223  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 4x World Aid Coin collectable !! ENDED !! on: June 16, 2019, 01:05:13 PM
In the year 2014 gravitate started a new coin: World Aid Coin [WAC]. He did his best to make it a succes and to help out the people in need in the world. Unfortunately it did not become a succes and the coin is dead/end of project. Details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=660090.0

In that year he gave me, because I was one the guardians, some nice collectibles: a gift card with 50 World Aid Coin. It is a card sealed in plastic with a privatekey inside to redeem the 50 WAC. Just to be clear : World Aid Coin isn't active anymore, no blockchain. so cards can not be redeemed !

Possible to get same hologram again?

JanEmil 2 @ 0.0006

Bid noted

I don't have the holograms, if you want some same/original holograms you have to contact Smoothie. But my guess is he won't sell any. If you want to use these as DIY coins just buy some holos at an online shop or ebay, china...

228  Economy / Collectibles / [RAFFLE] 18 x Peercoin Medallion (2014) ** ENDED ** on: June 16, 2019, 11:03:12 AM
Do you remember Peercoin? yes, it is still alive and kicking (a bit)  Grin I found some cool Peercoin medallions in my box of crypto collectables I thought it would be nice to share these with the crypto collectors on this forum. Spot price is what I paid for 1 coin back in the days + 50% of the shipping costs. I am not doing this to make great profits.

These Peercoin medallions are made by Sprite1308 back in 2014. They are 1.5 inches in diameter. 3mm width. The backs are sandblasted, 100 were produced. Material is metal with some gold plating. Medallion is put is a clear plastic pouch.

There are 18 Peercoin Medallions to win, 16 spots, choosing 18 blocks to determine winner for each medallion. 1 spot is maximum so there is a greater change everybody is a winner but 1 spot can win multiple medallions of course  Shocked

whoop whoop that's fast  Shocked Grin

question, are the coins solid silver? or plated? or other material?

They are solid silver .999

No, they are not .999 silver. They are silver plated copper coins. Silver coins would be much more expensive.

wow 2 metals in 1 coin  Grin all fine, I just love the design, can't wait to see them for real. Great addition to my collect. Happy me already.

Show us the design!

Ask and you shall receive.  It isn't anything out of the ordinary for the series.  Here's the front design, and the back would be the same as the 10oz silver round (same die used to stamp even).

Nice! amazing humongous coin  Shocked  Do I see an "OG" ?

238  Economy / Securities / Re: 📈 NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: April 15, 2019, 05:51:24 PM
Hey nastyfans,

Suggestion 1 - Lightning for donation payouts
I just used lightning for the first time and ... its crazy cheap + crazy fast and I am soooo excited.
Since the weekly donations are usually below any threshold, where onchain settlement makes sense, I believe lightning would be a great idea as a payout option for the donations.
What do you think about distributing the donations via LN ?

Suggestion 2 Seat buy back program:
There are barely deals on the seat auctions.  What do you think about using a percentage (lets say 5%) of the donations to buy back seats ?
By doing so, we would add some liquidity to the seat market.

-Muexx

PS: @OG  + nonnakip You are doing a great job !!! I am proud to support renewable mining, by being part of nastyfans!!

Thanks for your post Muexx, nice to see people being interested in NastyFans and making suggestion.

My opion about your suggestions:

1) LN isn't that popular yet, not sure how to reach all Nasty Fans with/using LN.
2) a more active market regarding Seats would be nice but if you had seats, would you sell them?  Grin we should come up with a great plan indeed to get the seat market more interesting
