tha dogecoin, this should serve as a lesson to that they shouldn't always rush to buy to cryptocurrency each time a public figure talks about it.
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading site? on: February 09, 2021, 11:29:03 PM
I know bittrex wasn't accepting registration for new members back then, but I don't know about binance not accepting new members, but if that was actually the case, then there are alot of exchanges out there looking for new members e.g Kraken and Kucoin , but be careful cause they are some fake/phished exchanges out there that will only allow you to deposit your crypto, but if you try to withdraw they  won't allow you to withdraw, so while accessing any exchange make sure it's the  exchange is verified and not a phished page so you won't loose your funds to scammers.
233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast ways to lose money trading on: February 09, 2021, 10:27:06 PM
👉No stop loss: This happened to me once. I lost a chunk of my capital. Stop loss was created for a purpose use it for every one of your trade.
Not using a stop loss while trading is like driving a car on a high way without any brake pads, that car is band to crash, same thing goes for trading cuz the market is so volatile and unpredictable, you can't predict it right so knowing and using your risk to reward management is very important, just incase things don't go the other way round you can lose only a small amount of the capital you used for that particular trade.
👉Cut winners fast: Don't be greedy!! Collect your profits.
After I lost a $14 profit and got rekt'd later on, I start taking profits whenever I see one, to avoid repeating the same mistake of hoping the market will work hard to get me my desired profit.
234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Crypto Pump Island a scam or legit? on: February 09, 2021, 10:10:41 PM
hey guys,
i found this group called "Crypto Pump Island" on telegram..
They are doing Pump and Dumbs....and are selling a Premium Membership.
So my question is: is this Premium Group worth it ? And has anyone of you any expierences with this premium group ?
thanks in advantage
That's a red flag for me, for your own good it's best you stay away from all those so called pump and dump groups on telegram, 99% of them will help you get rekt'd faster, I know this because I have a friend who actually paid to join a Telegram group that claimed they will be dishing out trade signals, it didn't take too long he told me he lost a very huge amount of money(~$600) following their trade signals, so don't pay to join their shitty group else you will might get rekt.
Yeah it's a big red flag. Happened to me also 3 years ago when I just started crypto. Only one who is getting profit from there is the one who is calling pumps cause he buys first and for the rest is usually bad time and bad investments.
Sorry about that, but that's exactly how those pump and dump Telegram groups work, it's a pity that most newbie traders find it difficult to analyze the market, they all want quick profits and thats the reason why they feel they can make quick profits with these pump and dump groups, which in turn makes them get rekt because they don't also analyze to confirm if the the signal they got is authentic they will just rush and place a buy order.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: February 08, 2021, 11:50:29 PM
Just a curious question.
How long can this BULL run last??
As there will be a huge correction inevitably.
I'm not sure how long this bull run is going to last, cuz the way things are going more financial institutions keeping coming into action making it hard for the bull to stop, each time it seems like the  bull run is about to end another huge financial institution will just buy more bitcoins dragging the price back up, this is the longest bull so far might run till the third quarter of the year before we see a correction in prices but then bitcoin should have surpassed maybe $70k.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hype around DOGE on: February 08, 2021, 11:24:49 PM
i tried to trade some doge yesterday on futures and had little loss. it was obvious that the market was heading down yesterday and today the elon news came and everything changed geared. thats why coins are pumping. its not as if doge is useful, its just making a troll of it.
Sorry about that, but y'all should know by now that doge is a sh*tcoin altcoin, everyday more dogecoins are added into circulation what do you think will happen, miners will dump each time it tries to hit 10cents, so that means you have to pray Elon Musk next tweet should be about Dogecoin, the other day I saw someone who got trapped at doge's recent ATH, crying under Elon's tweet begging him to make a tweet about doge coin so that it can pump, If I were  you I would stay clear from dogecoin to avoid more losses.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys $1.5 billion in Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 10:47:43 PM
Tesla invested 1.5 Billion USD into Bitcoin and plans to include Bitcoin as a payment method.
Definitely the reason for prices soaring right now.

Quote
Thereafter, we invested an aggregate $1.50 billion in bitcoin under this policy and may acquire and hold digital assets from time to time or long-term. Moreover, we expect to begin accepting bitcoin as a form of payment for our products in the near future, subject to applicable laws and initially on a limited basis, which we may or may not liquidate upon receipt.

Bloomberg report:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-02-08/tesla-invests-1-5-billion-in-bitcoin-plans-to-accept-cryptocurrency

SEC filing: https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/1318605/000156459021004599/tsla-10k_20201231.htm
It was always going to happen sooner or later, we can see how bitcoin has captured the financial world by surprise now every financial institution are trying to lay hands on as much bitcoin as they can buy, with this news we might even see Bitcoin at $50k before the end p this week, Elon Musk is really a destroyer of short positions  Cheesy, cause I  heard over $500m was liquidated in all futures crypto exchanges after tesla released the news,  looks like we are already on the moon now heading to MARS.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria government did not ban bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 10:29:07 PM
And that means, no local crypto-exchange can exist in their country as it will not be approved by their Central Bank.
That's too bad for their crypto users as they will rely on p2p platforms, which hopefully will not be a breeding ground for scammers.
Now, that Tesla is out with their billion investment in bitcoin, hopefully, their government will re-consider about their approach in crypto.
I believe, that there will still be changes on their perspectives towards crypto.

you're right at the moment there's no local exchange working in Nigeria, they had a few local exchange like luno and roqqu and immediately the federal government announced that banks should no longer be involved in any crypto transactions, the local exchange  were all shut down, it's really bad for Nigerians cause now they won't be able to change their crypto to naira smoothly unlike before, I just hope their government will revise this decision soon.

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When This Scam Will stop?? on: February 07, 2021, 10:32:03 PM
We all know that it was a very popular forum back in 2017-2018.

after that, every altcoin announcement and project was like a total scam, Every new member became a copper member for management of a project.
I mean why isn't there any rules for this?
Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.

Newbies with copper member rank was put in place in order for newbies who want to post pictures on the ANN section to be able to do that without having to pay any high ranked member in this forum, I don't think the admin can differentiate between a scammer and a legit person through the sats they send, and besides its up to you if you want to invest in a new project or not, nobody is forcing anyone to invest in any new project, so do your own research, lastly not all projects are scam just DYOR and you will be good to go.
