221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: blockchain wallet showing zero balance and that I haven't made any transactions? on: April 06, 2014, 07:47:03 AM
It's weird. I have access now.

Crisis averted I guess.

On the iPhone app it seems like inadvertently archived my address? When I unarchived it I had access just like before across all devices...
222  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Umm did I get hacked? on: April 06, 2014, 07:37:38 AM
Crisis averted......

I guess I somehow archived my receiving bitcoin address?

And that made it show up as zero balance.

Anyway I have access now and funds are all there.

223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Umm did I get hacked? on: April 06, 2014, 07:25:55 AM
I can see my wallet here:

https://blockchain.info/address/1PoY1bpigWqqeTkY3XErUzJvKdNubPtRVS

So I don't know why it says zero balance and zero transactions when I log in>Huh
224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Umm did I get hacked? on: April 06, 2014, 07:18:30 AM
Explain the symptoms from the exact moment you noticed an issue.  For example, noticed my balance was zero. ...

Thank you.

Saw that I received BTC from mining co-op. I then went to check my blockchain app on iphone and attempted to update the balance. Nothing happened. I then logged into blockhain wallet on my ipad with 2FA and it flashed my balance (~.46 BTC) and then went to zero. I didn't think too much and tried to log back in, and same result. I then check my transactions, and it says I haven't made any...

The only thing different maybe was this afternoon I pressed a button on the blockchain iphone app by mistake ("new" under receive button" I don't normally press and I got an email from blockchain about a wallet backup.
225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Umm did I get hacked? on: April 06, 2014, 07:07:15 AM
my most recent notification was that I received expected funds. I received no notification about me sending any funds...
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: blockchain wallet showing zero balance and that I haven't made any transactions? on: April 06, 2014, 06:55:32 AM
Hi,

How much funds you have earlier?

.4 or so and I just received a payment from a mining co-op.

I don't understand.

Here's my BTC address:

1PoY1bpigWqqeTkY3XErUzJvKdNubPtRVS

How could I have a zero balance and then it says I have zero transactions as well. I have like 40 at least....
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / blockchain wallet showing zero balance and that I haven't made any transactions? on: April 06, 2014, 06:45:58 AM
someone please tell me that I didn't get hacked and that there is some explanation for this.

I have 2FA on everything.
228  Economy / Service Discussion / [Blockchain.info] Umm did I get hacked? on: April 06, 2014, 06:32:02 AM
My blockchain wallet shows zero balance. I have 2FA set up.

Received email stating the following from blockchain:

"Wallet Backup

Attached to this email is an AES encrypted wallet backup which contains everything you need to restore your bitcoin balance. You can use it to restore the wallet at anytime at My Wallet or using the 3rd party MultiBit Desktop client."

Not really sure what my next step is....

Strangely enough it also says I have had no transactions???

Hi There:

Maybe I'm in over my head.

I have wheezy pre-installed on a raspberry pi and trying to get my ten gridseeds going somehow. I've connected everything up and all I have on the screen is "Raspbian GNU/Linux 7 hashracontroller tty1

Sorry for pointing out the obvious, but have you checked the setup guide: http://hashra.com/support/ (you're at step 6 I suppose).

Thank you; I'm not really sure how to check it, and I don't want to fry anything.

On the North American plug ground is the round pin. Check continuity between that and the wire that you are going to connect to the ground terminal on the PSU.

I have a Chinese plug though...

I have red, yellow, and blue wires inside my power cord in my kit. The plugs are chinese from the looks of it.

anyone know how these match up to their PSU a la the NA green, black, white?

Not to be a troll...but after reading extensively on getting a gridseed setup...ROI looks to be 6-8 months...well after the high powered ASICs arrive.  Is buying gridseeds really worth it?

Yeah, I fear this too.
I have 6 GPU's and 10 Gridseeds happily hashing , but I fear they'll never reach ROI.
Furthermore, with all those big companies producing ASICs (scrypt and SHA256), I'm sure they all do "quality control" for a fair amount of time
=> difficulty goes up even before you have your miner
=> large amounts of BTC are being sold making the rate drop.

...

So yeah, I still believe in the concept of BTC, but in the long run, and not as a small miner. I'd just buy some coins with some money you don't really need and wait (a long time)

I feel less and less sure about my small mining investment--although I love the slow trickle of BTC.

I think  mid-July is a good time to sell gear to see if you can make a slight profit.

I got EU power or something....is it OK if I use a ten amp 12.5V power cord with this setup that I have lying around? It has the bluish green, black and white wires just like the guide. thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't see this Groupbuy happening soon. The two options are:
1) Wait for the price to go up
2) Raise the price for each share

Please send my BTC back, but I'd like to keep my slot reserved for any future changes. I might also be willing to pay more BTC if everyone agrees on that.

I'm fine with that personally. Doesn't look good ATM

wolfey,

how much do you think I can overclock the gridseed by doing just the pencil mod and bridge mod? the last remaining mod is a bit out of my leage,

and you are a continent away so I cannot send them over to you that would be really not cost effective haha^^

The resistor mod is necessary to clock over 950MHz stably. Especially to even get 1000mhz to be stable and pretty much hw error free.
But, if you can do the solder bridge, you should be able to do the resistor replacement just as easily.

Best performance is with all 4 mods. That's just the way it is if you don't want to have to put up with red nuisances 'nonce's' Wink

Wolfey2014

could you show me what resistor I can use or buy on ebay for example? I'm in Spain and here the local electronic shops are pretty hard to find.

http://www.jameco.com/1/3/resistor-1-8w

If there is anyone in the Toronto area with the expertise to perform these HW mods for me it is much appreciated. I will compensate of course. Also need help with setup. Have 10 units and rasp pi with cgminer already compiled. I am a total newb to pi and everything, read through threads a bunch of times but I need to save time on the weekend to be with my family.
