221  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Dear Indian Miners on: June 22, 2019, 07:21:53 PM
Even if people would start GPU mining the main thing is that GPUs that are used for mining aren't easily available and the prices are sky high if they are available.

So because of this, Indians are behind in the bitcoin mining race. But not because we lack knowledge... Just the resources to scale.
GPUs are available but is it still profitable to mine bitcoin?

Don't think so,that is why people invest bitcoin by just buying it rather than mining.

IMHO since phones are basically minicomputers now anyway, we should be able to install whatever OS we want. Heck, being able to dual boot would also probably be nice.

I currently use an Android phone coz let's face it, iPhones are overpriced. It would cost me half a year's expenses on food, etc.

The sooner Huawei release their own OS the better as far as I'm concerned. It will open up an alternative to both Android and iOS.

Regardless of which OS you use though, data mining is here to stay and it boils down to which OS and apps you feel more comfortable with.

Yes, we do need alternatives though I'm not keen on anything from Huawei.
Custom stock ROMs are available but it might damage your device as well so not recommended for common user.

Huawei might introduce of google doesn't accept them but recent news says restricting huawei will cause economic crash on USA so there will be some compromise soon between google and huawei.

localBitcoin will be my choice for now and ever.
224  Local / India / Re: How to buy bitcoin in india on: June 22, 2019, 08:41:28 AM

I never used localbitcoin so I am not able to tell you anything about it. May be others members in this forum who used localbitcoin can reply here with his experience. For Wazirx I can say I never have any issues regarding buy and selling bitcoin and they have a good liquidity in trading. So you dont have to wait for long time for matching your price order because there are so many people keep buying and selling bitcoin. I recommend to watch you this viedeo for how to buy and sell bitcoin on Wazirx. https://youtu.be/YbAvLGXKH2k

After watching the video I got an idea how it works but it looks too complicated compare to localbitcoin.

If you want more reliable and better price I suggest you to go with localbitcoin.

226  Local / India / Re: Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 22, 2019, 06:19:51 AM
I know what Merit Source means. Check BOLD texts.
BTW Heisenberg_Hunter applied for Merit Source, Indians may get one.
I said we need to start giving merits when we see worthy posts, then we may need merit sources.I saw that thread as well hoping from some good decision from admins.
227  Local / India / Re: Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 21, 2019, 05:27:07 PM
All the members of forum are reputed member till they caught in any spam or scam.

If you spend few minutes then you will find merit sources (not official). They are not officially means they not not merit sources but they are doing same job.
Heisenberg_Hunter - He is very much active in Indian forum, check his merit stat.
Bitlover10 - Check this thread, he is giving away merits to best poster, in indian section.
JSRAW - He is also working as merit source for Indian community.
and hope one day I will do same for Indian community.

India doesn't only have hindi so there maybe multiple sources needed but initially we need someone atleast to star giving merits.Merit source is something different from giving away our own merits because only merit sources keep recharging the number of smrits every month so they can be more available with merits and also give some to the people.
228  Local / India / Re: Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 21, 2019, 11:49:19 AM
Our locale board doesn't have moderator for a while and even some people made proposal for to be moderator but still there is no positive sign for moderators.

But atleast we need some merit sources which can be useful for the newbie to identify which is better quality posts.

Anyone here?

There are legendary peeps, but I dont think any merit sources. But they can sign up to be a merit source.

Only if theymos allow them to do. Smiley

Atleast moderator will e much helpful.

I am about to develop and publish my first mob app game. Do you know any good ways to make it gain more popularity with the lowest costs possible?

Perhaps you know someone who runs a website or has a YouTube channel who might be interested to review it and play it for their viewers to see.

The game will be simple yet nerve tingling.
I have a youtube channel related to tech so I am interested to review it.

But my channel is combination of english and native language.
231  Local / India / Re: How to buy bitcoin in india on: June 21, 2019, 06:45:27 AM

I used wazirx for buying Bitcoin with fiat. But you need to follow this instructions :- When you are going to buy bitcoin on wazirx then during payment don't put reference like buy bitcoin, wazirx payment, payment for crypto etc. Because if banks caught that reference then banks could seized both accounts (buyer and seller account) .

