221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: May 27, 2023, 09:41:19 AM
If a casino claims to decentralized,  then I believe  same thing should also apply to their games and transparency  should also be seen to prove this decentralization.

Well I don't think one should boldly hit their chest to claim good when playing on slot machines because these games are basically  luck base but of recent I've heard of slot machine who gives extra chances to players to show their skills which means slot is also skill based but I think its more of luck than skill.

I don't know  of any slot that has to regulate their own games and I wouldn't have to even play on such slot machines if I ever get to find out that the games are been regulated by them because there isn't any chances of winnings over there.
But in reality, decentralized based casinos ask their members to do KYC especially those who manage to win a lot of money. That's because the government is watching them and trying to pressure them to follow the government's rules.

The casino could use or arrange its original slot game because it's already there in the casino and not from a third party. But if they do that and get caught by the members, the casino will be abandoned because it's unfair. Even though some gamblers often play real casino slot games, this can disappoint them.
For now, there are no rules and regulations imposed by authorities over decentralized casinos or any other decentralized platforms, so there is no need for KYC at the moment for decentralized casinos, and if they ask for it, it simply means that they are just collecting their users' personal information that they may even misuse.

Authorities will surely start hunting down decentralized platforms as well as soon as they start getting significant success and people from everywhere start using them, but for now, there isn't much popularity for decentralized platforms.
222  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: May 26, 2023, 11:28:31 AM
You`re right about AI that it is about analyze. But the same time the AI can analyze human play and to predict what the man can do in such situation. It can be the same with the chess computers - they analyze the situation on the table to compare it with all the games were played to choose the best from them. The only thing the AI can`t predict well is casino games with the random.
AI gambling sucks to some gamblers while sone admit it as an advanced way of gambling in this modern technology, but it is very important for us to know that AI is not applicable innall aspect of gambling especially when we are talking about live games in gambling, the casinos can make use of the AI because they are being programmed in such a way it work with the system, but could they be as effective and accurate in our bets ehile we gambles all the time that such guarantees our winning whenever AI is being involved while gambling, this need a more serious discussion with an understanding in clarity.
I think we need to stop discussing this over and over again and accept that AI and gambling have no match at all. Artificial Intelligence is not yet designed to be compatible with any kind of gambling whether it's sports betting, poker, or any other gambling game or activity. If one tries using it to get instructions and gameplay techniques, it might repeat the same things already available on the internet, but it won't come up with anything new.

That is why, we should simply just forget this and move on for now, and when the time is right and AI becomes compatible with gambling, we will definitely come to know about it and then we should discuss it and try it as well.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: May 26, 2023, 08:58:03 AM
How many times have you successfully invited some gamblers to online casino? What is your experience doing so?

In the past I've already made good money using affiliate links, advertising in different places of my favorite casinos.
But that's not exactly an indication and I think that's not the OP's focus.

Personally, I have never invited people I know, firstly because I don't like to expose myself to friends and relatives about my relationship with cryptos, it's something only my wife and son know.

Second, because gambling is extremely addictive and we know that few people know how to control the impulse to spend endlessly... I don't want to have the guilty conscience of knowing that I contributed to ruining the mental and financial health of someone I know.
It used to be easier to get random referrals in the past because platforms were not so popular back then and not a lot of people used to use online casino platforms you could easily find people who were not already a member of a casino by the time you invite them, but these days, almost every single person who has an interest in gambling is already gambling somewhere.

So it has become a bit difficult to get referrals, especially through social media or other such mediums where you could previously share your links and find people interested in the service or platforms and you could easily guide them through and get an active referral.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 26, 2023, 08:12:00 AM
How do you see the father? Was he right by rejecting the son gambling win?
This isn't about whether the father is right or not. This is about the father trying to save the future of his son. A male child who is living with his parents and is into gambling may still be less than eighteen and that is underaged betting. Imagine if this boy starts gambling at this age what belongs of him and his future. He should be out there learning a skill or acquiring some education that will improve his odds at succeeding in life and not the meagre money he has won from sports betting.

