I was already wondering where your comments stuck.

If someone is interested, it would be possible to create an entire forum using burst's messaging system (and aliases for account names). If we make that it's 100% open, and very easy to ignore people (we could build a site of known scam accounts which are auto blocked by the wallet). Anyone interested?

Yes, it would be possible. Each message could not be longer than 1,000 characters and it would cost 1 Burst, which the miners would earn.
I am working already on such a beast for a while. Your "invention" comes too late ;-)

Seriously Elmit, you have no life. I dunno what you're trying to achieve, you should go and make your own scam coin. I won't say anything about it being a scam though, people will be able to see for themselves.
I would love to see if you post this and have to pay for. Maybe you would think twice!!! Correction: ONCE!!!
People DO see for themselves, they do not need your help!

Hey, that's an idea, go and clone burst!!! Make your own thread, make crappy faucets and pools, make a forum, yah know, do your thing man!

Even new coins I have in mind.
My faucet works, my pool works, my asset pays out. All is perfect. What is your problem?
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 29, 2015, 04:12:57 AM
Elmit,

Apparently you're PM'ing people alleging that I'm DDOS attacking you. Now, you may be a terrible human being, but I haven't lowered myself to your standards and attacked your pool. Can you please elaborate on how you think I'm attacking you, and how my attack differs from your pool crashing due to the out of memory error you posted about?

Accusing someone of ddos attacking your pool is a serious allegation - and your accusation is spurious, and malicious - can I please have a retraction and an apology.

Thanks.

H.

I was thinking about (for the sake of PR) can anybody organize a twitter campaign for BURST? (make sure to use #cryptocurrency and #altcoin tags)

I would give away 10 INCOME asset to everybody who would retweet it. A small token for us, a big leap for BURST!

What do you think?

Can you explain more details please.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 28, 2015, 07:35:15 PM
I want to add more information to my burst statistic at http://burst.Mininghere.com

What would you like to see there added?

I don't know if this is possible, but I'd like that you add the total TeraBytes on the network. I have no idea how a such thing could be achieved  Undecided...

This is already there.
I will add to the registered miners also active miners. There is no definition of active miners yet, that can be calculated from the blockchain. I might end up with something like how many miners got paid within the past 100 blocks. Calculate from that the average payment per miner.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 28, 2015, 07:25:14 PM
I think people should stop with the division, we need to unite not divide. If we use divide and conquer then the coin will be conquered by bigger altcoins.

We need to put our minds together and work hard on BURST, all of us.

AdolfFett tried to take control over Burst tonight. All by himself. Like Hitler against the Allies.

We can not let that go. D-Day is tomorrow.

You mean a 51% attack? Or what do you mean by "taking control all by himself"?

I thought the 51% attack has a small chance of happening given that we improved the mining network size.

Read crowetic and DaWallet above.

AdolfFett is not part of the dev-team. He started charging for guides. He took down his sites, all but the pool which makes money.

Without consulting anyone in the team, he starts a c/p self-moderated thread - which I, for instance, asked for many times. But this was not supported by the dev-team. It was all AdolfFett's own actions and idea.

I didn't know that, and therefor I thought it was great at first. When I got the news what happened I did what I could to show what was going on.

I am not part of the dev-team, I just help out a bit, therefor I didn't what he was up to.

I'm sure members of the team can give more details.

For this, that you are not in the team, you are talking quite a lot today.Come on, tell us more.

When you are done, then read about history in the white books. Not what your teacher HAD to tell you.

Bobafett did a lots for BURST. YOU are not a half hight of him. Your strength is to make noise, BIG NOISE.

So, either do something for BURST or just leave the forum and let other people do.

Why do you think I care..? I do a lot for Burst, and I done even more before. In man hours, AdolfFett is way behind me.

I also acted as I did as I severely contributed to the mess by supporting Adolf at first. I felt guilt. I tried to make things better.

I see more that you come too fast to conclusions, act on these, and as you stated, you don't care.

