Well part of the airdrop process was each applicant would be verified as having a significant social history before being given coins. Problem is alot of goobers around here are so hard-up to shill their other coin bags or get free coins for stuff like this they bother to spend months creating fake profiles. In theory.. In reality, many people simply made new email accounts with no social history attached and signed up a dozen+ times. Anyways, it's in the past, I only wanted to comment on the idiocy of some of this threads participants. Oh, so you call people idiot cause you don't have any proof for you fud. I understand now. It's hard to find a perfect, totally secure method. ALL the methods are gameable, and just a very few users would reveal their real identity for a free maybe shitcoin. But also if there is a strong project i guess many users would just verify themselfs, like at Decred.

Would be interesting to see some historical data (total Altcoins launched since 2011, #peak marketpap > 5M$, etc.). Not sure coinmarketcap.com or other sites make data that available.

Airdrop ended january 18.
Today is january 22....no numbers about airdrop partecipants.
Can just assume that since aidrop doesn't closed before end date,means that 5k cap wasn't reached.
The number of airdrop participants isn't that important, because after requesting the airdrop people had to create their address and confirm their request until 25th. I guess, a few claimers will fall out at this phase so, imo on monday, tuesday we'll get the final numbers I can totally agree with you on this one. |

How long until it's too late to get confirmed? After you have made the first block with all the addresses in I assume it will be too late, and the coin will be fully launched. Will that be in a matter of days, or weeks? I'm eager to see Decred completed and on exchanges.
It's important to give the last batch enough time to get confirmed - as much time as possible, so it looks like the final date to confirm an invitation by generating an address and submitting it will be Jan 25th. There will be reminders sent to earlier batches that haven't completed yet this week as well. Every effort will be made to get everyone sorted right up until that date, but it's important to move on it as soon as you get it. Time is not our friend, unfortunately. Sound like mainnet will be released january 25, that's why after this date you can't confirm address causfirst block will be minted. Better don't lay on expectations like this. We should wait and let the thinks flow itself. I mean we have time, the devs have time. We just should wait and work for something without bugs, etc. |

Why you people keep talking about decred? litecred is nothing to do with decred except cred in the name. litecred is bitcoin cloin. decred is new project using Golang btcsuite codebase. litecred is nothing in common with decred so stop the stupid talk of litecred more valuable when decred launch. They have nothing to do with each other. Any comparison is stupid. litecred just more pump dump shitcoin clone. Well there are some similarities just for your information. First of all both are partially distributed by airdrop, and both are having self funding block rewards At second litecred dev said that he intended to do a side coin for decred just as is litecoin to bitcoin do you think litecoin devs asked bitcoin devs about launching it? At third there is a good place for both coins, you should even think to litecred as a good promotion for decred as i know not a single person who heard about decred from this coin. At fourth the codebase, being a clone means a 100% copy of another code, can you show me that code with cubit algo , fixed pos reward and self funding? I know no coin with these features so the shitcoin clone theory is pretty much senseless. At fifth there is no code yet to make a real lite-decred, but once it is released over time there is a possibility to swap the whole thing to GO code based on decred.