If the dad didn't do that, then he would have passed a message to his son that it okay to gamble and waste his time at a betshop when he knows that he should be out there chasing his dreams. Great parenting  if you ask me.
That's probably right and it looks totally the correct move from a father figure to his son in order to school him about how bad gambling can be and that no matter how much one might have won at a time, it can still ruin one's life if the frequent interactions with a casino turn into an addiction when he grows up, that will probably be a nightmare for his father to see his son in that situation.

Parents will always do the best for their children and they won't change their minds only for money since money might buy everything and give them a better life but being parents, the happiness is to see their children grow responsible and become something in their lives.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Success in finance and investment is a journey of finding your true self on: May 26, 2023, 06:20:39 AM
Well I was confused at some points if I was left out of the entire circle because I don't play games and I don't even let people see me spending time on digital world.

I also agree with you at some point when you said that people see other people who invest their times on exchanges and financial  markets as wasting their time while see people who spend more time playing game as the opposite because this is a typical  scenario  in my country where everyone who spends  time online is regarded as an internet fraudster but see the once who rather play games as responsible 🙄
I almost felt you were from my country but I don't think you are but nevertheless one of the reasons these things happen is because of the negative  news  and rumors been spread about cryptocurrency  which has already made alot  of people develop hatred for the digital asset and one way to help comb is act is simply through proper sensitization of the community.
Why is no one talking about those who find success in gaming too? Those who love playing games can even get success in gaming if they take it as a career for themselves. There are countless people all over the world who earn money for playing games, they participate in tournaments, they do live streams, they do endorsements and partnerships, and there is a lot to do in the gaming industry as well for a gamer.

So it's obviously true that finding financial success is basically finding your true self in whatever you do, if your interest is more towards trading and financial assets, you will get success in that, and if you love playing video games, you can even find success in that, it all depends on your dedication and hard work which eventually pays off.
226  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbook offering VAR market on: May 25, 2023, 09:19:39 PM
As I already wrote, people are the weakest link, no matter how good a technology is, it can be misused and used selectively. If I were in the place of the decision makers, I would seriously consider changing the VAR rules so that each team has x number of requests during the match when they can ask for a check. Something similar to what existed (or still exists in tennis), and I think it would be much fairer than the way it is arranged today.

After all, if FIFA wanted to play a fair game, it wouldn't have set things up this way, but we all know that they and fairness don't go in the same sentence.
This is the way the NFL works, and while not everything is reviewable the great majority of the plays can in fact be reviewed, so giving a number of chances to each coach to issue a challenge with an additional one in the case each one of their previous challenges was correct seems like the correct way to go, now since soccer is incredibly dynamic I suppose there must be a time limit between the moment the doubtful play happens and the moment a challenge is requested, but even then such a thing will really help the sport to make the most out of the VAR.
That's how it is done in cricket. Both teams get 2 reviews per inning (or half, you could say), and they get a 15-second timer to call for a review if the captain or a player thinks that the decision of the on-field umpire is not correct and they want to challenge it. If they call for a review, the third umpire then reviews the situation and asks the on-field umpire to change their decision or stay with their decision based on the results of the review.

The same should be applied to football or any other sport I think and that will be fair to both teams, a limited number of chances for asking for a review and also a timer the review can be called within.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 25, 2023, 02:58:15 PM
English player Jason Roy and a couple of other players as well are now entertaining the idea of dropping their central contracts for T-20 Gigs, most of them are white ball cricketers tho.

I guess in the next few years we'll see many players will take this route. Make sense if they are not making it into national teams or getting old.

https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/jason-roy-planning-to-terminate-ecb-contract-to-play-major-league-cricket-in-the-us-1378294
This change was expecting because as things were going in last few years surely many more players will be done this same specially from top boards because now playing for national team is never been profitable for players, so they need to think about this which will bring good changes from boards as well as having legislation about this all.