Is this works same as localbitcoin right? Just now saw the site but don't know how often we can find traders on this site but on localbitcoin we can find traders in minutes.
232  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android is a boon or curse? on: June 21, 2019, 05:55:46 AM
They do the same thing as google does but we have an option to turn off updates.

But I think their system is just like google that whenever you turn on once the updates, all of the activities that you did on your computer will be tracked and saved immediately to their db.
Most of the apps we are using in android are from google so it is impossible to get away from their updates but when it comes to windows we can go without updates for years.
233  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android is a boon or curse? on: June 20, 2019, 06:53:41 PM
Do you think that it is better with iOS?
Or it is better with Microsoft Windows that you have installed in your PC? We are leaking information from any device we are using.
Compared to Android,IOS is lot better in term so privacy.

Microsoft is stealing our information? Don't think so!

The reason microsoft asks you to connect every app you are using with an email in not only for giving access and tackle piracy, it is also for tracking your data and save them in their databases.
I am using windows pc all the time and not sure about the email you are talking about.I never connect any of my emails on pc and I even disable auto updates too often because it sucks lot of data and memory at background.

You can disable anything you want on pcs.

235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: June 20, 2019, 05:20:32 PM
I'm not removing that fact that there were some newly launched casino's that are also trusted.

But as I've said it's much better to trust the old ones before the new ones.
Old gambling sites are good to believe because they have been doing it for a long time and many people believe it. But there's no harm in trying on a new gambling site, to play small games to see fully whether it's more comfortable and reliable on old or new gambling sites.

Just to try maybe. However something should push you in this direction.  You know, people are lazy by a nature, and if everything is good on old place why would you be looking for another one with all risks attached, But is something bad on old place, or sign up bonuses on a new are attractive, or some good friend mentioned a new one, saying there some new cool features - you might go and try.
Well, old one was good and trusted but sometimes people are also finding trusted and new casinos since they are also looking for best things. We can’t just judge a new casinos just because they are new but we should also look at them sometimes what if they have more offers than others.
More offers sometimes will turn into two possible scam sites so so don't get attracted to much because of the offer just use the new exchange by learning about their features which are better than the old trusted casinos.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 20, 2019, 04:36:57 PM
All those points attracted me to use bitcoin to be honest so can't point out single thing as benefit.

But I feel that finite number of coins made everyone to look it as better than fiat.
237  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android is a boon or curse? on: June 20, 2019, 04:24:41 PM
Now a days, almost everyone in this world having smartphone and most of them are android which is from Google. After the introduction of android we are not much secured as how we are before all our private information are in the hands of google and some third party apps without our knowledge so what you think about having android?

@playboy654 you have asked a double edged question, and I doubt there’ll be consensus on any answer one gives here. The first part of your question is actually praising android, because of it all can afford a phone so in my opinion yes it’s beneficial to all?. However the second part is the harsh reality where our data is stored against our wishes, and that’s what makes me dislike android phones and hence I shifted to Apple for security reasons.
Solution cannot be obtained from single person but discussing about it will help us to know the risks in detailed,it will help me and other members to learn how to be safe while using an android.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: June 20, 2019, 01:18:38 PM
Only if everyone in this world bored of it.

I guess people got the same interest even after hundreds of years then it will still continue for many more years.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Which form of investment has highest ROI? on: June 20, 2019, 12:39:59 PM
IEO is the best investment have higher profit or ROI, but you have know before which one the best IEO to get much profit before you buy or invest, always choose the best exchange market to buy an IEO coins.
it's true that being a participant from the IEO you can get very high profits but you have to know that these benefits can be obtained when you become a participant from a high-volume exchange place such as a binary exchange place, because if you are a participant in the exchange place other exchanges, there is no guarantee of being able to make a profit.
Its just from the HYIP,lets see the future projects can be able to provide same outcome of profits even if it is promoted by the high volume exchange.

Those who invested at early stages of IEO risked their capital but got their benefits, don't expect it will happen repeatedly.

Whether it is open sourced or closed, android is truly a life changer. I describe it in such a way because many people who doesn't have any basic knowledge now making use of the applications available for Android to make transactions and for different needs. If there is no Android we could've never experienced such a growth in accessibility among the third world country people.
Android gave opportunity to collect all the data from people which made the lot of business to big companies. The consequences of data stolen can be only realized at later period so keep yourself secured if you don't want to face any.
