Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

I do not know why people talking and count on LTC more than its potential some other coins like ADA or ICX or ETH is better that is my idea. because all of this coins is very useful for money transferring but also their applications. As for now, I will never missed out on bitcoin especially that it is at its dip so expect a bounce any time before 2018 ends. Ethereum as always will be a good long term investment. I can understand op picking LTC as it is one of the oldest and one of the most popular coin. eth and ltc are both good coins for long term investments, but for me its still ethereum I will choose because i can say it is better than litecoin base on the project. Ethereum is more promising and giving more profits in their project. |

Many news that ICOs will be closed in this year. But I think it will be very difficult, because there are still many ICOs that still have hope for the future. Indeed, the more people who give birth to new ICOs, maybe some of the ICOs could be scam or project of ICOs are less support for the future.
ICO will not die, there are too many altcoins that are launching and creating internal coin offer and this is a good sign of ICO growth and with this many new coins will come in crypto market, so ICO will continue. |

Well, I also look my ETH as a form of investment and for trading. ETH has the potential on being the number 1 coin. Many have said that it can even surpass btc in the future. I use my Eth for long term investment, and also to do trading. I have keep 1 eth last year 2017 and hold it for about six months, and I gain more profit, I am still doing it until now, still holding because the market price still haven't come back yet its high peak. |

In some cases, buying new coins that go to the exchange is very beneficial. But the most decisive factor here is the popularity of this project, as well as its usefulness.
I think its more advisable to buy the established coins and has already listed in the market in this way it is less risky and you don't need to think that your investments will loose. Buying new altcoins don't have the assurance of good profit. |

i agree. we invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because they are decentralized. out of any control. So isnt it strange to scare about g20 or any regulations. no regulations can stop bitcoin. only the community and miners can affect to crypto moneys.

Telegram is one of the good places to check out projects. I usually read about what are the members talking there. Some projects’ group chats are active and members discuss about certain points that are good information.
There are many factors that need to consider and one of them is the activeness of the developer, their project roadmap, their supply of coins. I think telegram is just one criteria to measure if the project will going to be succesful. |

panic sell doesn't give you good profit though. Its normal to met the price of bitcoin to go below. Don't sell it at a low price instead buy more bitcoins when the bitcoin price dips. Its a good profit when you buy it in the dip.
If you panic during the time of dip, you cannot think of a good decision, and will end up loosing your investment. I don't say you don't need to sell, if you really need money but the changing in the market price is too low, just exchange a small amount and do not sell all. In this way you can still have earnings when the market price go back to a high price. |

Crypto is something fluctuating. If you are a newbie (I mean staring in crypto), it is better to stay in your job and make crypto as part-time job. However, if you have earned more money and ready for some months with no payment or ready for the risks, I'm sure that crypto can be a good way to build up your life and your family.
Crypto earnings is really tempting, it can give you a huge amount of income in one shot. If you just learn how to use it and manage it properly, I suggest that you study it first and learn the advantage and disadvantages it can bring to you. |

I do crypto as my part time job, I involve in some bounty campaign and telegram campaign. I do short trading and buy a small amount of bitcoin to keep in long term. That is my involvement in crypto. And hoping that I can get a big return in the net coming months...

Depends on what kind of coins you hold. If promising, then when the market returns to the price of these coins will grow.
I think the price will go up, but its still depends on the demands in the market it doesn'y mean that if you hold your coins you can sell it in a high price. There is always a ratio in the supply and demand scheme. |

What do you mean that the ethereum scam? I think ethereum is the best altcoins and will be excellent. Ethereum has a lot of potential and certainly popularity under bitcoin. I believe with ethereum.

personally, I think, In many cases, bounty prizes are delayed by the month. Participants can get their tokens for months after the reward program is completely over. And if the participant is underfunded. Then he will not think twice before canceling all the prizes they have already redeemed.
I think because the bounty rewards are given delay always, maybe that is why the hunters do sell it immediately because of the need of funds that they are expecting from their bounty rewards. |

Yes leaving your job in exchange for crypto job is not a good idea. You can use crypto as your extra income but don't use it to totally depend on it for your financial needs, because its not stable and it will not guarantee a good supply of financial to you. |

Hi. If you find yourself in a fake ICO bounties, better to separate as much as possible to find another better ICO bounties. It is ok when we sometimes not notice to join a scam ICO, it gives us experience now how to differentiate it from good ones. From that, we will learn and give us knowledge to find much better ICO bounties.
you better be smart in finding a good bounties so you will not be a victim of the scammers. Its just that you have to analyse and understand their project before you enter into it. |

Not surprised at the way the price of ethereum is going because I knew that ethereum is one of the coins that would end up doing well when the cryptocurrency market gained more traction. The prices are in line to a good coin and even at a low market the prices now are still pretty good compared to last year when the coin was still struggling price wise.
No, I am not surprised to the price of ethereum because its just normal and that is indicated that ETH is really dependent to bitcoin. When the bitcoin continue to dump its price, ethereum will follow and other coins will also be affected. |