First we have from West Indian players now from English and soon will be others even I am not afraid about Indians because they have enough money from IPL, but changes are never been stoppable by anyone and as we are having few good leagues like in the USA, UAE and few more countries many international players will be on verge of Roy line, and we will have steps for going like soccer and reduction in other formats as well.
228  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: May 25, 2023, 10:26:52 AM
do you think, this is possible or they are already doing it? popular game providers like evolution, pragmatic, etc.
That's an interesting take on live roulette gambling and the user seems to have really investigated the topic. I have heard about it in the past that the roulette ball and wheel can be  manipulated to give one party an advantage. The question is would you risk your whole reputation to scam a few customers? I know from some physical casinos that also run online live roulette tables and they use the exact same tables as in their physical casino. If news come out the tables are not legit than the casino could close it's doors, nobody would visit again. I don't think the risk pays of for the casino, because roulette is already a profitable game by itself. The green numbers 0 and 00 ensure that long term the casino will make money with their tables. Hopefully this was a minor incident and won't be discovered at other casinos too.
Well, one can easily find a lot of such incidents and things that will make it suspicious that the casino is cheating the gamblers and not being totally honest with the bettors and the outcomes of the games, it might be true sometimes if the casino is not very reputable and pretty new but it isn't always correct especially when there is a reputable casino in question.

Besides, every single gambler playing at a table will surely sense it if the casino is cheating them with every high bet they make because it is not possible for the house to win every single bet when a gambler has a high stake.

Aping in to just tokens that has just been released: By doing this i don't have even the time to do decent research. I try to look everything as fast as i can and hope for the best. With this tactic i have found my best micro caps. I have also been bought into some instant rug pulls.
This is very risky especially if you didn't do any research. Like your only basis is "just been released". This is gambling.
But I know a lot of people are making huge money by just doing this.

The list on top is better, especially the real-world use case and good tokenomics. You must always do research first and know everything before you put your money because in the long run, you will be profitable by just doing that.
It's obviously too risky to invest in projects that are just released, especially if you have not researched and analyzed them well. We all know that some of the newly launched projects do manage to get them together and come out as good projects after some time, but most of them fail miserably since they don't have a proper plan for their projects.

A lot of teams only come up with a short-term plan of releasing a project, running an ICO or a token sale to gain funds, and then vanish from the scene without letting anyone know, the investors of such projects regret it later for why they wasted their money on it.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: May 24, 2023, 03:26:40 PM
Mumbai Indians opt to bat and are in great form at the moment. Their batting performance today is really good, the way they are batting at the moment, they can expect 200+ runs in the match. Mumbai Indians are more likely to win the match if they can perform well in the entire game. If LSG are to win, they must take wickets and put the batsmen under pressure. At the moment, Mumbai Indians score 126 runs 4 wickets 14 overs, of course they are batting well in the match. and if they keep batting like this, their runs will definitely increase and there will be a chance of winning the match.
Good toss win and having batting first both were in MI's favour but Naveen-ul-haq done damage which bring back LSG into match things looking interesting because after fall of SKY and Cameroon Green LSG bowlers having good time, and they are in well control.

But, from here still they need to work hard because lower order can create problems for them and if MI able to have target around 180 to 190 then surely things could be in favour of them because target like this is never been easy to chase but from here dew factor can go into LSG favour, but they need to bat responsibly if they want to qualify for the second qualifier against GT.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: May 24, 2023, 07:18:00 AM
Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans. In today's match, Chennai Super Kings batted first and set Gujarat Titans a target of 173 runs. I would say it will be very easy for Gujarat Titans to meet the target of 173 runs. I am hopeful that Gujarat Titans will easily complete this target. Gujarat Titans team has many skilled batsmen. Now let's see how many overs Gujarat Titans play meet this target.
Most of the peoples were confident about GT to chase this target easily even I was sure because their batting is much better and have few good aggressive batsmen which can handle this situation easily but sadly in the first qualifier match no one able to play any positive role just Gill was on, and his effort was also not enough for having win for his team with CSK bowlers were also really impressive Jadeja done good job and bowler good bowling which helps his team to secure 10th final of IPL history after winning this match by 15 runs.

