Using largest data miner in the world to connect with anonymous project? Are you mad?
Well bitcoin isn't *really* anonymous. Also, in order for bitcoin to be appealing to the masses, we have to make it comfortable. Most internet users trust Facebook registration over independent registration, especially when it's something they are unsure about like bitcoin. Thoughts?

Would you use facebook connect to register for a website which gives you free bitcoins?
Or would you prefer the website have it's own registration process?

We're just about to launch 2 of the first of our bitcoin businesses, and we have 3-4 in the pipeline right now.
Still looking for some potential BitCoin investors.
We've had some very informative phone and skype conversations with some interesting members of this awesome and diverse community.
If you are interested in investing some of your BitCoin into a business backed by successful entrepreneurs, send me a PM we'd love to chat with you!

Awesome guys - I'll post more info here later Xenland.
Should be ready to show the beta site in the next few days - then you can see for yourself what will be needed, and we'll open it up for people to register, use and apply to be on the team!

great biz! This was one that I was gonna try for heh. Guess I can scratch that off the list for now!
We need more ways for users to use their BTC! The bitcoin economy needs to be based on purchasing, trading - not just day trading and mining!

Actually, I love this idea haha. Though, I think it'd be cooler to print shirts with the current price as you sell them, so people wouldn't have to deal with it, or couldn't forge it.
Love that idea - someone was just selling t-shirts on irc today. This would be an awesome shirt.

If an e-commerce website wants to list prices less than 1 bitcoin, is there a proper naming convention to follow?
0.1 bitcoin seems depressing to list as the reward price.
We would rather say 1 MegaBit or 1 MiliBit - is there such a naming practice in existence?

this is a great thread, but perhaps it might be worth while to restart this thread and remove the first 3/4 of it about your personal life and your facebook and etc.
The ideas you present at the end are great, but I barely got through the whole post...if I left, I would have missed the meat at the end.
SO great idea, I would participate, and I am participating - but lets restart it so the first message people see has proper punctuation, paragraphs, and is to the juicy point.
We definitely need more service based bitcoin ventures...expect 2 or 3 from me in the coming weeks.

It's a good idea in a perfect marketplace where everyone had a way to spend their digital currency.

We're looking for some help to launch a bitcoin business!
We're about to launch a fun place for people to go and do work to earn bitcoins.
One of the barriers for BitCoin newcomers is the difficulty of obtaining bitcoins unless you have a $1500 gaming computer sitting around, or money to invest in a for-profit(?) mining rig.
We are hoping that this will be one of the first places the new bitcoiner comes to earn his first bitcoin. Sort of like the faucets - except you can get a more meaningful amount of bitcoin.
We're looking for input, ideas, suggestions, early adopters, and anyone who work for the site doing things like administrative tasks, email support, evangelism, etc.
If you are interested, please lets discuss here or in private if you prefer!
