221  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 23, 2014, 09:15:43 PM
I'm convinced that what they're doing is exactly what they did over the four day Easter "break." They used an excuse not to pay out any interest, and kept the profits for themselves to build their bankroll. Right now, every investor (big and small) has their "legacy" balance locked away, unable to withdraw or earn interest. Yet they have not stopped trading while they do their "accounting" (and how that's possible, I have no idea). So what they're doing is basically keeping 99% of the profits from arbitrage, paying out a tiny trickle to everyone based on what's been released from the legacy balance.

I would HOPE that what this results in is a big enough bankroll that they can pay people out...because they've got to know that when they start releasing peoples' balances, they're going to be dealing with a mass exodus.

When you say "build their bankroll". I don't believe they are doing it just to pad their own wallets. I think they are out of money and are having to lock funds to trade with in order to pay back large interest owed.

If it is, there is no person named "Ron" there and their news site is void of any mention of btc-arbs.

*** POSTED****
The acquisition process is going well and things are returning to normal. You will notice that we have made 2 legacy fund transfers so far, with more coming soon. Daily Result: 1.2%.

Where is that posted? I wish he would be more clear on some of these times, ie what does 'soon' actually mean? Because it's going on 22 hours since I had my last transfer.

Go to the results page and click today's date (the number).

Got it, thank you.

Things are heating up.....hahaha
https://btc-arbs.com/results/2014/04/23.html

Actually got a return,,, if I hold out for the next 2 years I will get all my return back. Granted there is no server crash, easters, or acquisitions.

If? If you hold out? Do you or us have any choice? Smiley

Results were just posted, but still no transfer from legacy to active, at least not for me.
227  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 23, 2014, 08:03:01 PM
I opened a support ticket yesterday with btc-arbs, asking for more information or a web site to global capital alliance - response so far: NONE!

just FYI

as mentioned earlier in this thread:

http://globalalliancecapital.com

Called them, Global Alliance Capital, LLC
87 Main Street
Matawan, NJ 07747
Phone: 732-290-9189
Fax: 732-812-4080

Guy had "no idea what you are talking about"

click..........

Mhhhh ... maybe somebody should just ask them whether they are the buyer or on ...

The have a online-contact form ...

You people have it backwards, it's not "Global Alliance Capital". In the Acquisition message from btc-arbs, it states "Global Capital Alliance", not Global Alliance Capital.

229  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: DO NOT DEPOSIT - IT'S A SCAM!! on: April 23, 2014, 06:36:25 PM
Since Friday, April 18, I'm not able to login anymore - says invalid credentials. I contacted support on Friday, waited during holidays and contacted them again yesterday and still no answer. Since I registered AFTER the heartbleed bug, I use a Linux-based desktop and I have 15+ characters long password I doubt I've been victim to phishing or other attack. Admins simply blocked my account and stole little more than 10 BTC deposited!

DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY TO BTC-ARBS, IT'S A SCAM!!!

I find this statement hard to believe. While you may have issues accessing your account, I don't believe they have just run off with the money because it's a scam. Have you read any of the previous posts? btc-arbs is operating under a specific MO in this mess/ponzi/rip-off, and that MO doesn't include locking people out just to take funds.

Has anyone received anything aside from the 2 known transfers from legacy to active? Anyone with a 3rd transfer?
231  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 23, 2014, 03:29:41 PM
What nobody has explained is 'why all the theatrics?'.... If he wanted to load up his private plane and fly off to the Caribbean  with our money, why not just close the site and move on.  Really I believe this whole horse and pony show is so he/they can try to make up what was lost.
232  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 23, 2014, 02:06:16 PM
and 'Adam" who quit (theoretically) this wonderful project is somewhere on the globe (most probably a nice island - recently bought with our btc)....drinking a cocktail...as I said: it is a case of keep dreaming Smiley...I won't believe anything until I will see my btc withdrawal...which does not seem will happen soon. Smiley...plus, I remember one message (point 6 from the acquisition email):

6. USD Deposits will no longer be accepted. USD Balances are currently being paid out directly to USD users as we speak. If you have a USD Balance, you will soon (if not already) receive a message from our new team with instructions on how to either convert your USD balance to Bitcoin, or withdraw it entirely. Some users have already been sent the value of their accounts to their respective e-currency account.

I am very curious: was anyone among us that actually was able to have his/her USD sent to their account?
We are talking only about BTCs here...no USD...it is strange why they will reimburse the USD - bank transfers are probably better monitored and you can be better tracked down...or am I wrong?

Is there a way we can recover our investments regarding BTC? Any constructive message is welcome...other critics are welcome as well Smiley

I tried to move a USD amount into btc-arbs, I requested twice for the wire information and never received anything, so I bought btc and gave up on the USD idea. I would be surprised if anyone had any USD there.

I woke up to the exact same balance I went to bed with, which tells me this transfer from legacy to active account is not automated, so this checking (which isn't really taking place, but I'm playing along), is done manually. So to my previous post point: transfering these small amounts to everyone's account is high overhead and doesn't make sense.  What makes sense is: during the last outage, there was a run on the accounts, now in order to make up for it, the funds have been frozen and there is a mad scramble behind the scenes to try to make some of the money back needed to pay everyone.
234  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 23, 2014, 03:45:53 AM
I hate how we are having to guess how and why they are doing it like this, a little more information would be nice.
235  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 23, 2014, 02:53:20 AM
I have had one transfer from legacy to active, it was for .009. I don't understand why do this, it seems like more cost and overhead to send such small amounts to each account.
236  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 22, 2014, 10:34:25 PM
MNO means what? Who is that?

With btc-arbs reporting a 2+% gain today, did anyone see any increase from your 1%? I see no additional profit in the transaction logs on my active coins.
238  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 22, 2014, 07:55:33 PM
It's a bit weird, it's an unbelievable story, but on the other hand, hwy even bother writing a story like that and asking people to ask questions to their support when you plan on running with the money anyway?

and why does everyone have 1% of their initial investment as confirmed money and the rest as 'unconfirmed' money?

Well i guess there's nothing else we can do but wait and hope.

Perhaps Adam actually has good intentions but just ran out of money, so he locked everything but 1% and is somehow hoping to pull a miracle out of his ass and pay back the locked funds over time - not sure, just thoughts to possibly answer your question.
239  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 22, 2014, 07:39:34 PM
Wow, I'm amazed at how people put everything in this site. I never totally trusted btc-arbs, although I did lose money; I had been pulling out weekly and got about half what I had put in - out!
I don't believe there is a way to get money back from this site, a class-action might work, but typically those things give you pennies back and the lawyers make all the money. You might have better results saying a prayer and hoping the BS statements are actually true and they are going to try to take this site 'to the moon'
240  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 22, 2014, 07:25:52 PM
I have a hard time believing that this new company actually wants to take btc-arbs 'to the moon'. If they lock people's money away, it's only going to cause people to withdraw immediately once it's transferred from legacy balance (if it ever is).
