221  Economy / Gambling / Re: Host YOUR OWN Flip Game On Bitcoinduit.com on: August 01, 2011, 06:53:41 AM
Its been awhile since I started one of these, back when spreadsheet games were all the rage. I started a new round that returns 110% of the original bet with a 5% fee.  The min/max is 0.1/1.0 BTC.  Its located at http://www.bitcoinduit.com/game/viewRound.php?id=Lowballers  If anyone would like to try it out, it JUST started, and hopefully will cycle through for awhile.

To pigki, the site so far seems great.  Its smooth with a very simple interface.  Kudos for making it, I like it a lot.

Thanks! I just noticed your 5% fee (2% to the house Wink and 5% to you = 7%) on the second deposit got locked, fixing now. You should see a small tx come in shortly.. Work in progress..

Thanks!  To the people who are playing lowballers, my apologies, i did not realize that 110% meant 2.1x instead of 1.1x nor a 2% fee would be added on top of my game.  Therefore to clarify, it is 2.1x and a (5+2)% fee.

225  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB 1x2gb Ram Corsair VS2GB800D2 on: July 26, 2011, 12:41:44 AM
Meh, I already have one of the 1x2gb so I'll have to decline your offer.  Thanks though.

Bump at the same time (:
226  Economy / Goods / WTB 1x2gb Ram Corsair VS2GB800D2 on: July 25, 2011, 10:29:42 PM
I need one piece of ram from corsair specs are below:

* Density: 2GB (1x2GB Module)
* Speed: 800MHz
* Timing: 5-5-5-18
* Type: DDR2
* Format: DIMM
* Pin Out: 240 Pin
* Voltage: 1.8V
* Part#: VS2GB800D2 G
* UPC#: 843591004534
* Warranty: Limited Lifetime

From amazon it is $30, but for anyone with a fry's nearby it sells for $35 but with a $25 rebate from corsair if you purchase before 7/28. (http://images.frys.com/art/rebates_pdf/Corsair_39455.pdf) resulting in a net cost of $10.  The item is sold out online, so it would require you to buy it from the store and ship it to me.  Is there anyone that would be willing to do this?  Obviously I would be paying a lot more than $10 in bitcoins cause of the required out of pocket cost and time but less than $35 because you will be receiving a rebate.  This would be a good deal for someone who would like to invest in bitcoins.  PM me with offers if you're willing to.

Ended up simply buying from amazon.

Race for the jackpot has started! Cheesy

Haha, doesn't seem to be much of a race. Maybe I'll get lucky  Wink
229  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WEEKEND ROUND #5] BitCat.ch - automated bitcoin game. Next round on Friday on: July 22, 2011, 08:12:27 PM
Site is overloaded =(

Hey, one of my entries didn't show up in unconfirmed entries.  It was entry number 2 out of 4 with the address 18tk4h9mVbQj2m2wnRzc87jtoenrsgdCSu and was for 0.5.  Should I be worried because the other 3 entries before and after showed up.

edit: for now, now 2 entries seem to have disappeared when everything moved from confirmations and stuff.

Resolved! Thanks!

231  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bananington's Lotto(Ticket Prices are 1BTC each) on: July 19, 2011, 09:15:27 PM
Just use hypercam to record and have everyone post there address here
Truthfully, that wouldn't really prove anything. They could just make the video over and over until they get the results they want.
true that

He could use two windows, one open to time.gov and the other to his randomizing. And then set a time on a designated time zone such as PDT on time.gov and then right when that time hits to do the randoming process.  Therefore he wouldn't have the chance to run it multiple times.
232  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Sign Up for BitBetter; Free Hosting Account! on: July 19, 2011, 09:38:41 AM
Still nothing...
payments still on hold.

Do you know how much longer payments will be on hold?
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [BTC bounty] Help me with Sapphire Trixx and voltage control on: July 19, 2011, 04:42:44 AM
While I am not sure about the voltage slider being unresponsive, one possibility of your sapphire trixx not running settings automatically is (and i quote from another forum)

"Also, REMEMBER TrixX supersedes AMD Overdrives options in all areas, GPU, MEM OC as well as Volt and Fan control. Depending on if it loads after CCC. If AMD Overdrive in the CCC loads after TriXX it will use its settings.