Now we will have eliminator which is going to play between LSG vs Mumbai Indians at Chennai so most chances team which bat first have chance for the qualifier no 2.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 23, 2023, 04:15:20 PM
Intentions play an important role, but we are humans and we need stuff to makes us think twice when these intentions are being obfuscated by our own "humanity". Recognizing and acknowledging these tendencies is an essential step in practicing responsible gambling and it is in our hands to use the best resources and share them with others here.
I guess you are right, intention is a big factor when starting yourself in participating in this kind of activities, the way you handle that intention will reflect in every action that you are taking, if you can continue limiting or focusing yourself without exceeding from that intention then sharing the best practice will be usable.

This information on how to completely limit yourself with that intention can be used as a basis and for sure, many people will benefit as
it can prevent addictions if being practice in the right ways.
It's pretty difficult to teach addicts what's the right way to use such information that can help them, most of the time, they don't even consider themselves to be in a problem and they think they are just gambling and having fun which is basically just an initial display of how gambling addiction begins without the addict noticing how deep they've fallen in this will.

The intention of a gambler in general is to win a lot of money, and in pursuit of that, they become addicted, and instead of winning anything, they gamble away everything they ever had in their lives without even regretting it.
233  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 23, 2023, 03:22:38 PM
Is it safe or dumb to use your Credit card for online gambling because of free bonus rewards on signup and initial 3 months purchase? Will you take such risks with your card for such rewards? A friend informed me that some casinos gives better reward if you have a credit card with high credit score at around 800, he mentioned how he make 200$ from Freedom Flex after using over 600$. He also mentioned other like capital one

What are the disadvantages of using a credit card on online casinos? Any? Would you dare do such to earn more money?
Using credit cards for gambling doesn't seems a great practice but when you have the money and intention of gambling as well then you can use the card to access the available perk and just repay the credit card bill even before the bill generation so it won't affect anything also will help you to obtain the available extra perk. But when you do it with the intention of making money then its wrong and imagine what if you didn't win bets and you don't have money to pay back the bill on time?
It's not only about the credit that will be used to get the perks and bonuses offered by the platform, your card and bank account can get compromised and you will be charged way more than you might have expected which in turn will increase the used credits which will be a big loss for you and that is the reason why you shouldn't provide your credit card details to anyone unless the platform is trusted and reputable.

Remember, your greed will always get you in trouble, no matter what it is about. If you become greedy, you will most probably lose more than what you might gain and in most cases, there is no gain at all and only losses.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another side of Sports betting you may not know about on: May 23, 2023, 11:15:00 AM
What you are saying will actually just be a chain that rotates in a gambling because the insiders who participate in betting also use larger amounts of money so there will be no possible operation that will succeed because everything will return to the money where when there is money in huge amount no one can stop it.
Actually this is very detrimental for us because it can change the results that should already be obvious.
But it's also those with the bigger bucks who will reign supreme in sports betting.
There are many cases in sports betting and especially in football, sometimes there is fixing the score in every game so that we can lose because we chose the wrong club with the seed, that's why I'm more interested in sports betting in the big league and never betting on the minor leagues because it usually happens a lot. fraud in it and many people who do business like that.

I've heard of cheating cases like this in football, where insiders already know the results so they can bet big money to get big wins too in the stakes.  Cheesy
Do you really think that no fixing happens in the big leagues? If you think so, you are wrong. Fixing or cheating is done even in the big leagues and tournaments but it is done on a lower scale and done very secretly so that the news about such things never surpasses, even if the management comes to know about it, they would never disclose it knowing it will ruin the reputation of the team.

