Ahh bugger, just sent 50k to coinmarket, only problem is i transferred them to a Doge address (still half asleep) what happens now? i have a feeling they are gone.

The price is going down.

That's good, means we can buy up more cheap VTC and then sell them in a few days when the dumpers have ran out of coins and the price goes up above 0.0150000. Might shoot right back up when China wakes up in a few hours.

Good time to buy while people are dumping, because it is a difficult coin to mine and generally only now in small amounts at a time the value will rocket again soon because there will not be enough coins to meet demand.

I'll dump them on coinmarket but more than likely I'll sit on them for a bit, gone back to mining Doge for now until block halving at least. How am i trolling? i have been supporting Digibyte but it isn't taking off, it is dying on coinmarket, many other coins that have been released after have, just look at Vertcoin.

Even though coinmarket is the only exchange, volume is very low, way to low for Cryptsy to touch it. I'm thinking of dumping all mine and moving on, if it continues to not make progress then coinmarket might drop it and then that will be the end of DGB.

My common sense says that since Vertcoin is better than Litecoin, it will eventually have a higher market cap than Litecoin, which means this is only the beginning of the value increase. Are there any flaws in such thinking?
This will never happen since ltc and btc are the only 2 coins which have massive support. VTC, like many other new coins, is just a temporary coin to earn (or lose) quick money.

Bullshit, VTC is quickly gaining support and a lot of big players are buying in even at these prices. The only thing VTC would need right now is places to actually use them.

In a few weeks you will not even remember VTC Cheesy I wish you guys all the luck but do not fool yourselves.

What rubbish  Cheesy

Time to buy, it is going to break 0.0149000 again in a few hours or sooner.

I think Cryptsy is going to be slow due to the massive amount of people making deposits, i don't think the sell is live yet, looks like they are testing.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTC] Vertcoin - Adaptive N-factor in Scrypt - No more ASICs on: February 05, 2014, 12:12:29 AM
Holy crap, how many freakin' confirms does Cryptsy want for VTC?!?!?!

No deposits are going in, don't think they have fully activated it yet. Any ones showing in pending on Cryptsy?
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTC] Vertcoin - Adaptive N-factor in Scrypt - No more ASICs on: February 04, 2014, 11:52:08 PM
Going to be awhile before any deposits go into Cryptsy.

The problem is it is on coinmarket where the price can easily be manipulated, the sooner it gets on Cryptsy the better.

I am solo mining and on my pc it shows a diff of 16 but on both of my rigs it says 79.5M and in the logs it shows

[30/01/2014 20:51:58] Mining Rig reported network difficulty is now 79,462,491.26.

What is going on? wondered why my PC was finding most of the blocks. My rigs are both running BAMT with 3 MSI 280x cards in each.

I'm sure in a month or so if the coin continues to do well then it will be added to Cryptsy, it needs to grow more first.

How much longer before you start processing payouts again Gazza1?

Its me you want to have. Not long now. I've finished getting the double payouts.
Now i'm inserting it into the db with transaction id's. After that you have it.

Ah sorry, quoted the wrong post. I clicked cashout but i forgot to set my payout id, i have entered it now will the payment still come through once you start payouts again? i did try again after but got "You already have one active manual payout request".