Cool down, write your next post in an hour. Make a plan For Burst and not how to give an answer to a post. Think on your childhood, what makes you happy, and ask yourself why you drifted off your goal in life.

Is there any difference in mining through HDD and mining though SSD?
I am going to buy some SSD for my computer gaming rig and was thinking if i can use also to mine by them.
Do i get more profit by SSD as they are faster or it is same as HDD?

Mining depends on hard disk space and access speed. However, the costs for SSD disks will hardly give a RoI in the near future.

Last year we talked about a cheaper solution, like Facebook storage. They should use bluray disk boxes in a jukebox design. 10 disk in a box.
Unfortunately this project never materialized.

There was also a story about a 10 TB chip, onetime writeable. It was never sold.

It is not a closed thread and it will, people will quickly realize.that the new thread is a censored one. I just don't understand why guestroom.com is not enough censored system.

Why do you need to split the information all over the place. Why do you keep changing names, and why do you not focus on the development and usage of the coin?

Why do you remove services which are not created by the "core"?

http://Http://burst.Mininghere.com has a faucet. Why do you remove it?
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 28, 2015, 02:35:28 PM
Thread is not closed.
Don't move to the censored private thread.

Why do you need another censored forum?

Isn't http://burstforum.com
not enough??
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 28, 2015, 01:13:21 PM

please switch to the new thread, if you are interested in a self-mod thread to prevent spamming and personal wars as it is since hundreds of pages in this one.

The thread is not closed!
It only shows that the new threat is not about Burst, but to delete posts which are not liked by the "core"

I posted the missing faucet:

http://Http://burst.Mininghere.com

And it got deleted.

As said, its not about Burst, it is about censorship

you have already promoted your faucet to the community. if you want to get listet in the op, quote the op, make your mods, and sent me the file, i will then update op.

If you make a new threat to cut off my services, then it is clear censorship. Don't you understand the word censorship?

I have posted the missing faucet. Its up to you to add it or not.

Its time so switch to a self moderated thread, that we can have a discussion about the coin, not the people.

Everybody who wants to discuss the coin and nothing else is invited. Hopefully you support me with this, to end this war between some guys here!!!

NEW BURST THREAD: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1195142.msg12542754#msg12542754

I support this, just discuss coin only things anymore. Can you start with that?

Good!

Tell me about the price of BURST? What should we try next?
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 28, 2015, 08:07:49 AM
Wht so much hate from one to another ? What did Elmit to be so hated ? And to Elmit, why do you hate so much haitch ? It's time for me to choose my side  Grin ! I'm listening to your explanations !

Erkallys, Elmit runs a pool for bot miners and he steals their earnings. I've posted proof of this, but Elmit refuses to do any thing about it - other than attack the messenger. And now he blames me for anything that happens to him. His wallet crashes - I'm ddos him, his asset fails to payout - it's my fault, someone twitters ElmitIsAThief, it's me attacking him.

Elmit is a self deluded dutchman living in Singapore and suffering from an extreme state of  persecution disorder.

CAUTION: LONG POST, get your coffee first!

----------------------------------

Actually his reply already explains everything.
I start with some terms first:

1. Pool
A quote from http://www.coindesk.com/information/get-started-mining-pools/

Pros and cons
If you’re deciding whether to join a mining pool or not, it can be helpful to think of it like a lottery syndicate – the pros and cons are exactly the same. Going solo means you won’t have to share the reward, but your odds of getting a reward are significantly decreased. Although a pool has a much larger chance of solving a block and winning the reward, that reward will be split between all the pool members.
Therefore, joining a pool creates a steady stream of income, even if each payment is modest compared to the full block reward (which currently stands at 25 XBTC).
It is important to note that it is important for a mining pool to not exceed over 51% of the hashing power of the network. If a single entity ends up controlling more than 50% of a cryptocurrency network’s computing power, it could – theoretically – wreak havoc on the whole network. In early 2014, many voiced concerns that the GHash.io bitcoin mining pool was approaching this threshold, and miners were urged to leave the pool.

