WorldCUP - FINAL MATCH TIP

Prediction Argentina - France

I expect to see a fairly balanced match between these two teams, however, in case there is a first goal, the opposing team will always fight for an equalizer. In addition, both Argentina and France have allowed a few goals in recent matches, which means, both teams reveal a lack of defensive consistency that can be decisive. That said, I believe the most likely scenario for this match will be for both teams to score at least one goal.

Both teams score

England - Championship

1- Burnley 3 - Middlesbrough 1

Burnley presents a better squad, and it has been collecting winnings with the last 5 games at home. Having said that, risking in favor of the ''Burnley Draw Cancels'' market in this game is a good option.

223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: December 18, 2022, 12:12:59 PM
I usually prefer to go for the most popular casino options out there that have sportsbooks and poker rooms.

My go to crypto casinos:

Stake.com
Betcoin.ag
Sportsbet
Cloudbet
Bovada

As for poker rooms, I usually prefer to go for Pokerstars or 888... Just patiently waiting for them to start accepting cryptos, otherwise I'll need to charge PayPal with crypto to then charge Pokerstars

TIPS FOR SATURDAY 17/12/2022

Here are my tips for this Saturday!

England - Championship

1- Burnley - Middlesbrough

Burnley presents a better squad, and it has been collecting winnings with the last 5 games at home. Having said that, risking in favor of the ''Burnley Draw Cancels'' market in this game is a good option.

Burnley Draw Cancels

2- Bristol City - Stoke

Stoke is the favourite for this game, however, Bristol City is very motivated after the great victory against Rotherham. I believe a very balanced game from start to finish, making risking in favor of “Both teams score”
a good option.

Both teams score

3- Coventry - Swansea

It is very likely to see some goals scored at this game. Even though the home side is favourite, Swansea City has also been presenting a very offensive football, where it can easily create goal situations. Thus, a very open match is expected, making risking in favor of the ''Above 2,5 Goals'' a value bet.

Above 2,5 Goals

4-Huddersfield - Watford

Watford is favourite, however, Huddersfield Town also has a say, as they need to add the three points. Having said that, risking in favor of ''Both teams score'' is a value bet.

Both teams score

5- Preston - QPR

Preston is in the lead in the league table, it is still going through a brilliant moment, with a sequence of victories. Preston won four of the last five matches played, and, on the other hand, Queens Park Rangers lost four of the last five games. This way, betting in favour of Preston makes it a surebet.

Preston to win

6- Hull - Sunderland

Sunderland is favourite, however, Hull City is expected to try and surprise their opponent. It should be noted that the two emblems have very offensive game models. That said, risking in favor of the ''Above 2,5 Goals'' a value bet.

Above 2,5 Goals

7- West Bromwich - Rotherham

The most likely scenario for this match will be for West Bromwich to win. In addition to the visible difference in quality between the two squads, the two teams live completely different moments. If, on the side of West Bromwich, the most verified result is the victory, on the side of Rotherham, the scenario is gray, therefore, it registers only one triumph in the last eight meetings held.

West Bromwich to win

8- Cardiff - Blackpool

It is true that a match with more tendency for the home side is expected, however, it is not surprising that Blackpool could create some goal situations, taking into account Cardiff's defensive weaknesses. That said, “Both Teams Score” should be a good option for this game

Both Teams Score

Scotland Premiership

9- Livingston - Dundee Utd

it is expected for Livingston to adopt an offensive initiative, against a Dundee United team playing more in expectation and in the opponent's error with counterattack mentality. More competent at all levels, the Martindale team promises to take advantage of the support of their fans and end up creating more goal opportunities, getting closer to a hypothetical triumph.

Livingston to win

10- Hearts - Kilmarnock

In an attempt to return to the championship games with a triumph, not least because they are playing in front of their fans, Hearts promise to be the team with the greatest attacking initiative, against a Kilmarnock with serious defensive difficulties, but able to surprise on the counterattack, until due to the tactical inconsistency of the opponent as well. Thus, both teams promise to have good opportunities to reach the goal.

225  Bitcoin / Legal / More Regulation Incoming! on: December 17, 2022, 10:38:14 AM
Events like MTGOX and FTX are only damaging the Cryptocurrency Industry. Unfortunately,  this sort of event is nothing new to the industry as every day we see crypto businesses going bankrupt and new scams coming in.
The recent FTX event motivated the US United States Financial Stability Oversight Council or FSOC is now recommending legislators study new regulations for cryptos.

So, we will see new regulations coming in through the following months. Usually, regulation comes at a price and is more damaging than the other way around. I just hope that it isn't regulation that could stifle innovation and slow down the industry to a freezing point.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar World Cup Betting Tips on: December 17, 2022, 10:17:33 AM
Tomorrow game between morroco and croatia will be a really tight one in my opinion and i think we won't see many goals, for croatia this will be a step back even if they win the third place since they made it to the final in the previous world cup so i think morroco players will be more motivated both teams play really good football i think the third place will be for morroco either in penalties or with a small goal difference.

