What should they write?  Chocolate Chip Cookies?

This has been discussed at length on the forum.  Bitmain is doing what they are required to.  Please stop blaming them for the shitty import rules of your godforsaken Country.

Computer parts.

Which is accurate.
I am sorry which part of the computer was it I forgot? You're asking them to lie on their exports for your benefit.

The part that hashes SHA-256. Its not a computer by itself it has no power supply.

Lie ? Are you fucking kidding me ?

''bitcoin miner'' is a lie. People mine namecoin/peercoin etc. too. We can play this all day bro.
228  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BITMAIN has horrible customer service on: September 30, 2014, 01:18:48 PM
It has been in customs for 2 weeks(and counting) + 32%tax on a super inflated invoice they attached to the package. I bought the items with Bitcoin not Dollar nor any other government currency. They tacked on a ridiculous Dollar amount to an invoice and left me out to dry.

You mean the invoice is much more expensive then what you actually paid?

They write the price in USD (based on how many btc you paid them) the day they ship.

Bitcoin dropped a lot in the last weeks so...
229  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 29, 2014, 09:31:48 PM
Can anyone tell me how to make an SP10 run relatively quiet? I read a few things about running them down at 1000w, is that safe. Even if its just at 1Th/s I am fine with that. What is your advice?

lol @ people taking noise into consideration when buying mining equipment.

If you have to care about that, just buy btc directly, mining is not for your type.

I'll be among the first to say it.

Will. Never. ROI.

(maybe it will, in the 1-5% which does not even cover your time and work)
234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dear PayPal on: September 25, 2014, 08:25:43 PM
And for what it's worth, I trust no company, none - zero - ever - to store my bitcoin for me. Why would I?

At least they have the assets to repay what they ''lose''

Now for their chargebacks and other ToS scams thats another story and yes they are thief.

239  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Conned out of BTC a Civil Suite or Criminal Offense? on: September 11, 2014, 06:04:56 PM
Please don't refer me to a real laywer, I'm just looking for those that portray one the on the Interwebs.   Grin

My friend accepted a check for BTC.  Yea, newbie move.  Anyhow, as you guessed it... check made "boing" sound upon deposit.  Shocked

So, just curious if he were to pursue this to get back his magic Internet money, would it be a civil suite or a criminal offense?

Criminal charges wont get you a cent.

Civil lawsuit is doable.

Your friend is retarded i would not put any effort on this since it was so easily avoidable.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is news about Braintree ***NOT*** PayPal/eBay. Let's not forget that. on: September 11, 2014, 01:10:22 AM
I don't understand how bitcoins could be implemented into Paypal, for example I can add some $ to my Paypal account using btc?

They give you USD for your BTC you send into their wallet. Other questions ?

I have not seen anything specifically addressing implementation. Please cite a source.
Not saying that this is what they WILL do. Saying that is what they COULD do. Because the guy asked how it could be done.

Cite source lol.

OK, so you pulled it out of your ass. Got it.

There is a number of ways they could implement it. It could be used as a deposit method. This would be a net negative for exchange rate. That could also allow it as a withdrawal method. A net positive. I would like to see paypal accounts denominated in BTC. Just like others can pay you USD using their CAD (for example). Paypal does the exchange, and take a cut on that as well as the payment. This would be a very serious positive for the price of bitcoin.

Yes i pulled that out of my ass because that was the guy's question. I answered that way because the question is retarded.