(more to read there)

My interpretation is to use a pool (for BURST mining) is:
if you have little space plotted for mining you will be better served by using a pool, since you will even with a small mining power, will constantly earn something.
If you have large space plotted for mining, regardless if one account or multiple, you are better served mining solo.

Look up at burst.ninja to find Haitch accounts in Historic Shares. Help him to figure out if his plots would be better to be mined solo or in a pool. Read also 3. botnet below.

2. Theft
Wikipedia is an excellent source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theft
I quote the first paragraph:

In common usage, theft is the taking of another person's property without that person's permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it.[1][2] The word is also used as an informal shorthand term for some crimes against property, such as burglary, embezzlement, larceny, looting, robbery, shoplifting, library theft, and fraud (i.e., obtaining money under false pretenses).[1][2] In some jurisdictions, theft is considered to be synonymous with larceny;[2] in others, theft has replaced larceny. Someone who carries out an act of or makes a career of theft is known as a thief. The act of theft is known by terms such as stealing, thieving, and filching

In my interpretation of above first sentence requires a “proof of theft” - to show that the stolen item EVER existed. Haitch never could bring up this. NEVER.

3. bot networking
https://www.google.com.tw/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=bot+networking&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gfe_rd=cr&ei=GegIVsKZO4nC1ASXlZrACg

First paragraph:
Also called botnet or bot net. A network of computers compromised by Trojans or other malicious code that works together to collectively perform tasks assigned by the network's creator or controller. These tasks may be automated or may be assigned via a control channel such as IRC.

4. persecution disorder.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecutory_delusion I quote the first lines:

Persecutory delusions are a delusional condition in which the affected person believes they are being persecuted. Specifically, they have been defined as containing two central elements:[1]
1. The individual thinks that harm is occurring, or is going to occur.
2. The individual thinks that the perceived persecutor has the intention to cause harm.
According to the DSM-IV-TR, persecutory delusions are the most common form of delusions in schizophrenia, where the person believes "he or she is being tormented, followed, tricked, spied on, or ridiculed."[2] In the DSM-IV-TR, persecutory delusions are the main feature of the persecutory type of delusional disorder. Delusions of persecution may also, somewhat less commonly, appear in manic episodes of bipolar disorder (predominantly irritable mood) and in severe depression with psychotic features.

Now to his words:

“Erkallys, Elmit runs a pool for bot miners and he steals their earnings.”

“Erkallys, Elmit”  is spelled correct.

“runs a pool” is correct too.

“for bot miners”
Read above (1.) “Pros and cons”. I do not see that “I” run a bot net. I not even have knowledge of running a bot net. However, Haitch, out of the blue suddenly mention it. Makes me wonder what he knows in terms of bot net. Is he running a bot net? Is he involved in a bot net?

“and he steals their earnings”

Read above (2.) “Theft”
He is talking about that should have existed. We all know what a block chain is and that it proves the existence of something. Haitch fails to find it in the blockchain. Nor can I.
Read above (4.) “persecution disorder”.

“I've posted proof of this, but Elmit refuses to do any thing about it - other than attack the messenger.”
Indeed he provided lines, which have nothing substantial in it, then could have been written with any text editor. THE BLOCK CHAIN DOES NOT LIE!!!
Second part of the sentence, read  above (4.) “persecution disorder.”

“And now he blames me for anything that happens to him.”

Read (4.)  “persecution disorder.”

“His wallet crashes - I'm ddos him,”

I run several wallets, and one showed an error. I asked the group and I cannot spot a hint in this question, that Haitch has done something to one of my wallets.
However, where in the entire thread came the word DDOS up? I did not mention it, however, I noticed that each time Haitch posts something negative about me, then miraculously also a DDOS attack occurred. Co-incidence Huh I get more and more doubts. Read his remark of bot nets.

