222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 12, 2014, 08:12:36 PM

So what is everyone mining right now?

I am mining some MicroCoin at the moment because I find the coin has potential.

A newly setup rig for a friend is test-mining Yacoin on some low end cards until the six GTX 660Ti cards arrive.

Christian

I'm on microcoin too, doing almost 200 KHps with a GTX660. That's around 180 kMRC /day (4 to 5 mBTC at the going rates on poloniex). Still better profit than MAX. Smiley

I wonder though if I got the settings right (--algo=scrypt-jane:MRC -d gtx660 -i 0 -H 2 -m 1 -s 1 -C 0)

Happy birthday Christian and thank you for all your work !

Difficulty just dropped to 2500 lol

yeah, why is that?

I guess it's because big pools keep crashing + gravity well + fast retargeting
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MAXCOIN POOLS LIST - crowdsourced on: February 07, 2014, 10:35:57 PM
DwarfPool is recovered. Keccak implemented, Maxcoin-devs error fixed.
http://dwarfpool.com/max
No found blocks yet, but now all shares accepted right.

I confirm this working with minimal friction. Two blocks found.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 10:32:28 PM
Dwarfpool working for me now, thank you whoever told us here about it!  To da moon?

Works nice for me too. Two blocks found already. Cheesy

This is strange 1GH pool website is not working but the miners are still going and I'm still getting payouts...

Not working here.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 09:45:40 PM
almost all pools under DDOS

Still diff is high. Something smells fishy. Maybe there are some large, non-public pools?

So, rocketpool working for anybody? Smiley
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 09:35:08 PM
I only get (Booooo) on every pool i try. And every time. Is there something wrong with my commandline?

cudaminer -H 0 -i 1 -l F8x16 -C 1 -m 1 -o stratum+tcp://maxcoinpool.com:4000 -O Loginname.Worker:Workerpass (ofc i use my proper logininfo here)

Have tried Rocketpool (when it was still up) Maxcoinpool and smalltimeminer. Same result. (Booooo)īs everywhere. Please help a noob out.

try http://dwarfpool.com/max
it's like 1GH but smaller. It;s the only one I can connect to atm.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 09:32:21 PM
OK, this pool seems to work fine, accepting shares.

http://dwarfpool.com/max

I see it just started. It's the only one up that seems to play nice with cudaminer.
If anybody wants to join me there, let's hope we can bring the first block faster. Smiley

EDIT: Here are the pool stats for my address:

I'm getting all boos when I do manage to connect to maxcoinpool with a gtx 580

cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -d gtx580 -L 128 -l F1024x16 -o stratum+tcp://maxcoinpool.com:4000

These do verify on the bench. Someone mentioned getting accepts, what settings or are you still getting accepts with the pool?

Man, that pool is creepy. If you look at the stats it only lists one block found. Plus, the miner behaves as if possessed and just a while ago I seem to have 43% invalid shares. Now only 20%. /:)

Now that almost a day has passed, I would like to know is the best hashrate achieved on a GTX 660.

I have ~66MHash/s with core clock @ 1060, mem clock @ 1500 and this comand line:

--algo=keccak -d gtx660 -C 2 -H 2 -L 128 -b 4096 -l K1024x32

Any other results for GTX 660?  Any advice on how to raise this?

cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -o http://127.0.0.1:* -u * -p * -i 0 -H 2 -m 1 -L 1024 -l K1024x32 -s 1 -C 0 -q
pause

85mhps with 110% TDP, +132 Mhz Core offset as secondary card.

Thanks, I tried it. Seems like without the overclocking it gets at ~70 Mh/s

i get about 20% less mhashs compared to the solo miner, is that normal?

I think so. I understand it's compiled with CUDA 5.0, and the boost in kepler cards (most 600 series) comes from CUDA 5.5
Let's hope Christian will share the official binary soon (he compiles with cuda 5.5)

In any case I am very grateful for the share, right now I'm doing ~50Mhs on with a GTX660 1GH pool.

EDIT: Also I am very grateful that I now can finally get up from my home pc and go to work. Still having a chance to keep my job there. Cheesy

is it too late to solomine? i havent gotten anything yet @ 80,000 khash/s
Mined all night at ~68 Mhash, no block. So yes, it might be too late.

Statistically speaking, ypool currently finds 214 blocks/h at 182.000 Mhash/h, so at 80 Mhash/h you should find one block every ~11h if your luck is perfectly average.

Correct math here !  Then variance can be a bitch !

yeah, variance says "no love for solo mining".

ok fine...

i'll post it Wink

you, sir, are on your way to greatness.

Testing the code which posted was on github with the fixes for the pool (maxpool.1gh) and compiled on windows with my gtx660 it works.
For the moment 43 accepted 7 rejected

yoda

Can you please post the binary? I also have a gtx660. Smiley Thank you.