Yeah. I do not believe we will be seeing many goals in this match. Both teams use a defensive counter attack strategy, so the game will be held at middle-field mostly. My predictions for the game are:

Croatia - Morocco

Croatia wants to show a better performance that the team made against Argentina, the Moroccan team has the ability to put into practice the counterattack and take advantage of the defensive difficulties of the Croatian team. In this way, a well-disputed match is expected, where the two countries will always be on the prowl to surprise the opponent. That said, I believe we will see a game disputed at middle-field without many goals. So, a good value bet for this game would be a draw at half-time.

Draw at half time

227  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Could Binance Collapse? on: December 17, 2022, 10:09:17 AM
In regard to this article: https://coingeek.com/binance-to-us-authorities-prosecute-us-and-crypto-will-collapse/

Could binance collapse if they get prosecuted? With the collapse of FTX these things became more much imaginable, then again this could all be just FUD as we've seen it many many times before.
Once again the crypto market is on the brink of another apocalypse.   If it wasnt for this possibility I would never want to sell my coins at this point as I pretty much think the bottom could be in. I saw so many bad news over the course of years and this could easily just be 99% FUD again but if it isnt my crypto money will probably be 99% worthless in case of this event happening so I do give it some thought. What do you think will happen? Do you think about selling your coins? Also what would happen with stable coins, would they still hold any value if this happened?

Also how would such a scenario unfold IF it happened? When would we know? How long would the whole process take? Would there be enough time in between to make a decission or do you think it would unfold rapidly, trigger a chain reaction and steep losses?

I guess this is bragging too much or this is simply FUD. I would say yeah, Binance is one of the Top crypto exchanges in the crypto world but that wouldn't mean that if Binance was taken down the whole crypto ecosystem would collapse over their head. It would be more like MTGOX and it would bring the industry to its knees but it wouldn't be the end of it. It would be a terrible shakedown, but mostly, who would be affected would be those shitty cryptos and other centralized cryptos that are good for nothing.

The story of crypto is full of FTXs and each time that happens the real cryptos get out even stronger. Even so, I do not think Binance will go down. What can maybe happen is a US clampdown on the company. And if that so happens Binance can easily flee to another country and keep its operations running elsewhere.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education programs should cover Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. on: December 16, 2022, 09:35:31 PM
I was reading an article online about blockchain technology when I came across a specific section that discussed how Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would become accepted forms of payment all around the world. If that's the case, I recommend that the government include Blockchain technology in the university and K-12 curricula so that students and teachers can understand how it works and why it's a superior form of payment to traditional fiat currency. Additionally, there should be billboards advertising Bitcoin across the city to educate the public about its use and the reasons why the new technology should be accepted as a form of payment everywhere.

I guess that was not a good article. Cryptocurrency is already accepted as a form of payment all around the world due to its sheer nature. Regardless of regulation, one can use it anyway. And, I would say even more. Cryptocurrency and the Blockchain should have its own courses taught at universities as well as it should have an introduction course as part of the teaching program in high school.

Semi Finals Results

Apologies to whoever is following this thread for the late post!

Argentina 3- Croatia 0

Both teams score

LOSS

France 2 - Morocco 0

The most likely scenario for this game will be for France to win. The French team is superior to Morocco and in this semi-final they should dominate and take advantage of several chances to score. On the other hand, the Moroccan team wants to continue to surprise and should be much more motivated than the French squad and its defensive strategy may be difficult to break. This way I believe it is possible to see a draw at half time

Draw at half time

LOSS

One more time I could not get a good prediction and lost my bets. All in all, I'm still in profit, but it's getting short...

Tomorrow, I'll leave my prediction for the World Cup Final.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Candidates for the WORLD CUP 2022 Winner on: December 16, 2022, 08:35:13 AM
France. I said this before, I said this during quarter finals, I wasn't sure before that, but when France faced England and all others faced their opponents, I knew that France would win. It was obvious from how good they play, it's really not even close to anyone and their biggest opponent so far has been England and they won that easily if you ask me.

I know if Kane made that penalty then it wouldn't be this easy, but they played so well in that game too. I am guessing that France will have an easy time beating Argentina. I believe no player in France is as good as Messi, he is better than all of France players, including Mbappe, but overall France is better as a squad.
France has good attack tactics against Morocco which really has a strong defense that can be penetrated easily by France, that's why Morocco and other great teams are easily beaten by France, I believe France will give their best game against Argentina in the final later

Morocco mostly defended in this world cup and played on counter attack and France did tacticly an amazing job thats why they easily won against them . Morocco got lucky to go this far and this is still a huge achievement for them on this world cup. France vs Argentina will be a good match and i honestly dont know who will win

Yeah, the Moroccan team had a defensive counter attack strategy feom the beginning which paid off. The Spanish as well as the Portuguese team failed to see this and were unable to apply a suited strategy that would protect this kind of technique. This was what France did. They have entered the match with an organized strategy that was mostly in place to protect aagianst the opponent team. And it paid off.
231  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Einstein threw a party for time travelers. on: December 15, 2022, 06:42:02 PM
This was actually something proposed by Stephen Hawking. He threw a party as an experience to prove that time travel is not a reality or at least it os not possible to do it backwards. The reasoning behind it was that no showed up and that proved that travelling back in time is not possible. You can learn more about this here:

