Looking at my wallet I see at the right side:

Recent Blocks
Height   Date   Amount + Fee   # TX
146998   9/26/2015 22:44:25   3'338.41831589 + 13        13
146997   9/26/2015 22:37:45   0 + 0   0
146996   9/26/2015 22:37:38   0 + 0   0
146995   9/26/2015 22:34:39   4'498.26915206 + 8       8
146994   9/26/2015 22:30:17   1 + 1   1
146993   9/26/2015 22:28:41   6'382.35132008 + 14        14
146992   9/26/2015 22:25:39   0 + 0   0
146991   9/26/2015 22:25:29   0 + 0   0
146990   9/26/2015 22:23:26   0 + 0   0
146989   9/26/2015 22:15:02   0.00000001 + 1       1

Can anybody explain what are "Amount + Fee" and "# TX" represent?

I don't even load the wallet more than once every few months at most, but I'm 99% sure amount + fee represents the amount of burst being transferred in that block, fee is the total amount of fees the miner would collect, and # TX is the number of transactions in that block. Aren't you supposed to be like a BURST expert, Elmit? How the hell do you not know this? Is this a trick question? Am I taking crazy pills right now?!

That's is what makes this thread so exciting.
I could not spot the answer to my question, but insult = the best advertisement for BURSTs, right?
So, newcomers will know to stay away from this coins, because asking anything will bring up such "non-answers".
It is not a shame NOT to know it, but then just keep your "non-answer" for yourself and let people talk who might know the answer.

So, you do not even load the wallet anymore. Means you gave up mining, give up using BURSTs, ...., or you are not interested anymore in the balance, or is it just, that you do not know what you see there?

Now, explain me the details to it:
What means 0+0, 1+1, ...

Does these now more frequently "0+0" mean, that the coin is used less and less?

Do you want to say that you bought "crazy pills" with BURSTs?

...

I never mined BURST, I just like the idea of a NXT clone with a quasi-PoW distribution, so I only sync my wallet occasionally.

Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you, but this is pretty basic stuff, and you do purport to be a kind of high level BURST user running a pool and issuing assets and stuff.

0+0 means there are 0 BURST included as transactions in the block with 0 BURST in fees. 1+1 would mean that there is 1 BURST in the block with 1 BURST in tx fees.

If you see 0+0 more frequently, then yes, that means there are fewer transactions on the network.

I wish I could buy some crazy pills with BURST, did someone list them on the marketplace? Tongue

More details please.

0 + 0 = Block Reward that contains no actual coin movement transactions and no fees hence 0+0 -> http://burstcoin.biz/block/18222497988761196557

924.59 + 3 = Transaction that contained 924.59 total burst with 3 burst in transaction fees --> http://burstcoin.biz/block/1295872611599758289

1 + 1 = Transaction were 1 burst was moved with a 1 burst transaction fee --> http://burstcoin.biz/block/9303499655229736371

X + Y

X = Total Burst contained in the transaction
Y = Total fees attached to that transaction

0+0 is a special case, a block was found but there were no transactions to record within that block

Lets look at Block

147131 http://burstcoin.biz/block/18222497988761196557
or
14134 http://burstcoin.biz/block/15261602898072851657

These look like blocks that were solved but there were not any actual transactions to record during that block reward time period.  147131 is solo mined, 14134 is pool mined, and found on the Burst.ninja pool.  If you dig into the block chain a little deeper you can probably find when Burst.ninja actual made payments its miners for this block, and those payments would be on a block with an X + Y type identifier were X & Y !=0.  The act of paying the miners requires a transaction to be recorded.

A 0 + 1 type identifier is probably a message, reward recipient change or some other utility that requires a fee but no transaction payload.

Happy Bursting

Is it possible to re-code Burst's marketplace into something like this: https://cryptothrift.com

Compared to Burst's, they look attractive. They even claim to have escrow (and offer... pictures!). If possible, do Burst have any qualified coders to be inspired by them but adding AT...?

thank you for your explanation.
I guess the 0+1 could be also a message.
In these 10 blocks were only 37 BURSTs transaction fee. As I understand would that be the fee - or ONLY rewards for the miners, when all coins are mined.
That is pretty low!!!

When I looked before at the right side of the wallet, I thought that the reward is also included, ... seeing now more 0 made me wondering.

A funny faucet story:

Somebody, not named here, but you can guess it, created a brand new Twitter account with the user name "ElmitIsAThief" - That already says who it is.

He needed an email account for that as well. Twitter does not accept an already used email account.

He gained 4 BURSTs !!!! - makes me laugh even more!

I assume to create, verify an email / Twitter account takes 2 minutes.

He followed the instruction to post on this Twitter account the message:
#MiningHere Thank you for giving me free BURSTs to mine at: burst . mininghere . com *BURST-FRDZ-SDVY-RQND-DV6UH
... which is seen by exactly ZERO followers!!!!