And about insiders, yes, it happens a lot of times when insiders know the results in advance, and they sometimes manage to place bets based on that and win a lot of money but sometimes they are not allowed to do so.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: May 23, 2023, 10:01:32 AM
Bull run is normal before halving, but it is not going to be strong enough, which would be followed by bear market again. That is what that happened recently when bitcoin got to $31000. Maybe the price of bitcoin will increase, but I am still thinking that it would decrease up to $20000 before halving which will indicate a strong buy before halving which might not make bitcoin to still be more than $30000. Halving will come and the real all-time-high bull market will become reality.
The fact is,  this prediction is born out of personal opinion,  and we can't tell if the bull market will come before or after Bitcoin halves but what we are certain of is that Bitcoin block rewards are going to be reduced after the halving and that point to more scarcity that can easily trigger a bull market,  but then you did well in your predictions based I  previous market actions which are on records.

The best option left for us to take advantage of the market before anything else is to make sure we have enough funds to buy more Bitcoin whenever it touched a discounted price before the bull market begins.
The halving event cuts down the block reward for miners which means that the Bitcoins that currently being mined will reduce and that doesn't mean that the current circulating supply will reduce, so it doesn't really bring immediate scarcity but it only helps in slowing down the circulation which will eventually have an effect on the price since demand increases and circulation reduces due to it.

The main reason why halving can become a trigger for the bull market is because people think of it that way and they will buy in bulks before the halving which will make the price go up and there will be a lot of demand at that time.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Supercycle? on: May 22, 2023, 03:48:23 PM
Bull run will come even if we like it or not, it is because bitcoin is not stable price will up and sometimes down because there are investors that come and go and i believe that in the near future its user will rise drastically because of its amazing features and uses, in my country there are stores that accept crypto as payment it is truly amazing.
If someone in your place already wants to accept crypto as payment for goods at their shop, that's definitely an extraordinary thing because not many countries have adopted crypto so there are still many shops that don't want to accept payments via crypto. A close example is where I am where I still have to constantly rely on fiat when I want to shop for anything because there are no shops here that accept crypto as payment.

So what you're experiencing there is clearly a very good thing because with a store willing to accept crypto as payment, of course it will make people start to be interested in crypto and try to get to know Bitcoin further and have the intention to own it because it can already be used for buying goods in stores even though they are still only in certain shops.
That's a positive thing and it is not available in a lot of countries at this time, and we will still need to go pretty far to see that happening all around. Bitcoin is still in the adoption process and there is still a lot of time for it to complete mainstream adoption levels after which it will be widely accepted by merchants all around the globe.

Until then, it will mainly be used as an investment asset where people might be interested in buying and storing it only to gain profits over time but not because they want to use it as a payment method or to pay for goods and services.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 22, 2023, 08:35:30 AM
Harry Kane purported move to  Man City few seasons ago was blocked Daniel Levy Tottenham chairman, Honestly I felt sorry for him because he had never won any trophy in his career despite scoring a lot of goals for his present club, Harry Kane should have been in stiff competition in terms of goal scoring with Haaland had it been Kane was playing for a very good club, however there was a rumour of his likely move to Man Utd next season, If such offer eventually become real he shouldn't resist it having played his part for Tottenham I believe it's high time he move elsewhere to win trophy because age is no longer in his side.
This is a season that Chelsea should soon forget. Whether that will work is the question. At least they have enough money there by spreading the contracts over a number of years. They may have thought it through, but is it enough for Chelsea? I think so, but you can only do that if you can get a good trainer for the group. And that is certainly not Lampard, far too little experience and I also think that as a trainer he is not good enough. But he is a club icon, so he may get a chance to continue as head coach for next season.
So how should we describe Chelsea's season? Worse than bad actually. I also don't remember Chelsea's London ever having such a bad season. They are all individually seen very good players, then you should never let it come to that? The appointment of Potter was a big mistake, but Lampard taking over was not exactly a very wise choice to put it that way. I also don't know who they can appoint for this job. Arne Slot would be a perfect coach. But try prying it loose at Feyenoord.
There is no doubt Chelsea team and their fans need to forget about this season because this is going to hurt them badly for long time now we have just one round left and most chances they will be able to jump at 11th spot which is surely worst in last few years specially under Russian owner they achieve amazing success but first season without him bring them down badly even they have few top quality players, but sadly they were also failed to bring their best in current situation.