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy more ETH after reading this ? on: December 15, 2022, 06:29:48 PM
I wouldnt put my money on eth in any way. I guess that investors will still be able to make money with, but its potential for dobbling investments I believe it was lost forever. Now that eth abandoned POW and is now fully POS it will become less and less attractive, and soon it may be replaced by something better and decentralized.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: December 15, 2022, 02:59:39 PM
Loose hands are holding bags and any FUD at all makes these guys sell at lowsy prices. On the one hand, this is not helpful at all and makes it hard for stability, but on the other hand it allows us to purchase bitcoin  at cheap prices.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Candidates for the WORLD CUP 2022 Winner on: December 15, 2022, 08:52:59 AM
France had their best over Morocco and is already at the finals. Argentina vs France will be an amazing match where the two teams will be put to test. So far, both teams have demonstrated to be playing good footbal, so it will not be an easy game for both squads. Even though Argentina seems to be a superior team there is still a slom chance for France to take the cup home.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 15, 2022, 08:09:33 AM
So it looks like the Moroccan team wasnt able to break the French team defenses. It was an amazing game. And even though the Moroccan team lost the game, they played very well but luck did not smile to them. Noe we are down to an incredible final match between France and Argentina. Argentina is favourite, but it will not be an easy game for them.
236  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: December 14, 2022, 07:46:26 PM
Here's my view mate:

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
The main pains points have to do with identity validation and KYC

- What would you like to see?
I would like to see a new and innovative Poker Room that could introduce something new.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
This is a very subjective question as not every gambler considers the same features fun. I guess that something that would make it fun to play poker would be to allow users the chance of organizing private poker tournaments where family and friends could play
- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
Not sure what to say, but anyone in a bad beat can become an absolute Degen

- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?

I normally prefer to get or to follow for information over here in the forum, but one of the most important channels that I believe every casino should have is a Twitter channel as this improves the trustness around the casino.

237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 14, 2022, 06:37:00 PM
Hey guys,

With all the KYC talk lately I wanted to open up a thread and ask about your opinion.

The side of the user:
- Prefers no KYC
- Prefers anon coins as a payment platform
- If a KYC is triggered, they want to trust the brand with their documents

The side of the casino:
- Regulators are asking them to do KYC, but they need to find a balance on when it's triggered. E.g. to keep a portion of the user happy, they can rise the trigger to a certain amount.
- They are tied to a payment provider, either because of the license or CMS, and can offer only a certain portion of cryptocurrency.
- Users are abusing them if there's absolutely no KYC matrix in the system.

What would, in your opinion, be the best balance here?

Efialtis from BTCGosu mentioned that some of the casino managers make exceptions, and I can imagine how that's possible, but I'm curious in what you would like to see there.

Regarding KYC: Their management confirmed with me personally that they would not enforce KYC. (Same old story, we could of course argue about that just like with any curacao licensed crypto casino) - the good news is when I have personal confirmation of such a statement, then I am putting a "No" and if they break their word at any point of time, I would take action. That is how I have always been handling this topic and how I will continue doing it.

Dude, KYC is simply a way for the godamned government put their hands on whats not theirs. Basically, there are no solutions. Going through the KyC  is a cumbersome process not only for players but also for casinos. IMO, casinos should be tring to find ways of helping customers avoiding the KYC but unfortunately, casinos are stuck with compliance and KYC is a demand to which if they not follow, their business will suffer the consequences
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Candidates for the WORLD CUP 2022 Winner on: December 14, 2022, 06:17:33 PM
This has been one of the most surprising world cups ever. A lot of surprises from teams we were not expecting. For Morocco was the biggest surprise and one of the best teams in the competition. That said, it would besoamaxing to see Morocco hitting the finals
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 14, 2022, 02:49:38 PM
It seems that we're now down to Argentina, Morocco and France. Argentina was far superior than Croatia and did an amazing game. So, the majority of punters are predicting we will have Argentina facing France on the finals, but I still believe the Moroccan team can beat France. Lets hope so.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We No Longer Pay People Directly on: December 13, 2022, 06:39:15 PM

The less we use cash, the more we pay people through a corporation. The last remaining use of cash and direct payments is Tipping.
Everything else we must pay through a corporation. We cannot pay another human unless there is a corporation involved. As cash disappears this becomes a final fact -- a corporation involved in every financial transaction you pursue. In each transaction, the corporation is taking their percentage but also controls and monitors your transaction.

BTC

Bitcoin

You are totally right. We have come to a time where we are completely controled by corporations. Fiat is controled by corporations and we as social beings are demanded to use it not because we need to havea means of exchange but as an imposition. Nowadays, we can still use fiat to payanother human hand to hand and withthat you will not be unser the scope of a given corporatio, but Now that CBDCs are becoming a reality, this situation will be even more upon us as fiat cash will be taken out from circulation. Once that happens we will become total slaves. Hence the uttermost importance of Bitcoin, as it will be the only form of financial form humans will have access to.
