I have a hunch it will stay under .00000200 until mining rewards halve, unless the Olympic games bring some more headlines, then it looks set to rise in line with mining rewards, cost of mining, history, community growth, etc, etc.

Dogecoin is now at #13 super sad It falls in price and then jumps, I always miss the low and have to buy as its rising again I can't constantly monitor the exchanges, wish I could.

FreeTrade you have me confused, you contributed only $10 to the network and yet you seem to think that by keeping your profits you have invested it? Care to clarify? This is a nice approach but we should not forget that not all mined coins are instantly being sold at exchanges. If people who mine coins hold them, less money will be needed to maintain price level.
I look at it a different way. Let's say I mine a coin, say $10 on a VPS and I make $100 worth of DOGE. That's $90 profit. If I choose to keep that $100 in DOGE, i'm now not a miner, but an investor . . I've invested my $90 profit plus $10 outlay in DOGE. Not all miners are investors, not all investors are miners. In my book your $10 outlay was your investment in doge, your $90 profit was just that: Profit Much confused, help please

I think this will help the better alt coins, I for one was shameless when I posted to spam threads, I even joked about having rented my user name out for the sake of a coin, never did do it though, I piled up some coins and did a giveaway to gain interest and although the coin was a joke coin my giveaway helped to draw some attention, the giveaway's just get out of control. I will say alt coins have been a doorway for me to BTC, even some of the free ones I received through giveaway's, and I still think this is a good move, I dont like seeing a developer premining with a giveaway plan and then sitting on thousands or millions of coins with a huge group of people pushing for the coin to gain value, that promotes scam's in my opinion.

That makes alot of sense, Thank you! trade volume is low and I thought maybe people have just stopped buying cause of better options.

Two coins I like to follow seem to be going down in value at a rate I cannot understand, anybody want to throw in their 2 cents why? Did I choose a bad investment? Are there to many better alternatives? What is happening to these 2?

+I hope this coin is around for a long time, joke coins are better than the rest, i have no reason to laugh about any of the serious coins, i might enjoy having this around to throw at some of the very serious crypto hunters. Can I help out with the Fuck Twitter account? would be fun to Fuck around in the social media with this.

I have not printed since the crash, what is the network hashrate anyway?

Duh, careless Lawyer's , the user Dogecoin is not a well known user, I can see here confusion about who is actually being sued, if there is a doge dev that wanted to sue Mr. West for the confusion I think they would have an easy case, IMO, new money like that has experts that are supposed to handle the press report's pertaining to their actions to keep confusion from hurting other entities, Sue for a public apology! Would be great press too

Market crashes due to mass cashouts <-- I vote this, the amount of personal ID information required on any exchange involved with the 'mighty' dollar would disenfranchise any interest people have (left imo) in Cryptsy.
Why would there be a mass cash out? The largest holders of coin's already have an avenue for exchanging to fiat. I am sure that the policy will end up similar to coinbase or other exchanges, so anybody that wants to cash out can do it now through those channels, I could be wrong no doubt, if they make it easy with no account verification then I would expect a cashout and crash, but they are registered with FinCEN and so have to abide by certain rules. I have hopes for a small jump in the most popular coins

The best thing going for this coin is cryptsy seems to have upgraded and it is one of the first "well built" altcoins to be introduced since then, there should be no problems with withdrawals or trades, kind of glad cryptsy waited to add it.

I think so, following the Arms race it is plain to see that mass amount's of innovation, investment's, and regulation's will be entering the scene at an alarming rate, grab a coin and hold on tight!
When difficulty skyrockets for both sha256 and script algorithms in Q2&3 prices are going to soar, miners are going to jump around seeking to make a profit which will shore up the coin market for the most professionally supported and marketed crypto, this year we will see people mortgage their home to buy mining gear, this year in cyber space will be the biggest rush ever seen to date, the 49er's will look pale in comparison to what we are about to witness, early dot-comer's will rank right next to them.
Will the miner's and coin investor's be the super wealthy in the end, I think not, there will be some that leverage their early profit and some very wealthy crypto trader's, but the majority of the super wealthy are going to be the supplier's, tool's and support have been the best thing to sell during the rushes in the past, and IMO tool's and support will create the majority of the super wealthy of this rush.
Alternative cryptocurrencies are the next best thing compared to bitcoin, when more and more bitcoiners cannot compete with the few entities on top what do you think they are going to do, stop mining/buying?, No! Very few can just stop and walk away from a rush, bitcoin miners with experience and gear will be appearing to stake their claim in the Motherload, seasoned bitcoin investors will be buying coins that have little value yet hold a bright future, litecoin enthusiast's will follow if not beat them to it.
Be prepared for the best coin of the immediate future to emerge from its incubation as a so called Alternative cryptocurrency, its coming!
