The possibility is remote. Ethereum is a great coin just as Bitcoin. But for it to reach and overtake Bitcoin is remote to my thinking. Greatness is not only measured by high price but value. As more and more cryptocurrencies are entering the marketplace and solving problems, it will not be easy to see a coin that will get to a very high value as bitcoin.

Check the roadmap of most altcoins, the maturity of the coins are in 2018. 2018 holds the key to a blossom altcoins boom. Holding alcoins for 6 months in 2017 and getting tired is lack of patience. I encourage you to be patient still.

Yesterday John McAfee posted on his twitter account that he will share his thoughts on unique altcoins and he said "most of 2,000 are trash" and today he posted on twitter that ETN is one of those unique coins and boom ETN price pumped 30%. With his daily posts about alts that believe is good, will this affect the altcoins price or this will tarnish his reputation.
Mr. John McAfee knows that his reputation will be at stake before making that post. And after the tweets start coming, those altcoins have gained prices. We stand to observe what those altcoins will be in the run of time. At the moment, his recommendations are working. |

Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?
The easiest is Airdrop in the context that you just fill a form and some few requirements. But you do more work on bounty to earn token. However, it is easier for a bounty campaign to pay you more than Airdrop. |

I have been following those McAfee tweets. Little did I know it is really making such impact. Sadly, he is yet to tweet about an altcoin I hold. His comment about Bitcoin has also contributed in the rebound I guess.

This recent hack of ED is a mixed blessing.
1. It has shown everyone that ED is not as secure as we thought.
2. There is need for ED to be more secure.
I hope other exchanges learn from this ugly experience and come up with more security features to safely protect their users.

Etherdelta can be very fast when it come to the time of transaction but one thing about them is that there security system is not strong, you account can be compromise at any time.
I seem to agree with you on the issue of security. The Dev should add some more security features to the site knowing the volume of trading going on there. |

Be that as it may, to divest from a business you formed can imply 2 things from my opinion. Either you have seen another project that has much interest and you cannot combine both or loss of confidence on the project.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time.  I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. My take is that you did what was right at the time. Yes, having the benefit of hind sight could make you feel as you are but hey, it solved a problem. The evolving nature of cryptocurrencies will have so much of similar experiences. Patience is a virtue they say. But everything has time. Do not regret. |

I usually ignore newbies like this.
Either:
1) They don't know what they are talking about because they are new.
or
2) They don't have the courage and facts to back up their claims with their main account.
More to that, I also think some Newbie are accounts created just for the purpose of reputation damage. This is a second post of similar nature I am seeing. The scam is about aTriz and Launda yet the account name that started this post is ATRIZLAUNDA. Most incredible. |