“ his asset fails to payout”
Not at all, PetaByte (my only asset I created) always pay out. I waited for the script of ironTiga first, but his script does not fit for my asset. So I delayed the payout. We paid out all what has to be paid out.

“- it's my fault, someone twitters ElmitIsAThief, it's me attacking him.”

My post is already long, just scroll up to my words of a funny faucet user.

Short, somebody creates a Twitter account, names it ElmitIsAThief. NOTE that only Haitch uses all the time this phrase, while hiding in anonymity!!!! This “enemy of Haitch” uses then a Haitch BURST wallet to collect 4 BURSTs from my faucet.
… Read above 4. persecution disorder.

Enjoy using my faucet at http://burst.mininghere.com

“Elmit is a self deluded dutchman living in Singapore and suffering from an extreme state of  persecution disorder.”

He cannot even read the signature! If he could, he would see that the sentence is just wrong. I let it to you to compare this sentence to my signature! And to compare to his words!

No answer, means you did not do ANYTHING for BURST.

I setup the faucet, that people are using and so spreading the word about BURST.

If all goes smoothly next week another BURST project will be open for public.

You can see, I DO things for BURST. Slander is not helpful.

I tell you also what I don't do:
I don't run a bot net
I don't do any illegal activities
I don't sell graphic cards
I don't repair computers
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: September 27, 2015, 01:07:42 PM

Ah, thank you, it didn't show up when I search for it (I even c/p). BTW, how come it's not possible to follow this funny chap?

The first question remains to un-answered but please let that go.

On a PC you need to:
  • mark the text string you want to copy (click with your left mouse button on the first character of the string, keep pressing down the left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer to the end of the string to copy. - It works also from right to left!)
  • CTRL-C = I use my left little finger on the key marked as "Ctrl" and click with the index finger on "c" - another variant is to use the right little finger
  • Some people have difficulty with CTRL-C, they might just use the right mouse button on the marked string and select from the drop down menu Copy
  • Switch to the place you want to copy the string to and use CTRL-V (or click there and use right mouse button to select Paste

(c/p) = Copy/paste, but thanks for spending a few minutes explain that to a man who used computers since the mid-80s.  Cheesy

For some people it is confusing to talk about C-oppy and P-aste, when you use CTRL-C and CTRL-V

On Linux it is the same, but sometimes the copied string seems to be "empty". In such case I paste the string to a text window first and copy it from there.
There is also often the need to add SHIFT to the finger combination.

I do not own a Mac, so maybe somebody else can give you a hint how to copy and paste.

Rest of your text sounds not really English to me, but forgive me I am not a native English speaker, ...

(c/p) =copy/paste

But thanks for spending a few minutes of you valuable time to explain the above to a man who used computers since the mid-80.   Cheesy

And my excuses to dear H.: I've gotten a better understanding of how it is trying to communicate with Elmit. To the community, it won't happen again. But please work on that Twittter account, I'm sure many would join Smiley

Some people you need to explain it in details more than once.

Still could not find any core BURST question in that noise. Nothing to say to BURST???

Let me start with some questions:

What did you do RECENTLY (within a week or so) for BURST, that you believe would help to increase the value of BURST?
Did you make a promotion?
Did you make a PR article?
Did you tweet something about BURST?
Did you helped a person to mine?
...

Anything at all? ? ? ? ?
You can cheat here, you can get help from Headache!

Yep, it's impossible to communicate with elmit - his entire digital presence is there to either spam people, or steal from them. When confronted about this, it attacks, often with slander, more often with bizarre allegations/claims.  The dude needs to take his meds ....

Oh, and the twitter account - I've never used twitter in my life. The burst account Elmit references was mine, a test account with a really weak password - someone guessed it, and cleaned it out,  haven't used it since. So I guess someone is trolling Elmit using my burst account - one thief trolling another thief - karma ....

What a lame excuse!