Bringing Graham Potter was the worst decision from the new management this all ruins this season and team's quality badly but hopefully now things could be in better shape as we will heading for the next season and many players will be out of this squad and who is going to manage hopefully will be clear all soon.
238  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 21, 2023, 06:06:00 PM
Casino Scam is common with new sites. That is why whenever a site share the bonus or any other offer, everyone should gain good knowledge about that site before restoration or opposite. Until good information about that site is available, there should not be deposit. Moreover, I agree with you in any such case, one should definitely deposit a small amount of deposit first time, if that site get scammed you will loss all the assets so the maximum caution should be taken in this case.
Indeed newly created casinos have more tendency to scam their player since the casino has yet to establish any reputation and the site might be created as scamming of phishing their player of its important information.  So we should be vigilant and reserved when playing in a newly created casino.  There are lots of cases where the player is unable to withdraw their winnings in a newly created casino and ends up being scammed since they never get to withdraw their winnings until the casino shutdown.
That's a very unlikely situation you described at the end, scam platforms barely shut down but they keep looking for more targets once they scam those who have been trapped by them, and the circle continues until the whole community knows about them and then people stop using the platform, and even after that, the developers come back with a different theme, a different website and start doing the same thing again.

This also used to happen back in the days of Bitcoin Doubler scams where once a website is abandoned by users since it wasn't paying, the developers used to create another website with another name and a theme and start their business again.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 21, 2023, 12:41:49 PM
As far as I know various gambling and casino platforms do not offer any gambling loans. I have seen many gambling sites that do not have such facilities or have never heard of any platform offering such loans. Of course, in order to gamble in all casino platforms, you have to make a deposit first and then you can place bets. As far as I can see your friend may have added a credit card or debit card to some casino platform due to which he was able to borrow from there. or it could be that he took a loan from a bank. He later made a deposit on the casino platform and he gambled and won the bet. This is likely because a gambler has no qualms about taking on debt when he becomes addicted to gambling. Maybe it could be that your friend has taken a loan from someone but you don't know about it.
Maybe he was not gambling in an online platform and was using a land-based casino and maybe they provide loans to their loyal customers that they can pay later if they lose or repay it back right at that time if they manage to win with the borrowed money. I'm not sure if that's the case but it is a scenario that could be.

Land-based casinos offer a lot of benefits and stuff to their loyal and high-rolling customers and I've heard this a lot, sometimes hotel rooms, free dinners, and many other things, so maybe providing loans is also one of their options.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving effects, how long they will last? on: May 20, 2023, 08:08:33 PM
There is no one who can tell what will exactly happen every halving.
But we can only speculate on this matter. Even long timers and so-called experts can't give you a guarantee on what's to come.
There may be positive movements before or after halving, but we can't say for sure if that will happen in every halving.
Because the technology is evolving fast and we don't know how long this technology will last.
Who knows in the near future, bitcoin will be obsolete, what can we do if that scenario will happen?
Well, it's true that no one can know the exact outcome of the future or the price movement but what we do is just speculate and predict the future outcomes based on the results we've seen in the past, and about halving, people have seen that the price generally goes pretty high after the halving event and that is what they think will happen again.

And, even if halving has nothing to do with the price movement of Bitcoin, I think this mindset will surely help the price go up since a lot of people will start buying in bunches when the halving is near only with the mindset that they will be in huge profit soon.