You should set TriXX to load with windows if you want the settings to apply automatically at startup. But it starts faster than CCC on occasion if it does simply go to any option in TrixX and select apply and that will ensure TriXX settings overide the AMD Overdrive.
"

In order to test this, you could set a delay in trixx loading with windows so that it will start after CCC and see if its settings are automatically loaded.
234  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Pyramid [alpha-stage, 0.01 btc for first newcomers!] on: July 18, 2011, 08:03:24 PM

Maybe he signed them up and is gonna give to friends?  I don't see how signing up for that many would benefit himself otherwise
235  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: 1.7 X your entry starts..now! on: July 18, 2011, 01:26:53 AM
I really should stop reading the gambling forum. But I'm not broke yet, so what the heck... Tongue
I see this http://blockexplorer.com/address/1M4GdHx4YX27DNDQKnY7xNovx9xwHwAyYB

It says unknown address in Bitcoin so how do I know which one is yours?

Any of the addresses should return back to the sender as long as he or she was using the bitcoin client and not an online wallet.  This occurs because the received coins are not all in the same address so its sent in from multiple addresses.
236  Economy / Gambling / Re: King of the Mount Automated Bitcoin Doubler (Rounds Start Every Saturday Night) on: July 18, 2011, 12:43:39 AM
is the "Last Round" link on the page not supposed to show anything other than the table headers?  I would really like to know what the level of participation looked like in the previous round so I have a good idea of if I should jump in or not.

I only have 3.27 BTC to my name, and this just seems risky.  HOWEVER, the current round DID start this past night/morning, so my chances of getting a return "seem" good, eventhough that return would only be 1.5 BTC on top of the initial 3 BTC I put in.

Just look at archives because the last few rounds were dead for an unknown reason (no one participated).  It was really popular and then declined as the "age of DT" games came to an end and then now begins to grow again.
237  Economy / Gambling / Re: King of the Mount Automated Bitcoin Doubler (Rounds Start Every Saturday Night) on: July 17, 2011, 10:16:55 PM
Wow this really took off.  Glad to see Herbert's original automated (after NothinG's game had too many bugs) game return (:
238  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of honest traders. on: July 17, 2011, 07:12:23 AM
Sounds like a plan.  Still hoping for something integrated into the forum because imo the more steps required to post something like this, the less likely everyone will.  Anyways, lets talk through pm so we don't flood this thread and leave it to honest trader vouches.
239  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of honest traders. on: July 17, 2011, 06:50:49 AM

Would you like to work together to make a PHP/Mysql page for this instead of a spreadsheet? That way people could vote in real time after logging in with their bitcoin.org userIds, post a reference ID (forum thread, blockexplorer info, comments, etc) for each transaction as well as each member to give a better picture and rank?

Umm, my plan was to keep it simple and in the forum and I am absolutely unfamiliar with php/mysql so I am not sure what the result would be.  If everyone (or a lot of people) prefer that, then most definitely sure.  Whatever best serves the community is good with me.  What you bring up sounds like a magnificent goal but the problem is getting it integrated with bitcoin.org so that people would not need an additional registration.  I suppose if the mods agreed to let us use their database for accounts, they would have simply implemented a ranking system.  But I am entirely open and supportive of what you bring up, only time will tell what we end up having.
240  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of honest traders. on: July 17, 2011, 06:25:19 AM
Hey everyone, I compiled these past 34 pages of posts into a single spreadsheet for easy viewing and whatnot.  It is updated as of this post.

The username on the list means it has one vouch/successful trade/+1 and each additional x is another +1.  If they reach the end then I just put TRUSTED in the final column with total number of +1s in ( ).  I'll update it for the time being.  If anyone would like to check to see that this is correct, the second sheet has it in chronological order, first vouch is first and so on give or take one or two spots.

I hope that this will make it easier for everyone to search and see if the person they are trading with is honest and help build the trust in the community.  If someone was mentioned as a scammer in the thread, I put a link to the appropriate post after their name.  If you have any questions, feel free to send me a pm, I will be updating this whenever I can, but before the end of august when school starts, hopefully a trusted member or moderator could take over as I will be unable to update frequently.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send me a pm.
