Tremendous post. Thanks.

I really wonder when this damn blocksize shit is going to be solved. It's becoming retarded.

Maybe its time to tell bitcoin goodbye and put our money into another coin. Can we reach consensus?  Wink

invmail.io
eclipso.eu

These two are worth a look. Both Europe based. eclipso has huge storage. Both get very good scores at ssllabs.com

What is this? There already is a Pinkcoin and it is currently trading. https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_pink

Paycoin is dead and will never rise again..

You got that right. The name "Paycoin" will always be tainted by, possibly, the biggest altcoin/cloud mining scam thus far. Those bagholders trying to peddle it might as well beat a dead horse.

But to just brush him off as a "joker" who wrote what he did in an effort to "destroy" bitcoin is I think very silly, and not good for bitcoin.

That's a fair statement.

We need to be pissed at those who reacted to Hearn and dumped their FFNN bitcoins  Angry

228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 19, 2016, 04:50:02 AM
Hearn and Garzik are children. " If I can't have it, I'll break it so no one else can play with it."

All this drama is making the shitcoin of the week look good and we don't need that.
Agreed, they just kind of shit that want destroy bitcoin.

Do YOU think they can destroy bitcoin? No?

Well obviously, since even YOU realize that, these guys, who are clearly much smarter than YOU also realize that they're not gonna be able to destroy bitcoin with a blog post...

It's just stupid to think that that's their motive. It's much more likely that they want to bring the very real issues that exist to more people, and hope that it gets fixed eventually, somehow.

Clearly, me and many more could not comprehend this. Thanks for enlightening all of us.

I'm all happy now knowing these jokers are highly intelligent beings incapable of an emotional, sour grapes rant.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stuck Ltc transactions on Bter.com on: January 19, 2016, 03:14:07 AM
Bter up to their old tricks. They hate arbitrage when they are on the losing end. Watch how quick they slow or stop withdrawals on a coin that is pumping elsewhere.  I had it happen with vertcoin.  Avoid them like the plague.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins - which do you like? on: January 18, 2016, 02:37:38 AM
Watching all the bitcoin drama regarding block size, any coin without a blockchain is looking good.  Tongue
231  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mcdonalds Slop! on: January 18, 2016, 02:20:44 AM
I hear you. Macdonalds is nasty.  The last KFC I got looked they cooked up a midget chicken. Everyone's burgers get smaller and smaller especially Dairy Queen burgers. And this shit ain't that cheap.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 18, 2016, 02:12:18 AM
is this why bitcoin went down like 50 over the past week?

I wasnt paying a ton of attention but was this clown the reason for the drop?

Apparently, he was.

Why people reacted to it is the 64 million dollar question. His motives are certainly questionable.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearn is wrong. Bitcoin isn't dead on: January 18, 2016, 02:09:58 AM
"All things shall pass."

A little hiccup in the grand scheme of things.

People need to relax and, FFS, quit dumping their bitcoins because some self proclaimed prophet predicts doom and gloom.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When push comes to shove. How many % of the hash power will run "classic"? on: January 17, 2016, 10:12:47 PM
Anyone find any hidden gems in the Classic code like "blacklisting"?
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE superSLEEPERS █ █ Season 03 Episode 01 █ █ aka "BigVern is Dead" on: January 16, 2016, 07:32:46 PM
I agree with the term "superSLEEPERS".

There are some fine coins that have been around for years that could easily fill bitcoin's shoes as far as tech and usage.  Surviving this long in this climate is big AFAIC.

There are many newer coins with great promise but remain unproven on many fronts.

Until people rally around one or a few coins as they have with btc, the ecosystem will remain diluted with nothing really taking off.

It's embarrassing seeing the greatest military on earth, on their knees with hands behind heads.

I watch American movies and their soldiers are invincible.

So much choice  Cheesy

Classic? Unlimited? XT? Core?

This is priceless!

XT failing should have been the writing on the wall but you gotta give this guy an "A" for asshole stubborn. Me thinks he's lost any and all credibility.

Oh. Is Eth at the "community takeover" phase already? It had a pretty good run ... I'll say that.