If he would have used the same BURST address in the faucet again, he would have seen the message:

Congratulations!
BURST-FRDZ-SDVY-RQND-DV6UH has received 4 BURSTs at 2015-09-25 12:55:16
See details:  https://block.burstcoin.info/tx.php?tx=254234699468028181

If you want to solve the puzzle (and could not guess by now who it might have been), click the link, to know WHO got a "salary" of 4 BURSTs / 2 minutes
which is at the current rate of 0.06539963 US$ per 1000 BURSTs and a monthly working hour of 170 hours:

4 x 60/2 x 170 x 0.06539963/1000 = 0.019619889 US$ /month

Congratulations!!! You made my day!!!

Ah, thank you, it didn't show up when I search for it (I even c/p). BTW, how come it's not possible to follow this funny chap?

The first question remains to un-answered but please let that go.

That makes now the original and your answer "funny".

Let's return to some more directly BURST issues:

Pool Statistics
Current time: 2015-09-27 10:57:19 UTC
Block: 147,298
Difficulty: 8,160
Est. Networksize (PB): 8.5568621059419

It seems that all these hard disks that were supposed to go online over the last week could not be plotted and are not mining yet.

The first question remains to un-answered but please let that go.

On a PC you need to:
  • mark the text string you want to copy (click with your left mouse button on the first character of the string, keep pressing down the left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer to the end of the string to copy. - It works also from right to left!)
  • CTRL-C = I use my left little finger on the key marked as "Ctrl" and click with the index finger on "c" - another variant is to use the right little finger
  • Some people have difficulty with CTRL-C, they might just use the right mouse button on the marked string and select from the drop down menu Copy
  • Switch to the place you want to copy the string to and use CTRL-V (or click there and use right mouse button to select Paste

For some people it is confusing to talk about C-oppy and P-aste, when you use CTRL-C and CTRL-V

On Linux it is the same, but sometimes the copied string seems to be "empty". In such case I paste the string to a text window first and copy it from there.
There is also often the need to add SHIFT to the finger combination.

I do not own a Mac, so maybe somebody else can give you a hint how to copy and paste.

Rest of your text sounds not really English to me, but forgive me I am not a native English speaker, ...

Can anybody explain what are "Amount + Fee" and "# TX" represent?

I am not an expert but 0+0 means "total coins sent in this block"+"for how much fees" (this is a tips to know how much transactions because fees are generally 1 BURST). #TX means "how much transactions". Like said before #TX an fees are most of the time the sames.

Yep, it's impossible to communicate with elmit - his entire digital presence is there to either spam people, or steal from them. When confronted about this, it attacks, often with slander, more often with bizarre allegations/claims.  The dude needs to take his meds ....

Oh, and the twitter account - I've never used twitter in my life. The burst account Elmit references was mine, a test account with a really weak password - someone guessed it, and cleaned it out,  haven't used it since. So I guess someone is trolling Elmit using my burst account - one thief trolling another thief - karma ....

But thanks for spending a few minutes of you valuable time to explain the above to a man who used computers since the mid-80.   Cheesy

Ah, thank you, it didn't show up when I search for it (I even c/p). BTW, how come it's not possible to follow this funny chap?

The first question remains to un-answered but please let that go.

(c/p) = Copy/paste, but thanks for spending a few minutes explain that to a man who used computers since the mid-80s.  Cheesy

(c/p) =copy/paste

Some people you need to explain it in details more than once.

Still could not find any core BURST question in that noise. Nothing to say to BURST???

Let me start with some questions:

What did you do RECENTLY (within a week or so) for BURST, that you believe would help to increase the value of BURST?
Did you make a promotion?
Did you make a PR article?
Did you tweet something about BURST?
Did you helped a person to mine?
...

Anything at all? ? ? ? ?
You can cheat here, you can get help from Headache!

No answer, means you did not do ANYTHING for BURST.

I setup the faucet, that people are using and so spreading the word about BURST.

If all goes smoothly next week another BURST project will be open for public.

You can see, I DO things for BURST. Slander is not helpful.

I tell you also what I don't do:
I don't run a bot net
I don't do any illegal activities
I don't sell graphic cards
I don't repair computers

Elmit - you're an asshole and a thief. I'll say it out loud, I don't need a sock puppet account to say it - I'l say it myself. Your "faucet" requires people to spam twitter, your pool steals from your bot miners. You make intelligible rants. You are bad for burst - go away.

Erkallys, Elmit runs a pool for bot miners and he steals their earnings. I've posted proof of this, but Elmit refuses to do any thing about it - other than attack the messenger. And now he blames me for anything that happens to him. His wallet crashes - I'm ddos him, his asset fails to payout - it's my fault, someone twitters ElmitIsAThief, it's me attacking him.

Elmit is a self deluded dutchman living in Singapore and suffering from an extreme state of  persecution disorder.
